I mostly like comedies or something along those lines. I refuse to watch scary or horror movies because they just freak me out too much!

I love music! I play the guitar and the clarinet. I am always listening to music and usually have my ipod with me. Some bands of the may I like are Relient K, Switchfoot, Jars of Clay, Kutless, and POD.

I enjoy playing music, going out with friends, hanging out at a beach or by a pool, going for walks by the river, going for coffee/icecream, driving, chatting on msn, checking some of the usual websites that i go on (nexopia, myspace, opendiary).

I really like the author Melody Carlson, other then that, I tend to just read random books that sound appealing to me.

My name is Laura, i'm 17 and about to start my senior year of highschool (I work at McDonald's). After graduating, I plan on going to bible school in BC and becoming a christian councilor. Though i'm going to be honest, i'm currently having some problems staying close to God. For awhile I didn't care, but now I am starting to, and i'm trying to get back. I went through a period of depression and self-injury, amoung other things, that I am still dealing with. I have some christian friends, but they don't really display or talk about their faith so they don't really help me. I've been praying for more christian friends lately. I thought something like this site would help me get back closer to God. I love to chat so feel free to comment or messege me about anything.
