I have decided to do a study on the life of Christ and then post the Salvation volume of the "What Is Biblical?" series and then finally, post a series of the characteristics/qualities/virtues that a Christian should have. All of these studies will be a series of sermons. So it will be a while before we get through it all. It all starts as soon as I can do it and as soon as I get faster internet. So until then, God bless! In Him, Robert
Break My Heart Clint Rhodes
Break my heart, dear Lord,
Tear the barriers down,
Show me with, convicting tears,
The glory of Your crown.
Chorus - ladies echo
My heart is hard, my soul so weak
The ways of evil cut so deep
I need You, Lord to come inside
And gently break my heart.
My sin is great, but I can see,
The glory set for me.
Show me Father, where to start.
And gently break my heart.
When I look in the mirror… …I see scars on my face. I see great guilt. I say, “Robert, how could you do such a thing?! How could you hurt Christ again? How could you?!” I see a heart that is troubled. I cry out to God, asking for forgiveness and asking Him to break my heart. When I look in the mirror again… …I see a broken heart. A heart that has been broken by God and a heart that has lost it’s sinful desires. When I look in the mirror for the last time… …I see a new heart that is on fire for God. I see that those evil desires change to God’s desires. I see the heart of a servant of the Lord.
I believe that few sermons can be completed without the invitation. This is because some people need to hear that we are willing to be there for them, where ever they need help. Sometimes, without the invitation, some won’t come forward to ask for prayers, give their lives to Christ or something similar to that. I mean, it’s just a simple thing that can help people and why should we take it away? Therefore, I encourage all of those who have written sermons and are writing to use the invitation. Thanks for your attention and may God bless you! In Him, Robert
Robert, a servant and follower of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To all the saints and churches in the world: Grace and peace and love to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank my God for all of you. I have seen some of your faith in the Lord. It amazes me! I wish to pray for you and this is my prayer: that your love and your faith will increase and that you will bring glory to God forever and ever. Amen. I have also heard of some things that have disturbed me. I hear that friendships are being broken and that friends have become enemies. This should not be! If we are Christians, we need to live at peace with one another for it says in 1 Corinthians 7:15b (TNIV)- God has called us to live in peace. Why then, do we fight? I know that Christ came to put a daughter against her mother and a son against his father but if you both are on the same side, why fight? We should be at peace with everyone! I have also seen people tell lies. It's ridiculous! Lies are sin and remember that the Word of God says in Colossians 3:9 (TNIV)- Do not lie to each other. I have also heard cussing and the use of God’s name in vain. This is getting ridiculous! You foolish Christians! How dare you curse the Lord’s name! How can you bless His name and then turn around and curse it? In Colossians 3:8, the Scriptures say: But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: …filthy language from your lips. It also says in James 3:9-12 (TNIV)- With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse human beings, who have been made in God’s likeness. Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be. Can both fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring? My brothers and sisters, can a fig tree bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Neither can a salt spring produce fresh water. In the same way, how can we praise the Lord and then turn around and misuse God’s name? My brothers and sisters, why do you praise and curse God? Out of the same mouth as well? Why do you do this?! Many do not realize they are using God’s name in vain when they are. When you say, “Oh my Gosh,” instead of “Oh my God,” and using it in the wrong context, you are using God’s name in vain. “Gosh,” is just a substitute for the Lord’s name. Anything that replaces the word or the phrase is a substitute; therefore you are saying the same thing. You are also saying the same thing when you substitute a word for a cuss word. This cannot be! My brothers and sisters, you shouldn’t use the Lord’s name in vain nor should you have a filthy tongue. Now then, be strong and courageous for the Lord our God is with you always! My brothers and sisters, encourage one another and do not discourage each other. Treat each other as you would want to be treated. I hope that you will grow in your faith and will be strong through the trouble and strife. Your Brother In Christ, Robert

Give Us Clean Hands Written by Charlie Hall (capo 1) We bow our hearts, we bend our knees Oh spirit, come make us humble We turn our eyes from evil things Oh Lord, we cast down our idols So give us clean hands, and give us pure hearts Let us not lift our souls to another And give us clean hands, and give us pure hearts Let us not lift our souls to another O God, let us be a generation that seeks That seeks your face O God of Jacob O God, let us be a generation that seeks Who seeks your face O God of Jacob © 2000 worshiptogether.com songs/Six Steps Music CCLI# 1596342 Album: Worship Together Volume 4

If You Say Go Written by Diane Thiel If You say go, we will go If You say wait, we will wait If You say step out on the water And they say it can't be done We'll fix our eyes on You and we will come Your ways are higher than our ways And plans that You have laid Are good and true If You call us to the fire You will not withdraw Your hand We'll gaze into the flames and look for You © 2002 Mercy/Vineyard Publishing CCLI# 1596342 Album: If You Say Go

How great is the Lord Jesus Christ! Christ has risen from the dead. If Christ didn’t rise, I would have nothing to say to you all today. This is the good news: Christ died on the cross, was buried and arose three days later for our sake. At the cross, Christ took on the sins of this world. If you have faith and believe, repent and are baptized, you will be saved and Christ’s blood will take away your sins and you will be forgiven. You will die with Christ, be buried with Christ and be resurrected with Christ. Christ died for you and he loves you. His command is to love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength and to love your neighbor as yourself. If you say that you love God but hate your brother, you can’t love God. Christ has risen from the dead. Christ arose! If you trust and obey, you will be saved and you will go to heaven! Thank you for your attention and may God bless you!
