&nb sp; LOVING PRESENCE
"My presence will go with you , and I will give you rest !" Exodus 33:14 I may not know what the future holds for me, yet I do know that good waits for me in the unknown: God is there. Wherever I go, God's spirit is within me and goes before me! Becoming quiet, I allow myself to experience the loving presence of God with every fiber of my being. Knowing that God will NEVER forsake me, I am relieved of fear and anxiety. God is powerful enough to have created the sun, the moon, and the stars , and have sent the mighty rivers surging across the ground to forge immense canyons . Yet God is GENTLE enough to have created the delicate petals of a fragile flower. God created me , and being a part of God's majesty greatly blesses me. As we quiet our thoughts , we experience the loving presence of God. My dear friends I pray this blesses you and gives someone encouragement today as it did me. Let us be still and Know He is God. No matter the trials and pain we endure we have God's spirit inside us. Much love to all who read this !

&nb sp; Anyway People are unreasonalbe, illogical, and self-centered &nb sp; LOVE THEM ANYWAY If you do good, people will accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives &nb sp; DO GOOD ANYWAY If you are successful, you win false friends and true enemies &nb sp; SUCCEED ANYWAY The good you do will be forgotten tommorow! &nb sp; DO GOOD ANYWAY Honesty and frankness make you vulnerable, &nb sp; BE HONEST AND FRANK ANYWAY What you spent years building may be destroyed overnight, &nb sp; BUILD ANYWAY People really need help, but may attack you if you help them &nb sp; HELP PEOPLE ANYWAY Give the world the best you have and you will get kicked in the teeth, GIVE THE WORLD THE BEST YOU GOT ANYWAY! This is very good advice and something to ponder. It was a handwritten letter posted on the wall of Shishua Bhavan, the children's home in Calcutta and came from the book Mother Teresa , A Simple Path. I pray that as we all grow older We learn how to understand that no matter what we do it will usually be taken wrong by some and that people usually get kicked in the teeth all too often and stop giving the world the BEST THEY HAVE TO OFFER! We find many people today who are unreasonable, illocical and self-centered. People pleasers , those who want superfical friends . I find it better to have true freinds even if it is a handful. The old saying still stands if you want a friend you have to be a friend. Let us decide that as we follow what we were commanded to LOVE ONE ANOTHER AS CHRIST LOVED US, we will LOVE ANYWAY , DO GOOD ANYWAY, SUCCEED ANYWAY, BE HONEST AND FRANK ANYWAY, BUILD ANYWAY , HELP PEOPLE ANYWAY, AND GIVE THE WORLD THE BEST WE GOT! GOD GIFT TO US WAS JESUS CHRIST FOR THE REMISSION OF OUR SINS , OUR GIFT TO GOD IS WHAT WE DO WITH THAT LIFE! Meditate on this Word of God: Hebrews 10:24
And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, WITH MUCH LOVE LYNN
WHAT HAPPENED TO DOING RIGHT? WHERE ARE THE MORALS AND VALUES? As I sit and watch people I often have wondered why so much hate? We seem to ask ourselves why is the world becoming so hateful, when so many profess to believe in God? Why are our children , who happen to be our future leaders , so far from what is good and right? Where I the pride in our Country? Could it be we stopped teaching morals and Love of our Country? Are we teaching more about World History then American History ? I do know one thing Children LEARN WHAT THEY LIVE. Our future is in the hands of these young adults and I am not sure I like it . I do see how they may have gotten that way. For too long they have lived with people who are judgmental , hypocritical and some with pure hate! I see daily grown adults who hold so much hate and that is learned by their children and even grown adults cannot stand for right and wrong anymore. I am not nor ever will I go with the flow. I guess some would call me politically incorrect. See I stand for Christ and America and Families. I stand for our freedom to speak but not our freedom to abuse that right to speak. We in America hold freedoms that few will ever see. We abuse these freedoms everyday ! I see people cheapen freedom with ugliness and hate! Freedom is a high cost commodatity and this is wrong . Many should think about this. We have been given the right to pursue happiness. Not garaunteed , you must pursue it. We are given the right to vote , if you do not , then do not complain if you do not like the goverment. You are given the right to choose to do as you please , if your life isn't what you want it to be CHANGE IT! IF YOU DO NOT LIKE IT HERE FEEL FREE TO LEAVE! YOU HAVE THAT RIGHT TOO. When my parents taught me to treat people as you want to be treated it wasn't because they were Christians , it was because they had respect and basic morals. But as a Christian I am taught by my Lord that it is very important to be strong and to do right even when right today seems to be wrong. I see people everyday compromise doing the right thing to what they say make peace with people. Lame excuse folks. See that is why Children today do not have a clue how to act. The adults of today do not know how to act. Bad company corrupts good morals even if you do not belive in Christ this still stands . We reap what we sow , even if your not a believer that is the law of life and it will never change. You have to stand for something or you will fall for anything! I see too many people compromise doing the right thing to appear to be a good person or a peacemaker . This is not what your doing folks , what you do is show your double minded. Are we called to be double minded ? I think it is time to behave with self control and morals. You have them or you do not. What totally boggles my mind is people will throw away morals and values to have so called friends. Friends stand closer than brothers they do not stand with people who through stones at you. Who are your friends and what kind of influence are they having on you. For those of you who are Christians, it is time to stand up and learn how to do as Christ spoke so often. Love one another , be a just person. Proverbs 17:15 states : Do not justify evil and condem the just for BOTH ARE AN ABOMINATION TO GOD! We need to look to see if we are hurting our Lord by justifying bad evil behavior and condeming or letting others condem the just. It is time for all of us to stand and do right! Stand for God ,Stand for this fine Country you live in today ! Life is for living and we are to live it in abundance and joy! We are given today as a gift that is why it is called the present. Nobody has any idea when they will cease to be but a vapor here on earth. Think of what you did today and how you spoke if you were not hear tommorow what would people have to say about you. Have you told those you love that you love them . Live your life in joy and happiness and get rid of all hate and malice and stay away from people who are hateful and negative . Positive people bring positive and negative breeds negativity and hate breeds hate, love will breed love! What are you breeding today? God Bless all my friends and my wonderful family! God Bless those who strive to change things and walk away from the bad .God bless those who stand for the weak and those who can't stand by themselves. Stop today and tell someone you love them, enjoy the nature that we are blessed to enjoy, and slow down and live your life enjoying the wonders of all we have here and now! Smell the flowers so to speak. How long has it been since one stopped to really smell the rain, hold their grown kids, enjoy a walk, a sunset , a sunrise . Stop being religious and start a relationship with our Lord who created all things for our pleasure .Go get some pleasure today !

May we all remember even during our busy times that today is a gift! Living and Loving is Giving. You can take of a man's money and have nothing but when you take a piece of their time , you have taken a piece of their life!  " Just a reminder that life is short ! The above picture is of my sister Michelle , whom I never met and lost her life to an evil act of man at age 45 . Did she think that night she would never say I Love you to her Kids again ? Did she think that doing the laundry was so much more important than the little things? That tommorow she would do simple things ? Had she known would she had done things different? Oh , I can say I am sure she would have left the laundry dirty and the dishes undone. Are we looking at what is valuable in our lives and the beauty that surrounds us? Maybe we are too busy running around making sure we are always doing. Be Still and KNOW I AM GOD! Even God tells us to be still. I pray that we all take time to be still and examine our lives are we living like we or one we love may not have another hour , day or month? I pray that everyday the Lord reminds me that today is all I have. To live in the moments of life where memories are made. To not worry about what is to come and to ABOVE ALL THINGS LOVE OTHERS . THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN GIVE BUT LOVE ,JOY AND PEACE TO ALL WHO COME IN OUR PATH! LETS LEARN TO TAKE TIME! &nb sp; TAKE TIME TAKE TIME TO THINK: it is the source of your power &nbs p; TAKE TIME TO PLAY: it is the secret of your youth TAKE TIME TO READ: it is the foundation of your knowledge TAKE TIME TO DREAM: it will take you to the stars TAKE TIME TO LAUGH: it really is your best medicine TAKE TIME TO PRAY: it is your touch with almighty God TAKE TIME TO REACH OUT TO OTHERS: it will give your life signifigance TAKE TIME TO LOVE: it is the only thing worth value to leave behind TAKE TIME TO REALLY LIVE: stay in the moments where life is lived. May we all seek our hearts to see if we are putting our time in things that really matter of if we are wasting precious time doing things that lead to unproductive lives.  " Now that two of my boys are adults and my last boy is a sophmore in high school, I have come to realize there are many times in life we have to let go. The deaths of my sister, my father , my close friends has taught me to live in the moments of life. It has also taught me that learning to let go and what it means is so important. Living is Giving! Live with Love and give love and give joy and give the ones who need it the gift of Letting GO! Boys, I Love You all and I am proud of the Men you have become and will continue to grow! Have patients while I learn how to let go ! For all who read this , may we learn just a little better from the words below on what letting go really is ! &nb sp; LETTING GO : LETTING GO is not to STOP caring- it means I can't do it for someone else! LETTING GO is not to cut myself off - it's the realization that I CAN'T control another LETTING GO is NOT to enable- but to allow learning from natural consequences! LETTING GO is to admit powerlessness- which means the outcome is not in my hands! LETTING GO is not to try to CHANGE OR BLAME ANOTHER- it's TO MAKE THE MOST OF MYSELF! LETTING GO is NOT trying to fix _ but to be supportive; not to judge-- but to allow another TO BE A HUMAN BEING! LETTING GO is NOT to be in the middle, arranging the outcome- but to allow others to effect their own destinies! LETTING GO is NOT to be PROTECTIVE- it IS to permit another to face REALITY! LETTING GO is NOT to deny- but TO ACCEPT LETTING GO is NOT to nag, scold, or argue - but instead to search out my own shortcomings and correct them! LETTING GO is NOT to criticize and regulate ANYBODY-but to try to become what God birthed ME to become ! LETTING GO is NOT to REGRET the past- But to grow and live for today ,(that is all we really have today and look twoard the future) LETTING GO -------IS TO FEAR LESS AND LIVE MORE! WHAT IS A FRIEND? To All My Friends : I hold you all dear to my heart! For you are all a treasure in my life. Never forget that even when I forget to tell you! &nb sp; WHAT IS A FRIEND A FRIEND sees the best in you, even when you're not showing it. A FRIEND knows when you need someone to talk to, when you need to be alone, and , most important, the difference between the two. A FRIEND can tell when you need a hug and doesn't hesitate to offer one. A FRIEND makes you laugh when you see the little to laugh about! A FRIEND will always come to YOUR DEFENSE, NO MATTER HOW OFTEN CALLED UPON TO DO IT OR UNPOPULAR IT MAKES HIM OR HER. ( FRIENDS ARE WE CHECKING TO SEE IF WE ARE DOING THIS) A FRIEND believes you first and RUMORS SECOND! A FRIEND never passes up the chance to encourage you! A FRIEND tells you when you're about to make a MISTAKE A FRIEND SHARES THEIR CHOCOLATE WITH YOU ! OH YEA ! A FRIEND is someone you can always depend on , even when you don't deserve it ! A FRIEND brings our the BEST in you, but doesn't insist on the credit. A FRIEND understands you ,even when you don't. A few true friends are better than many superfical friends. May I always treat you my friends in this manner. I honor and value you in my life and sometimes one gives more than the other but as friends we love each other and keep no records of wrong. May we all see the precious gems of those who we can really call a friend . May God grant us the ability to be a freind and to know how to care for our friends like the treasure they are! Thank you to all my friends who have seen me and are seeing me through a time of war and grief in my life . This is to all of you . To my kids and to you Jim , thank you for encouragement and words of kindness and love. To my internet friends , your encouragment is very helpful and always comes at just the right time. To Rick , you know me better than i know myself , thank you for showing me the tough things . My friends in Iraq, your an inspiration , I miss you all and I enjoy talking to you ! All my Love to all of you!
God Loves You! But, Do You Love God!   In the times of today we see that many want to use several things to avoid taking responsibility for their own actions. Many will use the Word of God to justify evil deeds and hurtful actions. Others use the excuse of past hurts and pains that they have lived through. More still use the excuse that "Well that is just how it is today , it is all ok." NONE , I say again NONE is true. There are no excuses for our behavior when it is wrong. It is time for everyone to step up to the plate and take responsibility for how we act ,react and things we speak! The next thing is to STOP taking responsibility over things we were never given responsibility over! As I come to a place in my life where I look at my life and wonder , where has it gone so quickly and what did I do with what I was given. We have come to a time where we all need to examine our lives ,values and character. The only thing we leave behind when we leave this vapor of a life , is what we imparted into others lives. Are we imparting Love, Joy, encouragment, wise counsel? Or have we imparted anger, condemnation, hurt and pain? Let us learn to walk in excellence in Character and integrity! One thing comes to mind. We all hear Jesus (God) loves you! Well most of us know this we hear it all the time. The Word says " For God so loved the WORLD, that he gave" So we know Jesus loves us and that does not seem to keep us following Christ example or even having decent morals and values. The REAL QUESTION IS DO YOU LOVE JESUS ? Now if we Love Him , let us examine ourselves and learn that to live is to give. That we can have abundance in all things. Why is this so because God promised us that is we SEEK FIRST HIM, SEEK GOD, he would give us all things. Why hang our heads and walk in defeat when we know God loves us. Why live in pain of the past , fear of the future, when we know not what tommorow holds. Because we are not seeking God first. We are not Loving Jesus ! Ponder this if you know Jesus loves you ask How much do I LOVE JESUS. For in Loving Him more , we can decrease and become humble ,forgiving , kindhearted, loving, giving, joyful, peacefilled, people with excellence in Character , values, virtue , honor and integrity! This is were Christ can increase! As I walk this new journey set before me, I have learned that I sometimes have to be still and know He is God! To wait on the Lord to show me the next steps in my life of where He wants me to serve, To give , To Love , To encourage . To be true to myself, the person he knitted in my mothers womb. Not who the World , my family or my friends think I should be , but who I was created to be at birth. The gifts I have and the talents unique to me in order to carry out the plans HE had for me before I was brought here. Search our own soul! Trying to be who we are not , does more harm then good. Take off the masks , take responsibility for our actions, words and life. Use our gifts and talents for the better of mankind. In This God's birthed purpose . WE WILL FIND PEACE! My prayer is that all will search our souls , really search, and let the one who created us , guide us unto His divine destiny for each of us. May we be willing to be moldable in His hands. May we grow a little bit each and everyday in excellence in all we do. So that all we do may benefit those around us and bring Glory to God! In Jesus Name I pray.
