 DIRECTIONS TO OUR FATHER'S HOUSE.....
 
 Make a right onto "Believeth Blvd.. Keep straight and go through the  Green Light, which is Jesus Christ.
 
 From there, you must turn onto the "Bridge of Faith," which is over troubled waters. When you get off the bridge, make a Right and  Keep Straight. You are on the
"King's Highway" -- Heaven-Bound.
 
 Keep going for three miles: One for the Father, One for the Son and One for the Holy Spirit.
 
 Exit off onto "Grace Blvd." From there, make a Right turn on "Gospel Lane ." Keep straight and then make another Right onto "Prayer Road ."
 
 As you travel on your way, Yield Not to the traffic on
"Temptation  Ave." Also, avoid "Sin Street" because it is a DEAD END!! Pass up  "Envy Drive," and "Hate Avenue." Also, pass "Hypocrisy Road,"  "Gossiping Lane," and "Backbiting Blvd."
 
 However, you must go down "Long Suffering Lane", "Persecution Street"  and "Trials and Tribulations Avenue." But that's all right, because  "VICTORY ROAD" is straight ahead ! Amen ! ! !!

My Best Friend

I came to a point in my life everything looked so bleak
My health situation was so grim I could barely speak
I got so down and out I had to turn to my best friend...
On my knees, arms outstretched, I thought it was the end.
With tears in His eyes, He said to me," Rise up, rise up my friend.'
He placed my hands in His wounds, he told me, " it is not the end."
"It's a bend in the road; a moment of truth; a turning point in your life.
You know you can count on me even when there is no strife.
I am always here for you; I am Jesus; I am your Best Friend.
I was there in the beginning; I was there in the middle; I will be there in the end,
My name is Jesus Christ; I am the Son of God...
I gave my life on the cross for you,
I didn't shed my precious blood because I had nothing else to do.
I am Jesus Christ; I am your Best Friend; I didn't have to die that faithful day,
I could've changed everything; I have the power, my friend, I could've walked away.
But I chose to carry the cross; I chose to suffer; I chose to die on Calvary...
With arms outstretched, My Precious Blood, was shed to redeem thee
No greater love than this has any man shown; I died on the cross for thee
My love is unconditional; My love is free; I am your Best Friend through eternity."

Last night I took a journey
To a land across the seas.
I didn't go by ship or plane
I traveled on my knees.

I saw so many people there
in bondage to their sin.
And Jesus told me I should go,
that there were souls to win.

But I said "Jesus,
I can't go to lands across the seas."
He answered quickly,
"Yes, you can by traveling on your knees."

He said, "You pray, I'll meet the need.
You call, and I will hear.
It's up to you to be concerned
For lost souls far and near."

And so I did; knelt in prayer,
Gave up some hours of ease,
And with the Savior by my side,
I traveled on my knees.

As I prayed on, I saw souls saved
And twisted persons healed,
I saw God's workers strength renewed
While laboring in the field.

I said, "Yes Lord, I'll take the job.
Your heart I want to please.
I'll heed Your call and swiftly go
By traveling on my knees." 

Do you ever feel like you are caught in
A spiritual tug of war.
Where your soul is the battleground,
And you can't take it anymore?

The closer that you get to God,
The more resistance you will meet,
God will try to stabilize your life.
Satan tries to knock you off your feet.

God wants you faithful.
Self-satisfaction is the devil's tool.
So the battle rages inside of you
On just who is going to rule.

The more Godly that you do become,
The more things will go wrong.
Satan is trying to make you weak,
God is trying to make you strong.

You contemplate giving in to evil
To end the struggle within you.
Our nature seeks the easy out,
Just what Satan wants for us to do.

Put on the armour of the Lord.
Soon Satan will turn and flee.
He will only win if you want him to.
Do not sell short of eternity.

To The Journey's End 

O Lord God of power and might,

Your Word is true.  Your judgments are right.

Feeling Your presence is such delight.

My spirit soars upward like a kite.

A fire in my soul, You do ignite.

I pray that it will always burn bright.

Help me continue to fight the good fight,

To live holy and righteous in Your sight

Until the day that I take my flight

To that city where there is never a night!

 

The Son of God came to save that which was lost,
To redeem our soul from the power of the grave.
Where the prisoners of death must rest together
Except for the spirits of the kind and brave.

The preaching of the cross is ignored by fools,
And sinners who are unable to conform.
By grace we are saved as a gift from our Lord,
Who wipes tears from the faces that mourn.

By learning, loving, working, teaching, and prayer,
We submit our years as a tale to be told.
The survival of life is our pilgrimage,
As we tackle each challenge both young and old.

No one can be sure of how long they will last,
Though all have a choice of whom they choose to be.
Warmongers, adulterers, thieves or saints,
Everyone must some day bow down before thee.

From dust we were made and shall return,
After life has brought us to our earthly end.
Though all must walk in the shadow of death
The righteous are promised they will rise again.

I'm sure you've all received applications for credit cards in the mail.
  However, I'm here to advertise a different card.
You see, my life is a  product for others to see.
 I'm a card carrying representative for
The Master's Card.
That's right,
