I fixed my ThinkPad! That's good. It's not doing what I want...that's bad. Trying to install Ubuntu (www.ubuntu.com) Linux, but it's not working. My stupid old thinkpad says "~ a bunch of tech stuff ~ Can not boot from this CD. Please insert CD2 or update BIOS." My BIOS is right, just maybe I downloaded wrong installer. I wonder if my ThinkPad isn't an i386. Gotta check that out. Anyways, bye bye! Bust a Gut June 10

Sooooooooo..... It's almost 2 AM, and I am bored so I am gonna post a blog. ANIMATION I have a friend named Tala. We picked baby shows to represent each other. I'm a crazy white dude who (but you wouldn't know; I look halfway normal) talks to inanimate machinery, so I'm Sam the Builder (Can we hit him?). Tala is Mexican, so she's Tala the Explorer (Too-too-too-too-too-Tala, Tala, Tala, Tala the Explorer!). What I'm getting around to is that I want to make an animated (about 10 minute) episode of "Tala the Explorer", a parody, like SNL's Maraka, but without the profanity. I need help with voices and music, because no matter how hard I try, I can't replicate a girl's voice, like the one needed for Tala the Explorer. If you would like to be a voice contributor, message me for the script (in progress). Alternatively, if you would like to supply the theme music (DTE theme, with mods, message for details), I would greatly appreciate it. OTHER... I still need input on SongFrog. I can't currently see any reason to learn a programming language unless I have a project. I'm going to start a thing called "Bust a Gut", where each entry I will provide you with a cute/funny picture or funny joke. I'm at my mom's work, and they have this stupid filter. It considers Dailymotion (where Alloftv.net has mirrors at) and ProjectPlaylist to be "adult content". That's like rating Dora the Explorer TV-14 because it caricatures a minority! So, I'm trying to hack it so it'll let me through.
Also, home internet on the fritz, again. Dad freaking out, again. Probably stupid Windows' fault, again. Wouldn't happen if we had a Mac (again?). So it sucks to have a Windows computer...AGAIN! Anyway, that's it. I have to get ready to go to a friend's (we'll call him Jon, as that's his name) birthday party/sleepover (and by sleepover, we mean "all night game-a-thon"). I might be on Pokemon or Mario Kart WFC tonight (actually, now too; just figured out mom's work has wifi). SUMMER IS HERE! (SORRY FOR THE SHORT ENTRY, BUT I GOTTA GO HAVE FUN!)
I'm gonna save and buy a new MacBook. They redesigned and souped them up (apple.com/macbook). We are going to get a wireless router, so the built-in 802.11n technology will help (we're waiting till n is no longer a draft to get a router). We have a problem with our home PC's internet (I'm at my mom's work.). The modem is connected to our DSL provider, and it's got power, but the Ethernet crap isn't working. I think it might be because of an incorrectly-issued command (OKAY! I pushed the wrong button!). I'll try to fix it tomorrow, unless Dad fixes it first. Having problems...went to Wally World (Wal-Mart) and bought Action Replay MAX DS. It's...not working. DS won't recognize that the ARMDS is a cartridge. Not looking good. E-mailed Datel, gonna call 'em tomorrow. Finished my silly school "brochure" project on Rothenburg ob der Tauber (my Firefox browser thinks I just destroyed the English language as we know it). I'm not really caring, so long as I pass. I still want peoples' input on SongFrog! Check my previous post and comment, message, or IM me. God bless, Sam
