Mission Romania
Posted On 05/24/2007 18:26:12

Mission to Romania

Dear Friends, I start by thanking everyone who contributed to help me go on the mission field to Romania last year.  It was a wonderful experience and I really believe it made a difference in the lives of many Romanian people.  I have an opportunity to return to the Romania again in September.   I am taking time off of work and I am excited about joining a team from the Great Bridge Church of God where we will be doing several ministry activities.   We will be holding leadership conferences in several of the villages where we will be training their pastors and workers in outreach ministry, leadership, and soul winning. We will be preaching in some of the larger cities and we will also be working on some of the buildings there with our hands.   We are also going to help our missionary, friend and my mentor Roy Olsen who lives in the village of Pestere where he has started a ministry called "Apa Vie" (Living Water). His ministry there trains youth people (high school & college students) to become leaders, helps to feed the hungry, holds weekly children ministry events and trains leaders and pastors around Romania.

I believe I am supposed to go and help in this endeavor.  The cost of this trip is $2000 for airfare, accommodations and food.  I would like for you to consider helping me by giving a financial gift so I can go with the team to Romania.  Anything you give is tax-exempt and can be made to the Great Bridge Church of God (my home church).  You can send it to the address below.

Please pray for us and I thank you in advance for you prayerful consideration in this matter.

  In service to the KING!

Exposing the Accuser of the Brethren III
Posted On 02/09/2007 17:18:54

Yet, Satan seeks not only to accuse us as individuals but to blend intoour minds, introducing criticisms and condemnation against others aswell. Instead of praying for one another, we react in the flesh againstoffenses. Our unchristlike responses are then easily manipulated by thefaultfinder spirit. Therefore, we cast down the accuser of the brethren by learning to prayfor one another instead of preying on one another. We must learn toforgive in the same manner as Christ has forgiven us. If one hasrepented of his sins, we must exercise the same attitude of "divineforgetfulness" that exists in heaven. We defeat the faultfinder when weemulate the nature of Jesus: like a lamb, Christ died for sinners; as apriest, He intercedes. The second weapon this demon uses against us is our past mistakes andpoor decisions. Each of us has an inherent propensity toward ignorance. One does not have to read far into the history of the saints to discoverthey were not called because of their intrinsic wisdom. In truth, we allhave made mistakes. Hopefully, we have at least learned from them anddeveloped humility because of them. This faultfinding demon, however, takes our past mistakes and parades them before our memory, criticizingour efforts to do God's will, thus keeping us in bondage to the past. When the enemy pits us against one another, it first provokes us tojealousy or fear. The security of our place in life seems threatened byanother's success. Perhaps to justify our personal failures or flaws, wemagnify the past shortcomings of others. The more our jealousy grows, the more this demon exploits our thoughts, until nothing about theindividual or his church seems right. In the final stage we actually wage a campaign against him. No defensehe offers will satisfy us. We are convinced he is deceived anddangerous, and we think it is up to us to warn others. Yet the truth is,the person whose mind is controlled by the faultfinder demon is the onewho is deceived and dangerous. For his own unrepentant thoughts towardjealousy and fleshly criticism have supplied hell with a "lumberyard" ofmaterial to erect walls between members of the body of Christ.Sadly, it is often leaders who have fallen from the intensity of theirfirst love who become the fiercest persecutors of others who are movingin the Holy Spirit. Christ's disciples will be persecuted, but thisauthor can find no biblical authorization for Christians to persecuteothers. Persecution is a deed of the flesh. "But as at that time he whowas born according to the flesh persecuted him who was born according tothe Spirit, so it is now also" (Gal 4:29). Incredibly, those who aregiven to persecuting others often actually think that they are "offeringservice to God" (John 16:2).To combat this enemy we must create an atmosphere of grace among us asindividuals and between us as churches. Like the Father who has given uslife, we must seek to cause all things to work together for good. If onestumbles, we must be quick to cover him, without condoning hypocrisy, for we are "members of one another" (Eph 4:25). As it is written, "Noneof you shall approach any blood relative of his to uncover nakedness; Iam the Lord" (Lev 18:6). We are family, begotten from one Father. "Theirnakedness you shall not uncover; for their nakedness is yours" (v 10).Even under the Old Covenant, it was unlawful to uncover another'smistake publicly. Love finds a redemptive way to cover a multitude ofsins.Where The Vultures Are GatheredThe accuser uses yet another weapon, and it uses this weapon astutely. There are times in our walk with God when, to increase fruitfulness, theFather prunes us back (see John 15). This is a season of preparation, where the Lord's purpose is to lead His servants into new power inministry.During this time, God requires new levels of surrender as well as afresh crucifixion of the flesh. It is often a time of humiliation andtesting, of emptiness and seeming ineffectiveness as God expands ourdependency upon Him. It can be a fearful time when our need is exposedin stark visibility.Unfortunately, this time of weakness is apparent not only to the man orwoman of God; it frequently occurs before the church, and beforeprincipalities and powers as well. The faultfinder spirit, and those whohave come to think as it thinks, find in their target's vulnerability anopportunity to crush him.Time and again, what would otherwise have become an incubator of lifebecomes a coffin of death. Those who might otherwise emerge with theclarity and power of prophetic vision are beaten down and abandoned, cutoff from the very people who should have prayed them through toresurrection. In this attack the faultfinder is most destructive. Forhere this demon aborts the birth of mature ministries, those who wouldarm their churches for war.The faultfinders and gossips are already planted in the church--perhapsyou are such a one! When the living God is making your pastor moredeeply dependent, and thus more easily shaped for His purposes, do youcriticize his apparent lack of anointing? Although he did not abandonyou during your time of need, do you abandon him now when your faithmight be the very encouragement he needs to fully yield to the cross? Those who are sympathetic to the accuser of the brethren fulfill, byapplication, Matthew 24:28, "Wherever the corpse is, there the vultureswill gather." The backbiting of these vulture-like individuals actuallyfeeds their lower nature, for they seek what is dead in a church; theyare attracted to what is dying.Eventually these faultfinders depart, instinctively looking to takeissue with some other church. "These are grumblers, finding fault . . .the ones who cause divisions" (Jude 16-19). They leave behind theirformer brethren, severely wounded and in strife, and a pastor greatlydisheartened. Soon, they join a new church and, in time, God begins todeal with this new pastor. Once again the faultfinder spirit manifestsitself through them, strategically positioned to destroy another church. Today, God is seeking to raise up His servants with increased power andauthority. In the pruning stage of their growth, will we water theirdryness with prayer or will we be vultures drawn to devour their dyingflesh? How To Correct ErrorWhen the accuser comes, it brings distorted facts and condemnation. Those who are trapped by this spirit never research the virtues in theorganization or person they are attacking. With the same zeal that thefaultfinders seek to unearth sin, those who will conquer this enemy mustearnestly seek God's heart and His calling for those they would reprove. True correction, therefore, will proceed with reverence, not revenge.Indeed, are not those whom we seek to correct Christ's servants? Arethey not His possession? Is it possible the works of which we arejealous, and thus critical, might be the very works of Christ? Also, letus ask ourselves: why has God chosen us to bring His rebuke? Are wewalking in Christ's pattern? These are important questions, for to be anointed with Christ'sauthority to rebuke, we must be committed to men with Christ's love. But, if we are angry, embittered, or jealous toward another, we cannoteven pray correctly for that person, much less reprove him. Jesus, thegreat Lion of Judah, was declared worthy to bring forth judgment byvirtue of His nature: He was a Lamb slain for men's sin. If we are notdetermined to die for men, we have no right to judge them.Additionally, local ministers should be in communication with oneanother, never basing their opinion of another church or leader on thetestimony of one who has just left it. If people join your congregationand bring with them a root of bitterness against their former assembly, that root will spring up in your church and many will be defiled. Therefore, no matter how much you need new members, never build yourcongregation with individuals who are unreconciled to their formerfellowship.Indeed, the Lord's word to us is that in the House of the Lord criticismmust be replaced with prayer, and faultfinding eliminated with acovering love. Where there is error, we must go with a motive torestore. Where there are wrong doctrines, let us maintain a gentlespirit as we seek to correct those in opposition.Lord Jesus, forgive us for our lack of prayer and the weakness of ourlove. Master, we want to be like You, that when we see a need, insteadof criticizing, we lay down our lives for it. Lord, deliver Your church

of this demonic faultfinding spirit! In Jesus' name. Amen.

Exposing the Accuser of the Brethren II
Posted On 02/09/2007 17:16:03
No One Is ExemptIt is of some consolation that Christ Himself could not satisfy the"standards" of this spirit when it spoke through the Pharisees. Nomatter what Jesus did, the Pharisees found fault with Him.If you personally have not consulted with and listened to the individualof whom you are critical, how can you be sure that you are notfulfilling the role of the accuser of the brethren? Even the "Law doesnot judge a man, unless it first hears from him" (John 7:51).The enemy's purpose in this assault is to discredit the minister so itcan discredit his message. I have personally listened to scores ofpastors from many denominational backgrounds, and I have found that thetiming of this spirit's attack upon their congregations was almostalways just prior to, or immediately after, a significant breakthrough. The unchallenged assault of this demon always stopped the forwardprogress of their church. When this spirit infiltrates an individual's mind, its accusations comewith such venom and intimidation that even those who should know betterare bewildered and then seduced by its influence. Nearly all involvedtake their eyes off Jesus and focus upon "issues," ignoring during thecontention that Jesus is actually praying for His body to become one.Beguiled by this demon, accusations and counter accusations riflethrough the soul of the congregation, stimulating suspicion and fearamong the people. Devastation wracks the targeted church, whilediscouragement blankets and seeks to destroy the pastor and his family,or other servants of God in the church.Nearly every minister reading this has faced the assault of thefaultfinder spirit at one time or another. Each has known the depressionof trying to track down this accusing spirit as it whispers its gossipthrough the local church: trusted friends seem distant, establishedrelationships shaken, and the vision of the church is quagmired instrife and inaction. This enemy is not limited to attacks on local churches, however. Itsattacks are also city wide and national. Major publishers have mademillions of dollars selling defaming books which are hardly morecredible than gossip columns in the tabloids.Yes, in a few of the ministries there was serious sin, but there arebiblical ways to bring correction, ways which lead to healing and not todestruction! There are denominational supervisors, as well as localministerial associations that can review disputes privately. Instead, church leaders boldly challenge other leaders; newsletters and cassettetapes critical of various ministries circulate like poison through theblood stream of the body of Christ--and how the Savior's churchgluttonously eats it up!To mask the diabolical nature of its activity, the faultfinder willoften garb its criticisms in religious clothing. Under the pretense ofprotecting sheep from a "gnat-sized" error in doctrine, it forces theflock to swallow a "camel-sized" error of loveless correction. In anattempt to correct violations of Scripture, the very methods employedare a violation of Scripture! Where is the "spirit of gentleness" ofwhich Paul speaks in Galatians 6:1, the humility in "looking toyourselves, lest you too be tempted"? Where is the love motive to"restore such a one"?In most cases the person supposedly in error has never even beencontacted before his alleged mistakes enter the rumor mill of the city'schurches. Only then, after the slander has been made public through abook, tape, or media broadcast; does he become aware of his allegedfaults. Brethren, the spirit behind such accusations must be discerned, for its motive is not to restore and heal, but to destroy! The Pure ExampleThe church does need correction, but the ministry of reproof must bepatterned after Christ and not the accuser of the brethren. When Jesuscorrected the churches in Asia (see Revelation ), He sandwiched Hisrebuke between praise and promises. He reassured the churches that thevoice about to expose their sin was the very voice which inspired theirvirtue. After encouraging them, He then brought correction.Even when a church was steeped in error, as was the case with two of theseven churches, Christ still offered grace for change. How patient wasJesus? He even gave "Jezebel . . . time to repent"! (Rev 2:20-21) AfterHe admonished a church, His last words were not condemnation, butpromises. Is this not His way with each of us? Even in the most seriouscorrections, the voice of Jesus is always the embodiment of "grace andtruth" (John 1:14). Jesus said of the sheep, "They know His voice. And astranger they simply will not follow, but will flee from him" (John10:4-5). Remember, if the word of rebuke or correction does not offergrace for restoration, it is not the voice of your Shepherd. If you areone of Christ's sheep, you will flee from it.The Enemy's WeaponsTo find an indictment against the church, it is important to note theenemy must draw his accusations from hell. If we have repented of oursins, no record of them nor of our mistakes exists in heaven. As it iswritten, "Who will bring a charge against God's elect? God is the onewho justifies" (Rom 8:33). Jesus is not condemning us, but rather is atthe Father's right hand interceding on our behalf.Let us, therefore, expose the weapons of the faultfinder. The first isour actual sins. Our failure to repent when the Holy Spirit desires tocorrect us opens the door for the accuser to condemn us. The voice ofthe enemy never offers hope nor extends grace for repentance. It acts asthough it were the voice of God, and we were guilty of the "unpardonablesin." The way to defeat the enemy in this arena is to disarm him bysincerely repenting of the sin, looking again to the atonement of Christas the sum of all our righteousness.

Exposing the Accuser of the Brethren

Exposing the Accuser of the BrethrenFrancis Frangipane Senior Minister River ofLife Ministries Cedar Rapids, Iowa More churches have been destroyed bythe accuser of the brethren and its faultfinding than by eitherimmorality or misuse of church funds. So prevalent is this influence inour society that, among many, faultfinding has been elevated to thestatus of a "ministry"! The Lord has promised, however, that in Hishouse accusing one another will be replaced with prayer, andfaultfinding with a love that covers a multitude of sins.Satan Wants To Stop Your GrowthThis chapter is written specifically to expose the activity of theaccuser of the brethren among born-again Christians. There areindividuals who are trapped in cults where mind-control and deceptionare involved; we are not dealing with the uniqueness of their problemsin this study. Rather, our goal is to see the Living Church deliveredfrom the stronghold of faultfinding, and to have our hearts turnedinstead to prayer. In an attempt to hinder, if not altogether halt, the next move of God,Satan has sent forth an army of faultfinding demons against the church. The purpose of this assault is to entice the body of Christ away fromthe perfections of Jesus and onto the imperfections of one another. The faultfinder spirit's assignment is to assault relationships on alllevels. It attacks families, churches and interchurch associations, seeking to bring irreparable schisms into our unity. Masquerading asdiscernment, this spirit will slip into our opinions of other people, leaving us critical and judgmental. Consequently, we all need toevaluate our attitude toward others. If our thoughts are other thanfaith working through love, we need to be aware that we may be underspiritual attack. The faultfinder demon will incite individuals to spend days and evenweeks unearthing old faults or sins in their minister or church. Thepeople who are held captive by this deceitful spirit become "crusaders,"irreconcilable enemies of their former assemblies. In most cases, thethings they deem wrong or lacking are the very areas in which the Lordseeks to position them for intercession. What might otherwise be anopportunity for spiritual growth and meeting a need becomes an occasionof stumbling and withdrawal. In truth, their criticisms are a smokescreen for a prayerless heart and an unwillingness to serve. That someone should discover the imperfections of their pastor or churchis by no means a sign of spirituality. Indeed, we could find fault withthe church before we were Christians. What we do with what we see, however, is the measure of Christ like maturity.Remember, when Jesus saw the condition of mankind, He "emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant . . . He humbled Himself by becomingobedient to the point of death, even death on a cross" (Phil 2:7-8). Hedied to take away sins; He did not just judge them.

Hear My Heart

Part I.

I broke this in parts, because I will not be able to finnish it now. There's too much to say.

I stand in Awe at my Heavenly Father. He is so awesome. He continues to amaze me. As the Angels encircle his throne crying Holy, Holy, Holy because of a new deminsion they see each time they circle the throne. Do we see Him in that way or do we just see Him as a gimmie god?

He wants to pour out into your life and Bless you, but we too many times tie His hands of Blessings with pride, greed and selfishness. We allow things to get into our way of walking in His will and  seeing the fruition of the dream and vision He planted in us.

One thing that is dear to my heart, is how we act within the church body He planted us in.

I have met and know too many people that wont get involved in the ministries in their home church. They complain about the music, what the Pastor preaches, the temp, or any number of other things. They talk about one another and complain about how Sunday School is tought and all kinds of things.

GOD WILL NEVER SEND REVIVAL IN THIS MESS!!!

One other thing that's on my Heart is the Pastor. If you in any one speaks against a Pastor, they are infact speaking against God. Can we question His decissions???

I believe we bring curses onto ourselves by speaking against God's Ordained.

         ever studed Saul and David?

If you aren't active in ministry you have no right to say anything. Even if you are serving in Ministry and you have a complaint, you go behind closed doors with your leader and RESPECTFULLY suggest an alturnitive way of doing things, but accept His or Her authority. If they don't accept your suggestion, accept it and move on not out.

God will Honor your submition and Obediance!

Think About it
Posted On 12/23/2006 22:44:45

 Think About.

We all know that time is near, but how many are truly ready? How many of us just attend church, say a couple of simple prayers and keep Living as if nothing happens. God wants all of us. Not just a Sunday Christian. Many live in simple mediocrity(sp). Too often we say a few slang praise words, maybe lift a hand out of Habit or somthing like that but have No power to fight Satan.

David said that God Inhabits the praises of His people. I believe that if we really want to go into the Throne room of Heaven we must Praise Like David did. Like nothing else matters, Like no one else is watching you. With out any inabitions. Yes Like going CRAZY for God. With a pure heart and then God will lead us into worship. I don't think we just waltz into worship. I believe he has to lead us there. We then worship with all we have and then we worship till He pours out His Glory. Then Stand in His Glory,(if you can).

Another Thanksgiving Thanks

I wrote this as a Bulletin but felt it needed to be a Blog as well so I could share my feelings with all that pass by my page.

Another Thanksgiving Thanks

We all have our things we can be thankful for. I wanted to take just a moment to share with all of you how thankful I am for the friends and family I have found here at JC FAITH.

There are no words to describe the Blessings I have received since I have joined.

I've met Sara who's husband need a Liver and God saw it through, theres Gina, Sue, Tom, Todd, Marcia, Rudy and forgive me so many others that have touched me in some very special ways that my walk has been so enriched.

When God opened the doors for me to go to the great country of Romania for a 2 1/2 week mission trip you guys were there to cover the other pastors and myself in prayer. You gave me great words of encouagement and Love. You streched out accross the Ocean and lifted us in your hands of LOVE.

But I found also Antonella, and Lory and others that live on that side of the world who reached out with Love and compassion and welcomed me there to serve.

Yes I'm Thankful for my wife Debbie and my kids Ami-Ann and Byron and always will be, but I have found so many brothers and sisters here that have taken a whole new part of my heart.

Theres Restored, Peeveanator(sp), Myfatherstheking, g_mac,Valerie,Deedee,Spiritwalker,Up4theride,JCinthehouse and so many others. Oh I'm a Blessed man to have soo many wonderful people in my life. Some I may get the chance to meet personnally, but many I wont, Oh!!! But when I get to Glory, I'll know you all!!!

The Harvest is being gathered here, people are being healed and lives are being changed. I came on one eve and Jeffy was shouting, he said he had just gotten the chance to lead a young lady to Christ. All the Heavenly Host were Rejoicing.

Ok I'm Penticostal so I'll slow down, but I do have to Shout from the Roof top "GLORY"!!!!!!!

Thank you guys for you Love and Kindness, thank you for being children of the KING!!!!

Reply:

 Dear Concerned Student:

I am not allowed in schools.

 Sincerely,

 God

 ----------------------------------------------------------

How did this get started?...

  -----------------

Let's see,
I think it started when Madeline Murray O'Hare complained
she didn't want any prayer in our schools.

 And we said, OK..

 ------------------

Then,
someone said you better not read the Bible in school,
 the Bible that says
 "thou shalt not kill,
 thou shalt not steal,
and love your neighbors as yourself,"

 And we said, OK...

 -----------------

Dr. Benjamin Spock said
 we shouldn't spank our chhildren
 when they misbehaved
 because their little personalities
would be warped and we might damage their self-esteem.

 And we said,
an expert should know what he's talking about
so we won't spank them anymore..

  ------------------

Then someone said
 teachers and principals better not
discipline our children when they misbehave.
 And the school administrators said
no faculty member in this school
better touch a student when they misbehave
because we don't want any bad publicity,
and we surely don't want to be sued.

 And we accepted their reasoning...

  ------------------

Then someone said,
let's let our daughters have abortions if they want,
and they won't even have to tell their parents.

And we said, that's a grand idea...

  ------------------

Then some wise school board member   said,
 since boys will be boys

and they're going to do it anyway,
let's give our sons all the condoms they want,
so they can h ave all the fun they desire,
and we won't have to tell their parents they got them at school.

And we said, that's another great idea...

 ------------------

Then some of our top elected   officials said
it doesn't matter what we do in private as long as we do our jobs.

 And we said,
 it doesn't matter what anybody,
 including the President,
does in private as long as we have jobs and the economy is good....

  ------------------

And someone else took that appreciation a step   further
and published pictures of nude children
and then stepped further still by
making them available on the Internet.

And we said, everyone's entitled to free speech....

  ------------------

And the entertainment industry said,
let's make TV shows and movies that promote
 profanity, violence and illicit sex...
And let's record music that encourages
rape, drugs, murder, suicide, and satanic themes...

 And we said,
 it's just entertainment
and it has no adverse effect
and nobody takes it seriously anyway,
 so go right ahead.

  ------------------

Now we're asking ourselves
why our children have no conscience,

why they don't know right from wrong,
and why it doesn't bother them to
kill strangers, classmates or even themselves.

  ------------------

Undoubtedly,
if we thought about it long and hard enough,
 we could figure it out.
I'm sure it has a great deal to do with...

 "WE REAP WHAT WE SOW,"
