Don’t let your hurt feelings get in the way of what God truly has in store for you! Don’t hold a grudge against someone who did you wrong. People make choices in life that aren’t always what should have been or what could have been, while knowing in their heart what to do, and was mislead and misguided by people who are in no position to guide anybody. No one but you and God can know what’s right for you in many cases of your life, and by not listening to what God places in your heart, you are disobeying and turning your back on him. You will realize later down the road when things aren’t going so great that if you would have only listened to what God was telling you then you would have been alright and in a much better position in life. Whether it be your Christian walk, your calling, or even your relationships, You have to listen to what God has put in your heart to be successful at anything you do. Don’t put words in God's mouth! Don’t say things that "God said," if he didn’t really say it. It causes nothing but hurt, confusion, or distrust towards him. And sometimes even all of them. Things happen that you might feel strongly about. Doesn’t mean God told you that. When God tells you something you know its him telling you. Don’t be confused and put words in God's mouth!
Never settle for anything less than the best for yourself! There is a certain someone for you, there is a certain job for you, and there is a plan that God has worked out for you. Listen to God leading you and your plan will unfold as the days go by.
Everything happens for a reason. Maybe its to help us. Maybe its to open our eyes. Maybe its to open a door in life. Maybe its even to help us realize something we did wrong. Just know that God is in charge and anything, good or bad, that you have to go through is for a reason. Keep faith and trust in God and You'll find more good reasons than bad.
We all have people that we look up to. Some might look up to their parents, or their friends, or actors, singers, or even athletes. The people we look up to have a big influence in our lives. Things they say or do, lyrics they sing, all have an influence on us. Ever so often do our parents say and do things that influence us. We are all the time listening to music that might influence us. Things we do or things we say are all influenced by someone or thing. There are some songs that might influence us in a good way. They might give us hope or even make us happy. There are also songs that might influence us in a bad way. They might make us sad, or depressed, or make us lose hope. Things our parents do or say can make us happy or give us hope. Our parents are people that love and care for us and want the best for us. They guide us and help us in things that we do. Never do they try to mess things up or make things hard for us on purpose. They just love us and want the best for us. But in a Christian and spiritual mind, there are some things that parents can’t help us or guide us in. That is where we have to follow the spirits leading. -“Since we are living in the spirit, let us follow the spirits leading in every part of our lives.” Galatians 5:25- We sometimes become so dependant on our parents that we forget about the spirits leading and we completely ignore it. We can be told by our friends and families what we should do in certain situations; but you and the Lord are the only ones who truly know your heart. Your family and friends mean well, but the spirit knows well! When you are faced with a situation where you have your family and friends telling you one thing and the Lord placing something in your heart and leading you in another, take what God has placed in your heart and run with it! The Lord is not gonna allow things in your heart that’s not there for a reason. As far as your family goes…they love you and are gonna be there for you whenever you need them no matter what decisions you make in life. If your ever faced with that situation, talk to them. Let them know what you feel in your heart. Let them know where the spirit is leading you! They will understand cause they love you and want the best for you. And I can guarantee that if your being lead by the spirit then that is what’s best for you! I’ve said before that God doesn’t move our feet for us. We take our own steps and make our own decisions. But the spirit is there to guide us in those decisions so that we know which is right and which is wrong. If we don’t make the decisions and do the things we are being lead to do then it is wrong! If your not walking where the spirit leads you then your not walking on God’s path. Staying on the path God has for you is one of the most important things you could do! -“For those who follow Godly paths, will rest in peace when they die.”- Isaiah 57:2 Just know that as long as you are doing what your being lead to do by God placing it in your heart and not letting anybody else’s desires hinder you, you will be fine and everything will work out for you! If it’s against your family or friends, just let them know what you feel in your heart and because they love and care about you then they will understand and you wont have to worry about making them mad, hurting them, or letting them down. Walk where God’s path is leading you and never turn around. Don’t question or second think where it is taking you. Just know its taking you where your suppose to be.! Its never to late to make things right and find your way back on the road!
