CRYING JOURNEY

Walking down that aisle,

With her dad right beside her

Her mom crying,

She knew she raised her daughter correctly

You see that man ahead of you waiting anxiously,

He is looking everywhere,

But with big eyes

He could tell there there is a journey waiting for him

She closed her eyes tightly,

As tears rolled down her face

She is scared

She doesn't know if she is making a mistake

But then, she could tell there is a journey waiting for her

She walks up to the man

She grabs his arm,

As she is crying desperately

And then lets go of her dad's arm

As he puts the ring on her finger,

He starts laughing,

He remembers everything he went through in life

And as they looked at each other

They could tell there is a journey waiting for them
