This is LadyShapes. If you are on my list of friends....thanks for your outpouring of love. It was great to see all of the birthday greetings! I've never received so many birthday greetings in my entire life...I'm 54! Thank you so very much. All of you have made my day! That's just like Jesus...He speaks through people sharing His love, compassion and concern! Thank you Lord for your loving and caring people! They are truly shining your glory and your praise!
It is so great to have the time to be able to see you all (in the spirit)! I've been so very busy here at school that I haven't had time to visit you. Please forgive me. Please continue to keep me in your prayers for this is the season and the time of transition. God has much in store for us, and we must be ready for the new move of God within our lives and within our communities! May you all be blessed as you go about your day!
Right now I'm a little shaky. I'm going through something my brothers and sisters, and I need your prayers. Each day I ask the Lord for strength. I just ask Him to help me. I know that He will. This is the hope that I have in Him. He has never failed me, and I know that He will not fail me now.
Moving from Connecticut to Boston is a real trip! (If you know what I mean!) I took two weeks off from work to come to Boston to start preparation for the big move. The two weeks are up, and I had hoped to get more done in two weeks than I did. I got an apartment and furnished it. I checked on a college for myself. I am going to transfer (with the favor of God) to Emerson College. My two sons are almost registered for school here. It was a matter of being able to get around that had me gone almost all day every day..getting things for the house and my sons. Please remember me in your prayers...my body is weary! Even though I am tired, I know that there are opportunities for me here that I have been searching for. I have been looking for this for years! Therefore I am not sorry that I made the move. It is a lot on one person!
There's two sides to the midnight hour. To the world, it's a time when some people just begin to party while others are going to bed. For somebody else, they get themselves into a world of trouble that they soon cannot get out of. Then there is the kingdom of God. Midnight was when the Apostle Paul sang praises unto God, and deliverance came. Which midnight are you experiencing? The midnight of the darkened world, or the midnight of delliverance?
Although sometimes I am still running around like a chicken with my head cut off, God is nevertheless in control! I know this because that is the way I believe! God is control of everything that concerns me and you. Nothing happens in our lives without His permission. You and I are extremely blessed to the point that we forget it.
Sometimes you may want to give up.
Sometimes you may want to end it all by throwing in the towel.
Jesus could have given up in the Garden of Gethesemane.
Jesus could have told the Father that He had changed his mind about Calvary, but He didn't.
Thank God He didn't!
Where would we be if Jesus had changed His mind?
Where would you and I be if Jesus had decided that we were not worth the effort?
OH...but praise God...He did not change His mind.
He went through His assigned task.
Therefore you and must do our part...we must do our assigned task for the kingdom of God!
The Lord is Good all the time! Even though there was confusion about my sons' leaving today for Boston, God's mighty hand was all in it! I praise God for His hand in all of my business!
God is moving here in Boston! God reconnected my two sons with their aunt and four cousins this weekend! It was great to see them interact with one another. My sons felt so good to find their cousins. In fact, one of their female cousins looks like one of them. My son Tony looks like my newfound niece! That is so great! I took pictures because I want to start a scrap book now. It is important that I start this for my sons' sake. The Lord spoke to me a lot through the four messages that I heard while I was here. Even when I went to visit a church that I had not planned to visit, God gave me a word! I can see the path more clearly now. Thank you all for your prayers. As I prepare to return to Connecticut, please continue to hold me up in prayer. I do not know what I will face when it comes to my house. I do know that God will have all things in control.
