A Solemn Vow
The creator made me who I am
From his dust he made me man
He spoke all things into existence
His Kingdom full of translucent light
His hands were gifted with precious life
The mighty God of us all
Granted me victory through his blood
Through unstained eyes he saw peace
Through lepers claws he gave release
Hindered not by others pain
He sought to release them from their sin
His life he brought to man reborn
And Humbly did he lie in wait
For his life’s gruesome fate
Death did not stain his brow
His passion did not die in vain
His love became alive again
To bring me back into his fold
He purchased my life with his blood
A sacrifice so holy and pure
Refreshed my heart to endure
Pain has not mastered me
Nor death of family
My soul belongs to Only Him
Restoration and Sanctification he gave to me
And freedom from condemnation my heart can see
To my God I solemnly vow
To Him and only Him will I humbly bow.

This was written after my Father and daughter and Grandmother passed away, all within Nine months. I felt I needed to let the enemy know he couldn't sway me from My Lord.
