I once walked in darkness and constant woe, seeking escape from a soul wreching despair.
Deep down I knew the answers for I'd learned them from the start all I had to do was believe with all my heart.
So I gave it all to Jesus and He set me free, set me free from the chains that bound me in darkness and misery.
Now I praise Him everyday and I'm walking in the light and I'm never turning back, I'm free from the darkness and walking with my Lord at last.

Thorns & Stripes
One day a long long time ago there was one, God's only begotten Son who came to set the captives free. The crown of thorns meant for me was places upon His brow and the stripes meant for me were placed upon His back, then His hands and feet were pierced for me on Calvary's Tree and also upon that tree He sufferd a spear in His side and water and blood came forth, forming a crimson river at His feet, and in this river we can plunge in and be made complete. So may I always be found at my Saviors feet because there and only there am I totally complete.
