A Survey for my Daughter
Posted On 12/04/2006 19:26:40

My daughter needs to survey 100 people on their favorite fair ride/attraction. It would be a huge help if you all could send me a quick message on which is your fave. THANKS SO MUCH!!! Oh, and I know there are three versions of "roller coaster" so just go with it! LOL.

My Favorite Ride/Attraction is:
Roller Coaster
Horror Rides
Bumper Cars
Log Rides
Go Carts
Ferris Wheel
Wooden Coaster
Steel Coaster
Virtual Games
Race Cars

Whadda Great B-Day!
Posted On 11/14/2006 20:17:25

Thanks to all for the wonderful b-day greetings!!! GBU!

Okay, first of all, I do not own and bang my head to my own copy of "High School Musical" LOL. My eldest daughter is watching it. Apparently she has not memorized every line yet!

Today was my birthday and I recieved one of the greatest gifts! Okay, better get out your floss and Crest because this is one of those comments that sounds so sweet....LOL. But there's no other way to say it. The gift was...laughter. This was so funny!

As you know, we are still trying to wean ourselves from the barrage of politcal ads that hit our screens everyday. (This sounds like one of those "Laughter is the Best Medicine" articles in Reader's Digest - lol.) This was made really evident today when I read my card from my daughters ages 13 and 8. The eight year old wrote:

"Happy Birthday dadda! You are the best daddy in the world and I love you! My name is Marybeth and I approved this message."

"Thank you Lord, for the gift of humor. Thank you for blessing our daughters with it because I know it is a tool you have used in my life to help me and to allow me to help others."

Don't ever overlook the power of laughter.
