We have someone that is pretending to be other members of JCFaith. They are logging into CHAT as STAFF and ADMINISTRATORS. They are then threatining to "ban from CHAT" if you don't give them your password. NEVER give your password to anyone.... even if they "look" like they are STAFF/ADMIN. We DO NOT need passwords to access member profiles so we have no need to ask for them. Some members have already fallen victom to this scam and have had their profiles tampered with. If you have had your profile tampered with please email me. God bless, Jay
I am asking for prayer on behalf of one of my wifes brothers. She just received a call that he is in critical condition in a Charleston, SC hospital. He has a heart condition and is not expected to live through the night. He just turned 41 a couple of days ago. Please be in prayer for my wife Kathie also. We cut off communications with her brothers about 8 or 9 years ago because they were constantly attacking us for our beliefs in Christ. They blamed us for their inability to by beer on Sundays among other things. I'm sure that she is feeling some remorse because she will not be able to say goodbye to him as we cannot afford to go to Charleston. We believe that he is not saved. Your prayers are our strength , God bless, Jay
I look at alot of profiles each day and have noticed that alot of profile pages still have the Layout Code pasted in the About Me section. Due to the recent site updates Layout Codes no longer work properly in the About Me section or any other sections on the Profile Settings page. The correct place for your code is the CSS box. This is very easy to fix and will make your page look much nicer. Simply click on Profile Settings, go to the About Me section (or wherever you pasted the code) highlight the code, right click, click COPY. Now look on the right side of the page and you will see box marked SETTINGS CENTER. Click on Profile Layout, scroll to the bottom of the page and you will see PROFLIE LAYOUT CODES - CSS ( Advanced Users ) Right click in this box , click PASTE. Now just click Save Profile Settings button under the CSS box and your page is fixed. If this does not fix your page or if you have any questions feel free to message me and I will be gald to help. God bless, Jay

mcdv1: Our dear, sweet Nichi was released from his physical pain 10:10 pm yesterday (July 24, 2007). We, his immediate family, were all there as he let out his last breath in peace. Nichi left his body that bore a smile on its face. He died in the bedroom where he used to sleep, just as he wished. We are confident that he will soon be in the arms of our Lord for Nichi had always been a very good boy. mcdv1: Msge I received from Nichi's family...
Just thought I would pass this along. Please be in prayer for his family.
Between the Pages little boy opened the big and old family Bible with fascination, and looked at the old pages as he turned them. Suddenly, something fell out of the Bible, and he picked it up and looked at it closely. It was an old leaf from a tree that had been pressed in between the pages. "Momma, look what I found," the boy called out. "What have you got there, dear?" his mother asked. With astonishment in the young boy's voice, he answered: "I think it's Adam's suit!"
For those of you that do not already know, I am the caretaker for a christian camp/retreat. I also live here with my family. About two weeks ago the group that was here had informed me that they would be using our ball field on Wednesday. I am trying to get it to seed in better so I put off cutting it as long as possible. It normally takes about 2 hours to cut the field, so I started on it about 6:30 am Wednesday morning. I wanted to be through before it got too hot. Well everything was going great until about 8:25 am. when the mower suddenly quit without warning. Seeing as how a tank of gas usually last about two hours in my mower, I immediately new what the problem was. I started grumbling right off the bat " 10 more minutes and I would have been finished. Why couldn't it last just 10 more minutes" I whined to myself as I walked back to the house for more gas, about a quarter of a mile. When I picked up the first gas can, it was empty, so was the next one. They were all empty. I grumbled some more as I got in the truck to drive the 11 or so miles to the gas station. "10 more minutes and I would have been through. Why couldn't it have lasted 10 more minutes" "I could've been through by now!" As I pumped the gas, I heard a strange loud noise. I looked up to see about eight people getting out of a Chevy Blazer. I could see that it had a dealer tag on it from a used car lot. They were all going to the front of the suv. As I leaned to look around the gas pumps it was evident what the noise was. The front left tire was leaning severely and something was laying on the ground under the suv. The ball joint had broken.
My first thoughts were, "Boy I sure am glad that's not me" "Dealer tag from a used car lot, probably not even paid off yet" Probably sold as is." Talk about your bad luck, they had it. As they all stood there looking at it, a little old lady leaned down, looked under the car and said "Yep, it's broke." That was the first thing that any of them said. The next thing caught me off guard. She said " Ain't God good !" All I had seen was a broke car. She ,however, had seen a gracious God. If the wheel had come off 5 minutes sooner, or 5 minutes later all of them might have been killed or severely injured in a wreck. God is good ! All the time ! Father forgive me my sins, and thank you for letting me run out of gas, at just the right time. "Ain't God good!" Amen Jay

Youth Sunday
This morning we had a special kind of service. Most of the adults were given the day of, and the youth led us. They taught us in sunday school, they were the choir, took up the offering, and other "duties" normaly handled by us adults. My 15 year old daughter, Jennifer, taught the preschool class. Jacob, my youngest at 14, helped his sister-in-law Felicia,21, teach 1st-3rd grade. Other youth were asigned to the remainder of the classes, young and old. This mornings service was also special in another way. It was started off this morning with baptisms. As the youth sat quietly in the choir loft, the curtain was opened to reveal our pastor. He opened in prayer, spoke a few words, then introduced my daughter-in-law, Felecia to be baptised. As she left the pool he turned and introduced mry eldest son, Jonathan age 22.(Felicia's husband) He spoke of how Jonathan had realised the baptism he had gone thru as a child was for the wrong reasons, and now here he was to get things right with God in his life and his families. I wathched beaming with pride as the words of Mathew 3:17 came to me. "This is my Son, in whom I am well pleased." I understand how he felt as I watched my own son respond in obedience to Him. After that Jennifer sang a beautiful solo. And Jacob read the morning scripture. And I felt the same pride. I believe each time one of His children is obedient or serves Him, He is just as pleased. And on this day, I am well pleased with all of my children.
