THE GREEN BIRD SAID TO THE WHITE BUNNY
IT'S A BEAUTIFUL SPRING DAY, WANNA PLAY?
SURE, SAID THE BUNNY,
YOU have made my day most sunny
CAN WE PLAY FOR THE REST OF THE DAY?
WHAT shall we experience together
Bunny, Continued...I've always wanted to FLY
BUT no, not I
I have no wings to soar in the sky
I was informed,flying is not something I can do.
BIRD REPLIED,May I ask, WHO in this world,misinformed YOU?
BUNNY CRIED; IT WAS Sneaky,
Do you know him, HE'S THE RAT.
Sneaky said THESE WORDS TO ME.
DON'T HANG OUT WITH THE GREEN BIRD,
You know the one who is always,
SINGING LIKE A NERD......
HE thinks he's special, he thinks he should be HEARD.........
FURTHERMORE, HE WILL FLY AWAY LEAVING YOU ALONE AND SCIRD!.......
BIRD PUFFED UP AND REPLIED;
DO YOU BELIEVE EVERYTHING THE RAT TELLS YOU?
I hate to say it, But I think HE LIED!
We choose to be wise when
We LISTEN TO our HEART
The rat has wrong motives
Right from the start
,
Bird whispered, AND DID YOU KNOW.....
HE is the ONLY ONE who.....well, who......
THINKS HE'S SMART.
(BUNNY REPEATED, as not to forget).....
LISTEN TO YOUR HEART,
LISTEN TO YOUR HEART!
I must tell you Mr.Bird, the truth is
I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO FLY
I HAVE A DREAM TO REACH THE SKY,
BUT I am sure you can see,
I wasn't BLESSED WITH GREEN WINGS
To lift me, Infact, I have no wings at all
AND ,oh bother,you can see,
I am oh so small.
BIRD lit up and retorted;
MY FRIEND, I CAN HELP,
I DO HAVE WINGS,
YOU do KNOW HOW TO HOP??????
COME ON..... HOP up,take a seat, Mr Lop
I WILL SHOW YOU THE WORLD FROM UP ABOVE...
why...... WE Might even see, Mr.SPIRIT
HE'S MY FRIEND, the gentle white DOVE.
BUNNY DID listened, he did just THAT, Atop Mr.Bird he comfortably sat,
HE hopped an enormous HOP
Which BOUNCED HIM UP ON top of BIRD'S BACK
The world looked different to him already!
He said,with excitement,
Would you take a look at that!
HE SOON FOUND THE FREEDOM HE LONGED FOR
AS THEY ROSE high up against the air,

Bunny took notice as;
THEY FLEW RIGHT PAST, SNEAKY, The ill-humored RAT
BUNNY, HELD ON tight,
He MANAGED a friendly WAVE,
Poor rat,he just doesn't understand,
How to behave.
SNEAKY THE RAT had thoughts racing through his mind,
he dared not speak,
THESE WERE THE SECRETS
HE sought TO KEEP....
IF I HAD A FRIEND.... I COULD FLY LIKE THAT!
i despise myself, i hate being a rat!
Now, do tell,how sad is that?
HE scratched his head,threw his hat,
Frustrated,he coughed and he spat,
Trust me, you didn't want to see that!
THE MORAL OF THE STORY is simple;
Love yourself so you can love others,
SHARE your wings,
SHARE all your things!
MANY TIMES WE can't fly ALONE,
We need encouragement when far from home.
THE TRUTH IS; TOGETHER, WE CAN FLY,
TOGETHER WE CAN TOUCH THE SKY.
Look UP ABOVE,
Find the gentle white DOVE,
He can show you how to love.
A TRUE FRIEND WILL SHARE THEIR GIFTS
They WILL delight to GIVE YOUR SPIRIT A LIFT.
REMEMBER,You have gifts to share TOO.
THERE WILL BE RATS WHO ENVY YOU,
Wave to them from afar,
As you reach to touch that star!
You will find it is not too far.
Most IMPORTANT ALWAYS REMEMBER
I love YOU!

I just wanted to share this with all of you. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your prayers. I am crying tears of joy now!!! Enclosed is an email from my daughter re: Honnalee, she is our grand daughter that many have been praying for over the past couple years.
We have great news! We saw Dr. Hijazi (Honnalee's Cardiologist) in Chicago today, and her heart is the same size it was last year. However, since she has clearly grown, her heart to body ratio has decreased. The problem last year was that her heart was growing too large for her little body. So, he said we can wait another year (we'll go back around her 4th birthday) to see how things are. If her ratio stays the same, or continues to decrease, she could live a normal healthy life without surgery. He even said she could compete in the Olympics if she wanted to! :) AND! More good news! If for some reason she does need surgery, our options last year were open-heart surgery in the States, or a catheter closure overseas (the device is not yet approved by the FDA). This year, the FDA approved another device, not used to close a "Classic VSD" - however, Honnalee's VSD is not "Classic" (?), she has a pouch around her hole, which would mean the device just approved would be a better match for her! She could have a catheter closure here in the US, that could be covered by our insurance, and she would be in the hospital for only a day! This is such a relief to us. Now we don't have to decide between putting our child through open-heart, or coming up with the $30,000 plus to take her overseas! Thank God! One more thing! We went for Honnalee's observation night at Montesorri school last night (she LOVED it!), and got a call from them this afternoon, saying she DEFINITELY has a spot for the May/June openings! We are thrilled! This morning when we woke her up to leave for Chicago she asked "Mom! Is it my first day of school???" Poor thing, she just can't wait! :) So, over all, it was a fantastic day of good news for us! We are thrilled, and wish to thank all of you for your love, support and prayers during these almost three years of unknowing. Phew. I can breathe now! :)
I am so in love with HIM Where should I begin.... He came to earth to set us free... Unconditional love for you and me. He was born a helpless child so small, needy and mild...... He grew into a man with no sin He was young when his ministry began.... He told stories so we could understand. We can be healed by the touch of his hand.... HE desires for all man to turn toward HIM
We need his direction for new life to begin. All these desires we have on earth, Will not deliver us through new birth........ Jesus died to set us free He gave HIS life for you and me. He wants to be your best friend, Walk with you in heaven...
At your times end. Come to him with your broken heart, He wants to give you a new start. He wants to comfort you, No sin too great, HE will make your way straight. Give your life to HIM,
He will free you from death and sin!

Today I am thankful for so much, Even though I don't always feel your touch, Even when feeling rejected and lonely..... I give my heart to you and you ONLY.... You are a God of Love, This love unconditional... I've learned this love is not traditional! It seems on earth we have to earn approval, but your love is for ALL with no removal!!! Thank you for this great love, Thank you for sending your son to this earth.... He lives in our hearts and gives us new birth..... Please, allow us to love like him......so that all will love and turn from sin. You are all we need, We learn your truth when your word we read....
