God formed a covenant with Israel at Mount Sinai. He demanded total devotion. The Ten Commandments gave us timeless truths and clear moral standards.
Exodus 17:8-18:27, The Amalekites, descendants from Esau, hated the Israelites. After Moses led the victory against this enemy, he was visited by his father-in-law. The two helped each other: Jethro gave Moses wise advice about delegating responsibility, and Moses told Jethro about God's faithful care of the Israelites.
Moses showed several qualities of a good leader. He relied on God and gave Him credit for victory. Moses also accepted help, was teachable, and kept his priorities straight. He learned to delegate responsibility and trusted others to lead.
Ask God to help you be a willing team player
Exodus 19:1-25, After God rescued the Israelites from the Egyptians, He lead them into the Sinai Desert. Only God was able to keep them alive. He fed them and took care of them. Then God called for a huge prayer meeting, where He would come down to Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people. When they needed Him the most, God revealed His presence.
Let go and Let God. Witness His power. He will come through for you, if you let Him.
Excerpt from My Utmost for His Highest by Oswald Chambers: "Sometimes we wish He would make us be obedient, and at other times we wish He would leave us alone. Whenever God's will is in complete control, He removes all pressure. And when we deliberately choose to obey Him, He will reach to the remotest star and to the ends of the earth to assist us with all of His mighty power."
More laws from God were given to the Israelites: deceit, injury, slavery, robbery, property, immorality, and religion.
Why all these laws? So the moral life of His people would be pleasing to Him.
Max Lucado is one of today's favorite Christian authors. He is described as a preacher who writes and a writer who preaches. He describes The Book of Proverbs as this in The Inspirational Study Bible:
"Proverbs is a collection of lamps. Not spotlights that blind. Not bonfires that blaze. But lamps. Lamps that do for our heart what the lamps in your house do for your eyes. They chase away the darkness.
"The commandment is a lamp," wrote Solomon, "and the law a light; reproofs of instruction are the way of life"(6:23).
Reading Proverbs turns on the lamps in the dark corners of life.
Corners such as: Foolishness. Wisdom. Pride. Humility. Fear. Insecurity. Wealth. Mercy. Lust. Diligence. Laziness. Prudence. Anger. Flattery. Gossip. Violence.
And that's just a start
Having trouble with an enemy? Turn on the lamp of patience: "A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger (15:1).
Having trouble with greed? Flip the switch of prudence: "Better is a life with the fear of the Lord, than great treasure with trouble (15:16).
Anxious about tomorrow? Sit under the light of trust: "Commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established (16:3).
See what I mean? Time spent with Proverbs makes a heart wise. It's a practical guide for getting along with others. Whereas Psalms tells you how to get along with God, Proverbs tells you how to get along with people. Whereas Psalms is a book for Sunday, Proverbs is a book for Monday.
Why don't you flip a on a few lights and see for yourself?"
Proverbs 3:1-35:
God promises to guide those who obey and trust Him. Those who obey must actively explore God's Word.
Depend on God in every part of your life, and He will guide, protect, and comfort you.
In the book, "Pleasing God" by R.C. Sproul, he reflects back on his salvation. "when I first became a Christian I was introduced to the priorities of the Christian community. I learned quickly that it was expected of me that I have a daily devotion time, a time reserved for Bible reading and prayer. I was expected to go to church. I was expected to have a kind of piety that was evident by not cursing, not drinking, not smoking, and the like. I had no idea that biblical righteousness went far beyond these things
.
Soon, however, I found that there was more to the Christian life than daily devotions and sanctified words. I realized that God wanted more. He wanted me to grow in my faith and obedience, to go beyond milk to meat. I also discovered that Christian jargon was an almost meaningless form of communication, both to non-Christians and Christians alike. I found myself more interested in echoing a subculture's lingo than in finding true godliness.
My error was this: I was confusing spirituality with righteousness. I also discovered that I was not alone in this. I was caught up with a crowd who confused the means with the end. Spirituality can be a cheap substitute for righteousness
.
Righteousness has rules, but it is more than rules. If we care for rules without caring for people, we have missed the goal of righteousness. The scriptural rule come from God precisely because He cares about people.
We need rules to be righteous, but they must be the right rules. They must be God's rules. We may accept no substitutes. In God's Word we find adequate rules for pleasing God with a righteous life. And if we abide by those rules, we are not goal-less fanatics, but true children of the King."
New Testament 1st and 2nd COMMANDMENTS:
Scripture Memory:
Matthew 22:37 "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul and with all thy mind."
Matthew 22:39 "Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself." First found in Leviticus 19:18
For the believer, these replaced previous commandments and with loving God and others all else falls into place
II Corinthians Examine yourself: 13:5,6

"More to this than Just
The Street Bum"
Author Unknown
"One night at a small church in Atlanta, Georgia, a man shared how he had become a Christian while in Sydney, Australia. "I was at the street corner in Kings Cross," the man began, "when I felt a tug on my sleeve. Turning, I found myself face to face with a street bum. Before I could say anything, the man simply asked me, Mister, if you were to die tonight, where would you spend eternity?' That question troubled me over the next three weeks," the man continued. "I had to find an answer, and I ended up giving my life to Christ.
"The pastor of the Atlanta church was amazed that a man on a street corner could have such an impact. But imagine his amazement when, three years later, another man came to his church and gave an almost identical testimony. He, too, had been at Kings Cross in Sydney when a derelict had pulled on his sleeve and then asked him, "If you were to die tonight, where would you spend eternity?" This second man, also haunted by the street bum's question, eventually sought and found an answer in Jesus.
Shortly after hearing the second testimony, the pastor of that small church in Atlanta had to be in Sydney for a missions conference. On one of his nights off, he went to Kings Cross to see if he could find the man who had been mentioned at his church by two different people. Pausing on a street corner to look for someone like the street bum he'd heard about, he felt a tug at his jacket. He turned, and before the poor old man could say anything, the pastor blurted out, "I know what you're going to ask me! You're going to ask me if I were to die tonight, where would I spend eternity?" The man was stunned. "How did you know that?" he inquired. The pastor told him the whole story. When he finished, the man started to cry."Mister," he said, "10 years ago I gave my life to Jesus, and I wanted to do something for him. But a man like me can't do much of anything, so I decided I would just hang out on this corner and ask people that simple question. I've been doing that for years, mister, but tonight is the first time I ever knew it did anybody any good."
God calls us not to be successful, but to be faithful. We need to obey God even though we can't see whether it does any good. When you share Christ with someone, for instance, or when you help a person in need, you aren't responsible for the outcome. It's God's job to form us into what we can be in Christ. On the other side of things, be careful not to judge others for what they are doing in the Kingdom of God, even when it seems foolish or unproductive. God uses all kinds of ministry in many different ways in order to fulfill his purposes. Just because you don't get the point of a particular ministry doesn't mean it's wrong or worthless."
"Just Some Homeless Guy"
Author Unknown
"It was a cold winter's day that Sunday. The parking lot to the church was filling up quickly. I noticed as I got out of my car that fellow church members were whispering among themselves as they walked to the church. As I got closer I saw a man leaned up against the wall outside the church. He was almost lying down as if he was asleep. He had on a long trench coat that was almost in shreds and a hat topped his head, pulled down so you could not see his face. He wore shoes that looked 30 years old, too small for his feet with holes all over them, his toes stuck out. I assumed this man was homeless, and asleep, so I walked on by through the doors of the church.
We all had fellowship for a few minutes, and someone brought up the man lying outside. People snickered and gossiped but no one bothered to ask him to come in, including me. A few moments later church began. We all waited for the Preacher to take his place and to give us the Word, when the doors to the church opened. In came the homeless man walking down the aisle with his head down. People gasped and whispered and made faces. He made his way down the aisle and up onto the pulpit. He took off his hat and coat.
My heart sank. There stood our preacher...HE was the "homeless man." No one said a word. The preacher took his Bible and laid it on the stand. "Folks, I don't think I have to tell you what I am preaching about today." Then he started singing the words to this song:
"If I can help somebody as I pass along. If I can
cheer somebody with a word or song. If I can show
somebody that he's traveling wrong. Then my living
shall not be in vain."
Justice - When you get what you deserve
Mercy - When you don't get what you deserve
Grace - When you get what you don't deserve"
Lesson:
Future and Hope
Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the thoughts I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope".
No Respecter of Person
Acts 10:34, 35 "Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that heareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him."
Romans 10, 11 "But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: For there is no respect of persons with God"
Psalms 51 (prayer of repentance)
The God of all creation is a God of love and everything He's made is good and gives us happiness. He does not hide from us, even though we can't see Him; He has revealed Himself everywhere in the Heavenlies, the marvels of the earth. Look at our bodies the marvels of its workings. You can't tell me or make me believe that this wonder has evolved from a one-celled creature! Do you know Darwin denounced his theories before dying, basically saying that there must be a higher power to have created all of this?
Scripture Memory:
In Matthew 9:13, Jesus says, "For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance."
There is the lost who never knew, once knew, or refuse to know:
That their most valued possession is their soul.
Matthew 16:26 says, "For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?"
For we are subject to the Lord's judgment seat. And there, we will be without excuse
o Hebrews 9:27
o Romans 14:10, 12
Excuses of the lost:
"I lived a good life" Romans 3:12, 23; Isaiah 64:6
"I couldn't be saved; I was too bad" Matthew 9:13; 1Tim 1:15
"Too many hypocrites in the church" Romans 14:12
"I couldn't have lived it (walked the Walk)" Phil 4:13;
"I was working at it; I went to church; paid my debts; I never hurt anyone" Eph 2:8,9; Titus 3:5
I was going to get saved but had things to straighten out first" Pro 27:1; 2Cor 6:2; 1John 1:9
The Backslider: once followed Jesus and then returned to darkness (sin) and needs God's forgiveness, forgiveness of his brother, and forgiveness of themselves
But
God is of great mercy. We cannot fathom how deep God's mercy goes. King David committed adultery and murder but truly repented and confessed to God that he would be subject to the Law (Gal 5:19-21).
Jeremiah 3:22 says, "Return, ye backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings."
Isa 55:7 says, "Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return unto the Lord, and He will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon."
2Peter 3:9 says, "The Lord is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."
2 Chronicles 7:14
Hosea 14:4
Philippians 3:13, 14
John 8:11
The main causes for backsliding are:
Lack of spiritual insight and true commitment
Neglect of daily Bible reading, prayer and fellowship with other believers
Love of money and worldly pleasures
Corruption from evil companions
GOD IS A GOD OF U-TURNS!
God restores, but some feel they cannot be restored because of Hebrews 6:4. This applies to a person who refuses to return after God has "laid a stumbling block before him," (to get his attention Eze. 3:20) and allowed a sufficient time for repentance.
Prov 29:1
2Pet 2:20
Matthew 12:43-45
THE FORGOTTEN
Who are the forgotten?
2Tim 3:1-4 says: "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God."
People who are like this, are not usually regarded by the righteous. These people are forgotten.
Those in nursing homes, retirement homes, hospitals, senior citizen housing, low-no income housing, convalescent centers are considered by some in society as undesirables. These people are forgotten.
Those is oppressed countries such as Haiti, Brazil, India, Pakistan, Nicaragua, and the continent of Africa are remote to us, but missionaries have been purposed to go in and help with the people's needs and then are able to preach the gospel to them, but there are still more.
God gave us two commandments after the Final Atonement of our Sin, Jesus Christ, came to the earth:
Matthew 22:37 " Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul and with all thy mind."
The Lord gives us the 2nd commandment:
Matthew 22:39 "Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself."
For it is with these commandments that we can love the forgotten and those who society considers undesirables. Pray for the sick, pray for the needy, pray for the lonely, broken, twisted, and hungry. Give to the sick, give to the needy, give to the lonely, give to the broken, the twisted, and the hungry.

" The Lord's Prayer (with a different perspective)
"Our Father which art in heaven....."
---Yes?
Don't interrupt me. I'm praying.
---But you called me.
Called you? I didn't call you. I'm praying.
"Our Father which art in heaven....."
---There you did it again.
Did What?
---Called me. You said, "Our Father which art in heaven."
Here I am.....What's on your mind?
But I didn't mean anything by it. I was, you know, just
saying my prayers for the day. I always say the Lord's Prayer.
It makes me feel good, kind of like getting a duty done.
---All right. Go on.
"Hallowed be thy name....."
---Hold it. What do you mean by that?
By what?
---By "hallowed be thy name"?
It means.....it means.....Good grief, I don't know what it means.
How should I know? It's just a part of the prayer. By the way, what does it mean?
---It means honored, holy, wonderful.
Hey, that makes sense. I never thought about what "hallowed"
meant before."Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven."
---Do you really mean that?
Sure, why not?
---What are you doing about it?
Doing? Nothing, I guess. I just think it would be kind of
neat if you got control of everything down here like you
have up there.
---Have I got control of you?
Well, I go to church.
---That isn't what I asked you. What about your bad temper?
You've really got a problem there, you know. And then there's the way you spend your money---all on yourself. And what about the kind of books you read?
Stop picking on me! I'm just as good as some of the rest of
those people at the church.
---Excuse me. I thought you were praying for my will to be done.
If that is to happen, it will have to start with the ones who are praying for it. Like you, for example.
Oh, all right. I guess I do have some hang-ups. Now that you
mention it, I could probably name some others.
---So could I.
I haven't thought about it very much until now, but I really
would like to cut out some of those things. I would like to,
you know, be really free.
---Good. Now we're getting somewhere. We'll work together,
you and I. Some victories can truly be won. I'm proud of you.
Look, Lord, I need to finish up here. This is taking a lot
longer than it usually does. "Give us this day, our daily bread."
---You need to cut out the bread. You're overweight as it is.
Hey, wait a minute! What is this, "Criticize me day"? Here I
was doing my religious duty, and all of a sudden you break in and remind me of all my hang-ups.
---Praying is a dangerous thing. You could wind up changed,
you know. That's what I'm trying to get across to you.
You called me, and here I am. It's too late to stop now.
Keep praying, I'm interested in the next part of your prayer
.....(pause). Well, go on.
I'm scared too.
---Scared? Of what?
I know what you'll say.
---Try me and see.
"Forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us."
---What about Ann?
See? I knew it! I knew you would bring her up! Why Lord,
she's told lies about me, spread stories about my family.
She never paid back the debt she owes me. I've sworn to
get even with her!
---But your prayer? What about your prayer?
I didn't mean it.
---Well, at least you're honest. But it's not much fun
carrying that load of bitterness around inside, is it?
No. But I'll feel better as soon as I get even. Boy, have I
got some plans for that neighbor. She'll wish she had never
moved into this neighborhood.
---You won't feel any better. You'll feel worse.
Revenge isn't sweet. Think of how unhappy you already are.
But I can change all that.
You can? How?
---Forgive Ann. Then I'll forgive you. Then the hate and
sin will be Ann's problem and not yours. You will have
settled your heart.
Oh, you're right. You always are. And more than I want to
revenge Ann, I want to be right with you. Ann, I want to
be right with you.....(pause).....(sigh).
All right. All right. I forgive her. Help her to find the
right road in life, Lord. She's bound to be awfully miserable now that I think about it. Anybody who goes around doing the things she does to others has to be out of it. Someway, somehow, show her the right way.
---There now! Wonderful! How do you feel?
Hmmmmmm. Well, not bad. Not bad at all. In fact, I feel
pretty great! You know, I don't think I'll have to go to
bed uptight tonight for the first time since I can remember.
Maybe I won't be so tired from now on because I'm not getting enough rest.
---You're not through with your prayer. Go on.
Oh, all right. "And lead us not into temptation, but deliver
us from evil."
---Good! Good! I'll do that. Just don't put yourself in a
place where you can be tempted.
What do you mean by that?
---Don't turn on the TV when you know the laundry needs to be done and the house needs to be picked up. Also, about the time you spend chaffing with your friends, if you can't influence the conversation to positive things, perhaps you should re-think the value of those friendships. Another thing, your neighbors and friends shouldn't be your standard for "keeping up". And please don't use me for an escape hatch.
I don't understand the last part.
---Sure you do. You've done it a lot of times. You get caught in a bad situation. You get into trouble and then you come running to me, "Lord, help me out of this mess, and I promise you I'll never do it again." You remember some of those bargains you tried to make with me?
Yes and I'm ashamed, Lord. I really am.
---Which bargain are you remembering?
Well, there was the night that Bill was gone and the children and I were home alone. The wind was blowing so hard I thought the roof would go any minute and tornado warnings were out.
I remember praying, "Oh God, if you spare us, I'll never skip my devotions again."
---I protected you, but you didn't keep your promise, did you?
I'm sorry, Lord, I really am. Up until now I thought that if I just prayed the Lord's Prayer every day, then I could do what I liked. I didn't expect anything to happen like it did.
---Go ahead and finish your prayer.
"For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever."
Amen
---Do you know what would bring me glory? What would really make me happy?
No, but I'd like to know. I want now to please you. I can see what a mess I've made of my life. And I can see how great it would be to really be one of you followers.
---You just answered the question.
I did?
---Yes. The thing that would bring me glory is to have people like you TRULY love me. And I see that happening between us.
Now that some of these old sins are exposed and out of the way, well, there is no telling what we can do together.
Lord, let's see what we can make of me, O.K.?
---Yes, let's see...."

BORN AGAIN: Tuesday, August 23, 1994 at 1:30 am.
Baptised: Thursday, August 26, 1994 at 7:30 pm.
Hello, Saints!
It's good to be in a place where there's a lot of love exuding. God wouldn't put us somewhere that would taint the anointing. Agree?
My husband, Bob has 2 children, Margo and Rusty and I have 1 son, Greg. We have 2 1/2 grandchildren, 4 other children with 2 grandchildren from osmosis (that we raised) and we are empty nesters now.
My birthday was Tuesday, August 23, 1994 at 1:30 am. I was baptised Thursday, August 25, 1994 at 7:30 pm. I received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost shortly thereafter, and was commissioned on Saturday, September 24, 1994 at 9:00 am through Isaiah 6 (it really happened....). Received the outward evidence of tongues in November 1995 at a revival in Columbus.
My greatest joy from the Lord was: He waited for me. Even as I write this, tears of unfathomable gratitude to Him fill me and my Spirit.
My mother and grandmother were raised in the Methodist Church. As a youngster, I attended Sunday school with my sister occasionally at the Methodist church and Church of Christ in Christian Union. My family offended when me and my sister had German measles and the Sunday school teacher told us, when we returned, "If you can't be here every Sunday, then don't come at all!" We never went back.
In 1982 as a divorced parent raising my son, one Sunday we hopped on the Baptist Sunday schoolbus and I was saved and was to be baptised that evening. I wanted to make sure my son knew God, too. The lay ministers there asked if my parents were saved and I said that I didn't know. They said that if they didn't get saved, they will burn in hell! I said that God wouldn't let my parents burn in hell. I never went back.
Throughout my life of sin, God was there. I only though, first knew this when He kept me from dying several times - drugs, alcohol, promiscuity. I was a heathen. And then one day, I asked Him if He was really there and He gave me a sign. I continued to live in sin, and then one day in June of 1994, I said 3 words - "Lord, I'm lonely."
I wasn't looking for a man in my life. I vowed to myself that I wasn't going to get married again or date because I couldn't pick them. A month later, on Tuesday, July 5, 1994, I talked to Bob in the library. We had gone to high school together and had seen each other on occasion at band reunions. It was his birthday.
I wanted what Bob had. Problems rolled off his back like oil on ducks' feathers. He laughed a lot and made me laugh, too. He was kind, respectful and a gentleman. I said, "What is that you have?" He said, "I'm a Christian." I said, "What's a Christian?" He said, "Jesus is my Savior." He explained to me about salvation and at 1:30 am on August 23rd, that's when I called him on the phone, bawling, needing Jesus. He lead me to the Lord. A month later, I was supernaturally delivered from niccotine. I had stopped drinking before Bob and I met. I stopped cussing.
We were married Thursday, November 10, 1994 at 7:30 pm at His Indwelling Spirit Ministries.
God doesn't look back at my past and neither do I, but He will use me and my past to minister to others. I love to tell how God orchestrated Bob and I meeting, courting, and marrying. There are many looking for love in all the wrong places. He just proved to me, that when I say "Never", well, that He's got a different agenda....
I will not forsake Him. No devil can separate me from my Father's love nor my love for Him. There's been times in my younger Christian days when I wasn't protected and the enemy crept in, but with the instruction I've received, I knew immediately how to get back on the straight and narrow path. HELP! PRAY! PLEAD THE BLOOD! REPENT! BE FORGIVEN! FORGIVE YOURSELF! FORGIVE OTHERS! GO ON!
Gee, I kinda' got long-winded there! My apologies. So much more happened and has happened. Let me hear from you some of your testimonies.
You can read some of the ministries' testimonies at Testify
btw...my dad got saved, my mother received assurance as she was saved, my younger sister and her whole family got saved. Pray for Marilyn, my older sister as she is into the occult (Prayer for Marilyn).

Hello, everyone.
Thought it was time for me to put down my testimony for y'all to read. I've got a lot of them, but the one that allows me to even be here goes like this:
I am a PK. We grew up in a God-centered home. We went through all the phases like being delivered of having a Haunted House on our homestead for Halloween breaking curses against the family, etc.
I was slowly walking away from the Lord. You know (which some may and some may not!) when you decide one Sunday you're not going to service, then another, and another, and another, til you don't go at all and you're not even under conviction. This all took place in 1984.
I worked for my dad's company as a young adult and on January 3rd, 1985, three days after I rededicated my life back to the Lord, I fell. I fell 37 feet!
I was a commercial sprinkler fitter. Been in the trade for a long time. I was on a job at, get this, the Ohio Worker's Compensation building and it was pretty much completed, but a sprinkler head in the lobby needed moved. It was on a wall next to the top of the stairway. But it was about 3 feet from the stairway. I rigged up the ladder with one of our employees and got up to the top of the ladder and was working on this sprinkler head.
I reached behind to my back pocket where my channel locks were, but I began to slide. I knew I was going to fall. Below me was unfinished stairs - concrete stairs that had steel bars protruding upwards like spikes. Off to the side was laying board. I made a split decision to push off the wall to miss the stairs and hit the board instead. I missed and landed partially on the board and the stairs, breaking my right leg in 7 places and blowing a pressure point out in my left leg.
As I was laying on my stomach screaming, I heard someone praying. I looked up and there was an old high schoolmate of mine. He was Randy Skaggs. Randy was a druggie, a hood. I didn't associate with him, but I knew of him. He was a classmate. I said, "Randy, is that you?" He said, "Yes, Bob. What do you need?" I said, "I need Jesus to take the pain away." So I asked, and he prayed and the Lord took the pain away. The building contractor ran up to me and asked me what I needed but then started naming things off. He said, "Do you need a cigarette?" I said, "No, I don't smoke." He said, "Do you need a drink of whiskey?" I said, "No, I don't drink." He said, "Do you need a Bible?" I said, "No, but that would be great, but I do need you to call first my father and tell him what's happened. Call the Christian TV station, WSFJ, and put me on the prayerline. Call an ambulance (which had been done) and tell my crew to get to work 'cause we're 3 weeks behind schedule!"
Intercessors were at the TV station 24-7, and when the call came in, my brother-in-law's mother happened to be at the station working on their program. One of the ladies who was praying said that she saw a man fall and described him. Sister Lois said to her that it was her daughter-in-law's brother, Bob Elliott!
Dad was at the job site a couple days later to check on things and a guy came up to him and said, "Are you that boy's father that fell?" He said that he was. The man continued to explain to him that he knew he was going to fall, but the weirdest thing happened. He said that his boy was falling head first and in a split second in the middle of descent, it was as if someone grabbed him by the back of the neck and turned him right-side up! That is was a miracle he saw because he would have died in that fall.
I, to this day, cannot thank my Savior, my Shephard, for leading me back to Him when I strayed and for the angels watching over me. People, you never know. Be ready in Christ, for with Him, you have eternal life in Heaven.
JOHN 3:16 says, "For God (Our Heavenly Father)so loved the world (that's you and me) that He gave His only begotten Son (Jesus Christ); that whosoever (that can be you if you don't know Him!) believeth in Him shall not perish (die and go to hell) but have everlasting (eternal; forever) life (in Heaven)."
Jesus said: "I Am the door, by Me if any man enter in, he shall be saved...come into Me...and I will give you rest." John 10:9
Isaiah 40:31 - "But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. "
