&nb sp; Imagine Me &nb sp; &nb sp; &nb sp; © G. Perryman , T. Massey 2004 &nb sp; I've always had a sense, &nb sp; That You held my life as it began &nb sp; A closeness, understood &nb sp; Yet never described to anyone &nb sp; An inner peace that's questionless &nb sp; A comfort from all harm, &nb sp; Assurance that I've grown to know, &nb sp; And trust through every storm
But as my life grew strong, I tossed Your love about &nb sp; Yet even still I know at times, was You who bailed me out So am I the same to You, as when I knew no wrong &nb sp; Could I lean as I once did, though it's been so very long &nb sp; If I reach out, &nb sp; will You take my hand &nb sp; Will I find the strength I need &nb sp; To be more than I am &nb sp; Will You hear me call Your name &nb sp; Will all my faith remain, If no answer came &nb sp; When I think back now, to when I was so very young &nb sp; Could I've imagined You, and all I've had You become But the truth is plain to see, more proof could there never be &nb sp; For right here in Your very words , You first Imagined me &nb sp; &nb sp; When I reach out, and I take Your hand &nb sp; You build a fire in me, to see this battle's end &nb sp; You hear me call your name &nb sp; the Lord of always still remains. &nb sp; &nb sp; And You Love Me, yes You love me &nb sp; &nb sp; &nb sp; &nb sp; Just the same.
T'was the night before Christmas and all through the town Not a sign of Baby Jesus was anywhere to be found. The people were all busy with Christmas time chores Like decorating, and baking and shopping in stores. No one sang "Away in a manger, no crib for a bed". Instead, they sang of Santa dressed-up in bright red. Mama watched Martha Stewart, Papa drank beer from a tap. As hour upon hour the presents they'd wrap When what from the TV did they suddenly hear? 'Cept an ad...which told of a big sale at Sears. So away to the mall they all flew like a flash... Buying things on credit... and others with cash! And, as they made their way home From their trip to the mall, Did they think about Jesus? Oh, no....not at all. Their lives were so busy with their Christmas time things No time to remember Christ Jesus, the King. There were presents to wrap and cookies to bake. How could they stop and remember who died for their sake? To pray to the Savior... they had no time to stop. Because they needed more time to "Shop til they dropped!" On Wal-Mart! On K-Mart! On Target! On Penney's! On Hallmark! On Zales! A quick lunch at Denny's From the big stores downtown to the stores at the mall They would dash away, dash away and visit them all! And up on the roof, there arose such a clatter As grandpa hung icicle lights up on his brand new step ladder, He hung lights that would flash. He hung lights that would twirl. Yet, he NEVER once prayed to Jesus... The Light of the World. Christ's eyes....how they twinkle! Christ's Spirit...how merry! Christ's love...how enormous! All our burdens...He' ll carry! So instead of being busy, overworked, and uptight Let's put Christ back in Christmas and enjoy some good nights!
Thanks to Thee For hands that reach and touch our own, For baby's laughter in our home, For shoulders that in grief are loaned, Dear Lord, we give You thanks.
For lips that brave the tender words, For eyes that speak what can't be heard, For God's own precious Holy Word, Dear Lord, we give You thanks. We give you thanks oh Lord &nb sp; so gratefuly for everything we can & things we cannot see You paid my debt, and died for me For all of this and more Thanks to Thee For open doors and welcomings, For friends who laugh and sometimes sing, For everything each season brings, Dear Lord, we give You thanks.
For large or small, the gifts You give, For just the privilege to live, For all we've had and yet You give, Dear Lord, we give You thanks. We give you thanks oh Lord &nb sp; so gratefuly for everything we can & things we cannot see You paid my debt, and died for me
For all of this and more Thanks to Thee For promises that soon shall be, Because He hung upon the tree, For Love that lasts eternally, Most of all, Lord, thanks, oh, thanks to Thee!

I wrote this song when I didn't know if I would ever see my little girl again. Kaiya © 1980 G. Perryman/BMI/Daby Music
You know I'll never see you smile again And I'll never hear you cry
You know I'll always wonder where you've been And I'll think of you and sigh
But you'll never know me will ya babe or ever understand No you'll never know me will ya babe or love this lonesome man
I know you'll hear a story now and then I hope they all aren't too bad
You know I had the best intentions when Things just turned out so sad
But you'll never know me will ya babe or ever understand No you'll never know me will ya babe or love this lonesome man
But I know I'll always love you even though you don't know my name And I know it's so unfair to you But Kaiya Love Me Just The same
Oh Kaiya love me, Oh Kaiya love me Oh kaiya love me just the same
You know I'll never see you smile again But I did & she is now very much in my life and has given me a wonderful grandson. Praise be to God! You can hear this song at http://www.myspace.com/thecharburgers
"Does Anybody Hear Her" © Mark Hall 2005 She is running A hundred miles an hour in the wrong direction She is trying But the canyon's ever widening In the depths of her cold heart So she sets out on another misadventure just to find She's another two years older And she's three more steps behind (CHORUS) Does anybody hear her? Can anybody see? Or does anybody even know she's going down today Under the shadow of our steeple With all the lost and lonely people Searching for the hope that's tucked away in you and me Does anybody hear her? Can anybody see?
She is yearning For shelter and affection That she never found at home She is searching For a hero to ride in To ride in and save the day And in walks her prince charming And he knows just what to say Momentary lapse of reason And she gives herself away Chorus If judgment looms under every steeple If lofty glances from lofty people Can't see past her scarlet letter And we've never even met her Chorus X2 He is running A hundred miles an hour in the wrong direction To Hear MP3 http://www.thecharburgers.com/id53.html
"Song For You" G. Perryman/2005 Quiet is the morning, as I set alone. No hint yet of the clamor, that soon will be full-blown. My mind still sorting dreams, and truths, what's needed for the day. When somehow to my attention came a picture of your face . First I smiled almost at you, as if you were really here, then with a tear came sorrow, though it's now been several years. I miss you more than ever, ' think of you all the time, I talk as if you hear me, I keep you because you're mine. God tells me that you're safe now, and all the pain has gone away, there's no more earthly boundaries, It's now a brighter day. So now I must get ready, for there's always much to do, but know until forever......... I'll always remember You.
