How to join in our LIVE shows

 

Getting involved in one of our LIVE shows at Talkshoe.com can seem a little intimidating, but it isn't as difficult as it might first appear. Here is a quick guide to getting setup, so you can join us week after week.

While there a few steps below, all of them are easy. If you have any questions, you can use the Comments link below or email me directly at techiq@welchwrite.com. So, ready? Hear we go. Remember, you only need to perform these setup steps once.

1. Get a FREE TalkShoe account and PIN #

Visit http://talkshoe.com
Click Sign Up button in upper right-hand corner
Complete the form to create your login user id and password for Talkshoe
Create PIN #
This is what you use to connect over the telephone to join the conversation LIVE
Click Download the Talkshoe software
This is the software that allows you to listen to the LIVE stream (if not calling in by phone) and chat with other listeners in the chat room)
Install the Talkshoe software on your computer.

2. Calling in via telephone of cell phone

Now that you have your Talkshoe PIN number, you can use any telephone to call into a show and talk LIVE. Many people have free long distance on their cell phones, so they simply call (724) 444-7444, then enter the TalkShoe ID for the particular show (found on the TalkShow web pages) and their individual PIN #. This lets the host know who you are in the online chat so they know you are listening and can call on you.

If you don't have free long distance, you can use a free VOIP (voice over IP client) to access the conference by phone.

3. Calling in via your computer

If you are using your computer to call in to a TalkShoe show, headphones are suggested. You can use the microphone built-into your computer or laptop, but headphones help to keep an annoying echo out of the phone call.

My favorite free software to use with TalkShow is Gizmo (http://gizmoproject.com). Gizmo allows you to connect directly into the TalkShoe phone system for FREE.,

Click Download Now! to get the Gizmo software and install it on your computer. When you run Gizmo the first time, it gives you the option to "Register a New Account Name" Do this and you are ready to go.

When you are ready to call into a TalkShoe conference, click in the phone number field of the Gizmo client (with the small black phone icon) and enter "sip:1234@66.212.134.192" without the quotes. Click the green telephone handset, just to the right of that.

After a few seconds, you will hear the TalkShoe system asking for the Talkcast ID for the show you are calling and then your PIN number. In the lower rleft-hand corner of the Gizmo Software, you will see a small telephone keypad icon. When you click this, a keypad will popup to allow you enter this information.

Once you are successful in entering the Talkcast ID and your PIN number, you will join the Talkcast LIVE. You voice may be muted initially, as the host does that to keep noise down in the call.

Once you have set up TalkShoe and Gizmo, you can participate in any show, using the TalkShoe for the online and Gizmo for your telephone call.

hello friends and welcome back to my profile.My name is chris and if you havent yet read the first part of my testimony please read it first its in a blog called foggys testimony 1, and then come back to read this,because this is the second part of it. thank you..

 

Now since you have read the first part of my testimony I want to take the time now and post the second part of what I believe god was telling me through the flashing red light the heat and the2 distictly different voices ect...

FLASHING STOP LIGHTS AND GAS STATIONS:

First off, All of humanity has sinned against GOD whether they believe it or not.but GOD always provides away out from that sin,A flashing red light if you will reminding us thats what we are doing is a sin and we should stop what we are doing. he speaks to our hearts and minds, directly to our conscience,But it seems we tend to ignore the stop signs.I believe god was telling me through the flashing red lights was to stop what im doing.all the drugs and prartying and living in sin.and the gas stations, I believe god told me to empty myself and fillup with him watch for the stop signs when you know you in the wrong.

 

THE FLASHING ARROW LIGHT:

the flashing arrow sign it is really hard sometimes to try to know what god is saying and we dont understanding why he does certain things or uses certain things but all i know is my grandmother lives a block down from the arrow sign and direction it was pointing and she is a born again christian,I believe god was telling me to go to her and pray or tell her what was going on in my life..GOD will point us in the right direction in life  and may even place others in our path to lead us to him.We try to do things and go our own way and we will evetually fail Because we can do notheing without GOD and expect to have true happiness,even if one is wealthy his wealth will one day let him down.

THE 2 distinct different voices:

The first voice  "im going to get you at the end of the road im gonna get you at the end of the road

I believe there is a spiritual battle going on today,GOD and satan are battleing over our enteral soul and we as humans are battleing sin and this world that carries it. there was both demons and angels fighting over my soul this night,and the voice that said the above, i believe was demonic and it was saying when the road of my life comes to an end i was going to end up in hell.

The second voice: "walk in the middle, stay in the middle"

I belive that was the voice of an angel 

and when the road streched as if it went on for ever god was telling me to come to him and the road will never end.I would live forever with him in  Glory. The feeling I experienced when the drugs were lifted from me was the spirit of the LORD removeing the drugs out of me it was the beginning of spiritual cleanseing.I believe we all need cleansing and the only way to have this is through JESUS by giveing everything to him our very lives.

The extreme heat and the redness and handcuffs:

I believe it was satan himself, grabbing me and pulling me down.the heat was symbolic of hell and where i was headed.I feel that I truely got a slight glimpse of the outside of hell,and how hot and miserable it really is.

THE BRIGHT WHITE AND BLUE LIGHT IN THE CAR was an angel.that god used to deliver me.

 

We all go through things whether they are bad or good and can use these experiences to shre with others how GOD has deliverd us. I want to encourage you all to share your faith with others.you dont have to have excellency of speach or be all knowing to share your faith.all you have to do is share the experiences and testimonys that god has given you.sometimes this is the best way and most effective way to share  what GOD has done.

Our lives are a testimony to others wether it be good or bad.so what ever we face now will be a testimony to others later. look at mosses, he wasnt a great speaker,he was and ordinary man.but god used that ordinary man to do extradinary things.paul is another great example, he persecuted
GODS people. and god used him in a mighty way.i can just imagine what paul went though after his conversion from the slayer of so many to the winner of many more.

JOB, is another great testimony,this man had a family ,wealth he was set.but everything was taken from him.and the most amazeing thing that shined through, all his trials was his faith in god.through it all.He never lost sight of our father.

these are just a few testimonys from gods word from thousands of years,that STILL live on today to testify to others.

The greatest testimony of all,is The Testimony of the cross and he who laid upon it.

my mother terri and father danny lived in Alomagordo New Mexico, before i was born.My dad was in the airforce back then, and i was born on an airforce base there, but i have no memmories of my birthplace i have only been there when i was an infant.

i was raised and grew up in and around the Springfield Illinois area.my parents were of the hippie area, i guess you can say i was surrounded by marajana, and my dad was an alcoholic and he still is today.My parents got a devorce when i was very young around 3 or so yrs old.We wasnt rich but my mom is a gooood women and we never went without.we always had everything we needed and half of what we wanted .soon after she met a guy by the name of Vaughn Renfro, when i was still young around 4-5 and they were married and still are today.

i used to hate him and i wasnt sure why he treated us good like we were his own and he treated mom good.i guess because maybe my dad wasnt like him im not sure .i did see my dad sometimes on the weekends and in the summers i would stay with him.but he really wasnt a dad he was more of a buddy, he would take me to movies and to the arcade.and i remember we would go to the park to play batman and robin we took bath towles as our capes. lol ...we had some fun times, but he really wasnt the guy who raised me. i didnt understand then , but i do now.i luv them both in a different way.

we moved around alot to different houses and what not.and we ended up moveing to Loami Illinois and been there since i was prob 12 -13 and still reside there today.i moved out of the house when i was 15, i moved in with my girlfriend at the time and her mom, i still was going to school and had 2 jobs i was on the work program at school. i would have classes in the morning and 2 hrs of work in the after noon and at night worked at mcdonalds.and in 1992 i graduated high school, and since broken up with my girl friend.back then had no girlfriend so i wasnt attached and really didnt care to be i was to busy partying it up with my buddys and what not, ive used prob every drug out there at the time to name a few marajuana, cocaine, crystal meth, etc..and i also used to sale drugs, so i guess you could call me a drug dealer back then.I was also involved in gangs.about 1989, my mom got me a job in a factory called aramark.This is where i met Brenda we went on several dates and eventually we moved in together in Loami Illinois, i really didnt treat her the way she deserved to be treated, i never hit her or anything, but i would go out alot with my buddys and leave her home by herself, sometimes for a day or two and other times for a week at a time, so i didnt treat her the way she deserved .

So one night back in june of 2000 i went out on one of my benges. I had been gone for a week, little did i know god was gonna shake me out that night. hes had enough.we went to pick up a bag of marajuanam..we had already been drinking, but we got the bag, went over to another friends house.and when we got there 2 guys were playing a fighting video game, and they.we were sitting there for a few minutes and they started saying im gonna kill you im gonna take you out, i thought they were talking about the game so i ignored it, and soon after 2 other guys walked in and they started saying stuff like that as well im gona kill you, at this point i felt uncomfortable , so i walked out of the hoand everyone seemed to be directing their attention towards me.so at this ponit i thought it was the alcolhol oruse.this was at about 10:00 at night and started heading down the road and 2 blocks down was a gas station.There were people everywhere at the pumps and what not, but i felt as if they was diecting their attention towards me.
i kept walking and found myself turning at that intersection, i walked for a couple of blocks and there was another station same side of the road i thought it was the drugs takeing affect. so i continued walking .
A few more blocks had passed every stopped light i passed was flashing red, but as i came to the next corner i noticed accross the street was one of those flashing arrow lights that people use to try to get your business, but only there was something odd about this flashing arrow light. it wasnt faceing the business.it was faceing the road.at that time all the trafic stopped and there wasnt any people around.

i didnt think much more about it so i started to cross the street (still heading straight)and as soon as i got accross the road the cars and, people started up again.but anyway bare with everyone, heres where it gets good..at that very next corner yet another gas station same scenerio as the first 2 and accross the street catty corner there was a bar.and at that moment i heard a voice, the most evil and dark voice ive ever heard it said lets get him at the end of the road we're gonna get you at the end of the road.i didnt know what to think so i started walking a little faster and i heard it agian lets get him at the end of the road we're gonna get you at the end of the road so i just kept walking and as i ran out of sidwalk on that side of the road i proceded to walk in the road i was walking in the middle of the road and i noticed headlights approaching.So i started to get off the road and found myself right back in the middle of the road.i tried to get to the side again and found myself right back in the middle. and at that moment i heard another voice, yet this voice was diffenent from the voice before ..this voice was firm yet still and calm.it said stay in the middle .walk down the middle.i tried to get over to the side again and found myself back in the middle of the road, stay in the middle walk in the middle i heard again .as this was going on the car was getting closer, so with my arms outstreched, my eyes closed, and my head back (my face faceing towrds the sky.)and by that time the car was to the point it was going to hit me, but yet pulled off the last minute.and at that point in time i felt the most awesome feeling ive ever felt in my life and felt the drugs and alcolhol leave me i was sober..... i felt a peace come over me .as if a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. I then opened my eyes and looked at the road and the road itself moved it streched in front of me as if it went on for ever..Now you guys probably think im crazy by now huh?..lol thas ok i get that alot some people say its the drugs i was on, but i tell you when your on drugs your not as cohearnt as you are when your not on drugs i remember everything that took place, it was something spirtual its something that one must experience for theirself.

Now back to point .as i finaly reached the last entersection on that road i turned left there and when i got to the corner which was a block down, another gas station. thats where the springfield police picked me up and put me in the backseat of the squad car.as they closed the car door everything around me outside the car and in, was red and it got extremely hot, ...fire hot so hot i was completely soaked in sweat,and the handcuffs that were around my wrist begain to tighten as if someone was sqeezeing my wrists they kept getting tighter and tighter and right then,... i new that it was satan and his demons trying to pull me down. and i said "is this the best you can do"? you cant hurt me"that moment as soon as i said that the heat went away the sweat and redness went away and the extreme heat was gone, and the handcuffs loosend rather quickly to i may add.and right then i saw a blue and white light in the car with me and soon thereafter i arrived at the station... and i was sitting in front where they book people in and there was a guy sitting there and i was looking at him and he said in the same evil voice i heard in the street when i was walking, "what are you looking at" and i remained quite and he looked away he couldnt look at me any more.after i was booked in they put me in a holding cell with about 10 -12 other guys and all of them were talking about something that i had done in my life and they were talking about JESUS as if they were trying to get me to repent and accept JESUS.a min had passed and I ended up in another holding cell with another guy of whom was also talking about JESUS and right then and there with tears in my eyes ask the lord into my life,.now while this whole thing was takeing place brenda my girlfriend at that time was on the phone with a friend of mine that gave his life to JESUS years before .he to was invovled with gangs and a drive by shooting, but thas another testimony :O)anyway brenda was on the phone talking to him i had no idea what their conversation was but she told me soon after.

Anyway she said to him "josh chris has'nt been home for a week i dont know what to do im CONFUSED and he prayed with her on the phone (now this is takeing place while all this stuff is happening to me) now the first words i said to my parents when they bailed me out was "god spoke to me last night , can i use your phone to call Brenda, you should of seen the look on thier faces that day..lol that was a kodak moment..lol. My first words to Brenda was "you dont have to be CONFUSED ANYMORE IM COMEING HOME.

shortly after we were married oct 7th of 2000.this is the night god changed me beleive it or not it happened to me and noone i mean noone can say it was the drugs or anything else for that matter. ,I WILL SOON TYPE WHAT I BELIEVE GOD WAS TELLING ME THRU THE FLASHING ARROW LIGHT AND REDLIGHTS THE VOICES THE HANDCUFFS ECT..
