This info sheds some light on other email info I've received about Obama.
Hi,
CONCERNING OBAMA
This came to me from Marie Kirkman. These Missionaries are friends of hers. I thought it interesting that they know what is happening here with our election. They are concerned, just as I am. This is so serious. If Obama does win, I fear a race riot in our country. Hope all is well with you.
Celeste and Loren Davis are Missionaries in Africa and can shed some light on one of our Presidential candidates. Thanks for sending out an alert about Obama. We are living and working in Kenya for almost twelve years now and know his family (tribe) well. They are the ones who were behind the recent Presidential election chaos here. Thousands of people have been displaced by election violence (over 350,000) and I don't know the last count of the dead. Obama under "friends of Obama" gave almost a million dollars to the opposition campaign who just happened to be his cousin, Raila Odinga, who is a socialist, trained in east Germany. He has been trying to bring Kenya down for years and the last president threw him in prison for trying to subvert this country!December 27th elections brought cries from ODM (Odinga Camp) of a rigged election. Obama and Raila speak daily. As we watch Obama rise in the US we are sure that whatever happens, he will use the same tactic, crying rigged election if he doesn't win and possibly cause a race war in America. What we would like you to know is that the American press has been keeping a dirty little secret. Obama "IS" a muslim and he "IS" a racist and this is a fullfilllment of the 911 threat that was just the beginning. Jihad is the only TRUE muslim way. We have been working with them for 20 years this July! He is not an American as we know it. Please encourage your friends and associates not to be taken in by those that are promoting him. It is world wide jihad. All our friends in Europe are very disturbed by the Muslim infiltration into their countries. By the way, if you didn't already know, his true name is Barak Hussein Muhammed Obama. Won't that sound sweet to our enemies as they swear him in on the Koran, not our Holy Bible! God Bless you. Pray for us here in Kenya . We are still fighting for our nation to withstand the same kind of assault that every nation, including America, is fighting. Takeover from the outside to fit the new world order. As believers, this means we will be the first targets. Here in Kenya , not one mosque was burned down, but hundreds of churches were burned down, some with people in them, burned alive. Jesus Christ is our peace but the new world order of Globalism has infiltrated the church and confused believers into thinking that they can compromise and survive. It won't be so. I will send you a newsletter we sent out in February documenting in a more cohesive manner what I've tried to say in a few paragraphs. Love, Celeste

"Let me explain the problem science has with Jesus Christ." The atheist professor of philosophy pauses before his class and then asks one of his new students to stand.
"You're a Christian, aren't you, son?" "Yes sir," the student says. "So you believe in God?" "Absolutely." "Is God good?" "Sure! God's good." "Is God all-powerful? Can God do anything?" "Yes." "Are you good or evil?" "The Bible says I'm evil." The professor grins knowingly. "Aha! The Bible!" He considers for a moment. "Here's one for you. Let's say there's a sick person over here and you can cure him. You can do it. Would you help him? Would you try?" "Yes sir, I would." "So you're good...!" "I wouldn't say that." "But why not say that? You'd help a sick and maimed person if you could. Most of us would if we could. But God doesn't." The student does not answer, so the professor continues. "He doesn't, does he? My brother was a Christian who died of cancer, even though he prayed to Jesus to heal him How is this Jesus good? Hmmm? Can you answer that one?" The student remains silent. "No, you can't, can you?" the professor says. He takes a sip of water from a glass on his desk to give the student time to relax. "Let's start again, young fella Is God good?" "Er...yes," the student says. "Is Satan good?" The student doesn't hesitate on this one. "No." "Then where does Satan come from?" The student : "From...God..." "That's right. God made Satan, didn't he? Tell me, son. Is there evil in this world?" "Yes, sir." "Evil's everywhere, isn't it? And God did make everything, correct?" "Yes." "So who created evil?" The professor continued, "If God created everything, then God created evil, since evil exists, and according to the principle that our works define who we are, then God is evil." Without allowing the student to answer, the professor continues: "Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these terrible things, do they exist in this world?" The student: "Yes." "So who created them?" The student does not answer again, so the professor repeats his question. "Who created them? There is still no answer. Suddenly the lec turer breaks away to pace in front of the classroom. The class is mesmerized. "Tell me," he continues onto another student. "Do you believe in Jesus Christ, son?" The student's voice is confident: "Yes, professor, I do." The old man stops pacing. "Science says you have five senses you use to identify and observe the world around you. Have you ever seen Jesus?" "No sir. I've never seen Him" "Then tell us if you've ever heard your Jesus?" "No, sir, I have not." "Have you ever actually felt your Jesus, tasted your Jesus or smelt your Jesus? Have you ever had any sensory perception of Jesus Christ, or God for that matter?" "No, sir, I'm afraid I haven't." "Yet you still believe in him?" "Yes." "According to the rules of empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science says your God doesn't exist. What do you say to that, son?" "Nothing," the student replies. "I only have my faith." "Yes, faith," the professor repeats. "And that is the problem science has with God. There is no evidence, only faith." The student stands quietly for a moment, before asking a question of his own. "Professor, is there such thing as heat?" "Yes," the professor replies. "There's heat." "And is there such a thing as cold?" "Yes, son, there's cold too." "No sir, there isn't." The professor turns to face the student, obviously interested. The room suddenly becomes very quiet. The student begins to explain. "You can have lots of heat, even more heat, super-heat, mega-heat, unlimited heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat, but we don't have anything called 'cold'. We can hit up to 458 degrees below zero, which is no heat, but we can't go any further after that. There is no such thing as cold; o therwise we would be able to go colder than the lowest -458 degrees. Every body or object is susceptible to study when it has or transmits energy, and heat is what makes a body or matter have or transmit energy. Absolute zero (-458 F) is the total absence of heat. You see, sir, cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat. We cannot measure cold. Heat we can measure in thermal units because heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it." Silence across the room. A pen drops somewhere in the classroom, sounding like a hammer. "What about darkness, professor. Is there such a thing as darkness?" "Yes," the professor replies without hesitation. "What is night if it isn't darkness?" "You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is not something; it is the absence of something. You can have low light , normal light, bright light, flashing light, but if you have no light constantly you have nothing and it's called darkness, isn't it? That's the meaning we use to define the word. In reality, darkness isn't. If it were, you would be able to make darkness darker, wouldn't you?" The professor begins to smile at the student in front of him. This will be a good semester. "So what point are you making, young man?" "Yes, professor. My point is, your philosophical premise is flawed to start with, and so your conclusion must also be flawed." The professor's face cannot hide his surprise this time. "Flawed? Can you explain how?" "You are working on the premise of duality," the student explains. "You argue that there is life and then there's death; a good God and a bad God. You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, science can't even explain a thought. It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one. To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death is not the opposite of life, just the absence of it." "Now tell me, professor. Do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?" "If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, young man, yes, of course I do" "Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?" The professor begins to shake his head, still smiling, as he realizes where the argument is going. A very good semester, indeed. "Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavour, are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you now not a scientist, but a preacher?" The class is in uproar. The student remains silent until the commotion has subsided. "To continue the point you were making earlier to the other student, let me give you an example of what I mean." The student looks around the room. "Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the professor's brain?" The class breaks out into laughter. "Is there anyone here who has ever heard the professor's brain, felt the professor's brain, touched or smelled the professor's brain? No one appears to have done so. So, according to the established rules of empirical, stable, demonstrable protocol, science says that you have no brain, with all due respect, sir. So if science says you have no brain, how can we trust your lectures, sir?" Now the room is silent. The professor just stares at the student, his face unreadable. Finally, after what seems an eternity, the old man answers. "I guess you'll have to take them on faith." "Now, you accept that there is faith, and, in fact, faith exists with life," the student continues. "Now, sir, is there such a thing as evil?" Now uncertain, the professor responds, "Of course, there is. We see it everyday. It is in the daily example of man's inhumanity to man. It is in the multitude of crime and violence everywhere in the world. These manifestations are nothing else but evil." To this the student replied, "Evil does not exist sir, or at least it does not exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God. It is just like darkness and cold, a word that man has created to describe the absence of God. God did not create evil. Evil is the result of what happens when man does not have God's love present in his heart. It's like the cold that comes when there is no heat or the darkness that comes when there is no light."
The professor sat down.
Are you the fern or the bamboo? One day I decided to quit.... I quit my job, my relationship, my spirituality..... I wanted to quit my life. I went to the woods to have one last talk with God. "God", I said. "Can you give me one good reason not to quit?" His answer surprised me... "Look around", He said. "Do you see the fern and the bamboo?" "Yes", I replied. "When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds, I took very good care of them. I gave them light. I gave them water. The fern quickly grew from the earth. Its brilliant green covered the floor. Yet nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo. In the second year the Fern grew more vibrant and plentiful. And again, nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo". He said. "In the third year, there was still nothing from the bamboo seed. But I would not quit. In the fourth year, again, there was nothing from the bamboo seed. But I would not quit. He said. "Then in the fifth year a tiny sprout emerged from the earth. Compared to the fern it was seemingly small and insignificant. But just 6 months later the bamboo rose to over 100 feet tall. It had spent the five years growing roots. Those roots made it strong and gave it what it needed to survive. I would not give any of my creations a challenge it could not handle." He said to me. "Did you know, my child, that all this time you have been struggling, you have actually been growing roots. I would not quit on the bamboo. I will never quit on you. Don't compare yourself to others." He said. "The bamboo had a different purpose than the fern, yet, they both make the forest beautiful." "Your time will come, "God said to me. " You will rise high!" "How high should I rise?" I asked. "How high will the bamboo rise?" He asked in return. "As high as it can?" I questioned. "Yes." He said, "Give me glory by rising as high as you can." I left the forest and brought back this story. I hope these words can help you see that God will never give up on you........ Never regret a day in your life. Good days give you Happiness. Bad days give you Experiences. Both are essential to life. Keep going...Happiness keeps you Sweet, Trials keep you Strong, Sorrows keep you Human, Failures keep you Humble, Success keeps You Glowing, But Only God keeps You Going! Lean not on your understanding; however, trust the ONE who knows the perfect plan.
The Necessity of Christ's Blood (April 2nd 2007) For someone unfamiliar with the Church, all of our talk about the blood of Christ might seem disturbing. But, apart from His blood, there is no Christianity. As Hebrews 9:22 says, "...without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness." God mandated that redemption was available only if our sin was transferred to a perfect substitute. In the Old Testament, an Israelite would lay hands on the head of an unblemished lamb and confess. Then, he presented the animal to a priest for sacrifice. Today, believers are redeemed through forgiveness. But our sacrifice is a sinless Savior who willingly took our guilt and penalty upon Himself. Every person who accepts Jesus' death as a sububstitutionary and receives Him as Savior is declared no longer guilty of sin, God condemned the sinful soul to death. But, when He looks upon Jesus' sacrifice and sees the paid penalty, He declares us righteous. Christ's shed blood lets us enter God's presence. We experience unity with Him in prayer, knowing He listens when we speak. The harmony between God and mankind was interrupted in Eden. But it is restored in each new believer. Through Christ's blood, believers are forgiven, Justified, and reconciled. These words actually describe a simple process. When we accept that a blamless Jesus died to pay our sin penalty, we enter an eternal relationship with God. John 3:16 says Jesus' sacrifice applies to "whoever believes". This includes you and me, if you just believe. If you don't know the Lord Jesus as your Savior, this would be a great week, "Holy Week," to give your life to Him who loves you and shed his blood for you so that you would have eternal life. Passover starts tomorrow, the 3rd @ 6pm. The 6th is "Good Friday", & Sunday is "RESURRECTION DAY"! If not for this day, we would all be lost in our sins! God bless each of you and your families, and pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

March 27th, 2:42PM Hi Friends, I just wanted to remind you that the special feasts of God is coming up soon, starting with the Passover Feast. The next 3 feasts, Passover, Pentecost, The Feast of Tabernacles. God established these as Holy Appointed Times when His children are to meet with Him for their personal welfare and blessings. These feasts are to be celebrated FOREVER! Exodus 12:14 & Leviticus 23 in which God refers to the feasts as "Holy Convocations", they are holy to Him. God says we are to appear to Him 3 times a year with our offerings to HIM. He says no one should appear empty handed! Deut 16:16 Because Passover is so special to God, celebrating these feasts must be special to us as believers. When you come before the Lord in faith & obedience to His Word, God promises to release His Seven-Fold Passover Blessings into your life. What a time of joy and blessing the Passover feast must have been for the Israelites! And what a season of joy and blessing it will be for you as you come before Him to honor HIM, with your worship, and your Passover Offering during this special season. As you keep God's appointed time to come before HIM, He will keep His Appointed Time to bless and prosper you! God will step into the circumstances of your life and bless you with His power, His presence, His peace, and His provision. Celebrating Passover is not just an Old Testament religious observance...it's a God Ordained, Appointed Time of Blessings for all Believers. God promises that as w are obedient to His Word, and faithfully celebrate Passover, we will receive His Seven Blessings listed in Exodus 23: He will send an angel before you to guard you along the way and bring you to the place He has prepared for you, V 20 He will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries, V 22 He will bless you with provision, V 25 He will remove sickness from you, V 25 There will be no miscarrying or barrenness among you, V 26 He will fulfill the number of your days, and you will not die early, V26 You will become fruitful and take possession of the land, V30 Now, you may ask "Why aren't more Believers today celebrating this sacred event"? In the 4th Century, Emperor Constantine came to power in Rome and then became a Christian. Constantine hated the Jews and decreed that it wasn't proper for Christians to celebrate anything associated with the "cursed Jewish Nation." Constantine forbade Believers from worshipping on Saturdays and celebrating the Jewish Passover. Instead, he substituted this festival with Easter, which formerly was the pagan celebration to the goddess Ishtar. I believe that as God's commandments regarding Passover are restored to the Church, the blessings God gave His Chosen People for their faith & obedience will be "OUR'S"! Nowhere in the Old or New Testaments does the Word of God say that we are to neglect celebrating God's special Feasts, including Passover! Through Jesus Christ, the Old Testament was FULLFILLED, not abolished! God is a God of seasons and timing. He sent His Son in the fullness of time, Gal 4:4-5. Passover is a God-Appointed Time when He wants to draw us into His Presence...to meet with us to bless us with His promises...and when He invites us to come before Him with our offerings to honor Him and acknowledge "WHO HE IS" You know that the tithe 10% of our income, belongs to God. But, we are also to present to Him our special offerings, which are an essential part of our worship! Please think about what I've said, ponder on it, read the Books that mention it, study the verses. I hope you come up with what I am saying, if not, you surely will miss out on many blessings from our FATHER! God bless all of you, Brenda
Malachi 3:3 says: "He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver."
This verse puzzled some women in a Bible study and they wondered what this statement meant about the character and nature of God.
One of the women offered to find out the process of refining silver and get back to the group at their next Bible Study.
That week, the woman called a silversmith and made an appointment to watch him at work. She didn't mention anything about the reason for her interest beyond her curiosity about the process of refining silver. As she watched the silversmith, he held a piece of silver over the fire and let it heat up. He explained that in refining silver, one needed to hold the silver in the middle of the fire where the flames were hottest as to burn away all the impurities. The woman thought about God holding us in such a hot spot; then she thought again about the verse that says: "He sits as a refiner and purifier of silver." She asked the silversmith if it was true that he had to sit there in front of the fire the whole time the silver was being refined. The man answered that yes, he not only had to sit there holding the silver, but he had to keep his eyes on the silver the entire time it was in the fire. If the silver was left a moment too long in the flames, it would be destroyed.
The woman was silent for a moment. Then she asked the silversmith, "How do you know when the silver is fully refined?"
He smiled at her and answered, "Oh, that's easy -- when I see my image in it."
If today you are feeling the heat of the fire, remember that God has HIS eye on you and will keep refining you until He sees His image in you. I sure do hope that day comes soon, don't you?
"Life is a coin. You can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once."
