When I look in the mirror…

…I see scars on my face. I see great guilt. I say, “Robert, how could you do such a thing?! How could you hurt Christ again? How could you?!” I see a heart that is troubled. I cry out to God, asking for forgiveness and asking Him to break my heart. 

When I look in the mirror again…

…I see a broken heart. A heart that has been broken by God and a heart that has lost it’s sinful desires. 

When I look in the mirror for the last time…

…I see a new heart that is on fire for God. I see that those evil desires change to God’s desires. I see the heart of a servant of the Lord.
