Journaling makes your prayer time more of a two-way communication with God.
Underline, circle, and make notes by verses that "speak to you". Date the passage. Do not save your Bible... wear it out! Jot notes about the circumstances it guide you through in life. If your Bible does not have space for notes, use a notepad, or buy a Bible just for your "Quiet Time".
Try journaling...jotting down notes on Psalms 37 this week.
Recently, through my VERY HARD TIME... I took my time reading and talking with God (My Father). I started underlining passages and "HE" really opened my eyes, soul, and heart...I started seeing pictures as I began to read and "He" gave me an understanding to each passage...
Brought up in a christian environment, read, taught, and sang "His" words...thinking I knew it all...BUT, played both sides of the track...
...GOD GAVE ME A BIG TIME REALITY CHECK...
........................PRAISE GOD !!.............................
Can't play with God...made a choice...God's side...
God has always made time for me...I must, I am, making time for him every day... ARE YOU ??...
My God and Father never gave up on me and He won't give up on you...
Don't wait for your Reality Check...Set aside some time.."Quiet Time"...take your time: "Really", read His word and talk with God.
You will feel His presence even more, when you put God first, in your busy schedule...
God Bless You...
(I can really say and write this now...) Your Brother In Christ..... Jesse.....
