I am absolutely on a high right now...one of those sort of times where you know God is letting you walk in and feel the sunshine on your shoulders without getting sunburned. Tonight I did a show in a church...not out of the ordinary, I generally do at least three shows in a church a month but tonight was different. Tonight was an event where the church really prayed and invited their community into "their house" to enjoy a night of fun, fellowship and walking alongside people of faith. According to regulars at the church they estimated that about 40% of the rowd was not part of their regular fellowship and just to make things interesting we asked them to raise their hand if they had a regular house of worship...of the 40% that were visitors only about 10% were connected to another fellowship...isn't that AWESOME!?!?!? Stats provided by nielson and barna both suggest that such anevent will provide the basis for about 25% of those to visit the church again. I am just so encouraged by this I had to write. Marty D
