A SNAKE IN THE HOUSE

             SOMETHING FUNNY

Today seems to be a sad day at my house....Why? I really do not know, but I am trying to cheer myself up. The bible tells us that Laughter is good for the soul. When Abraham heard that Sarah had conceived and would have a child, he laughed. It seemed impossible for that to be, but God always brings something our way to make a smile come across our face. He delights in our pleasures and happiness. So I will take it "One Day At A Time". Some days are better than others, but one thing I can say that never changes is my Faith, Hope and Joy I find in serving Christ as my Lord and Savior.

If anyone out there knows something funny or an event in their life that happens to be rib tickling funny let me hear......I need some laughter today....As my fish named "Angel" doesn't talk very much, I spend most of my time with no one to talk to. I am not much on talking to myself, if I were I would make myself laugh.

What makes me really laugh is when I think of some events in my life that at that time was NOT funny but now it is...Like the time I house sit for my daughter....The grand-kids were small and loved to put rubber frogs, snakes, bugs, spiders and such in my bed and other places to scare me when I saw them, as I have a fear of all those things. I was cleaning up or picking up the boys room when I looked down and saw a rubber snake on the floor at the crack where the bedroom door opened up..... I reached down to pick it up so I could put it in the toy box. As I slowly reached down, (remember, I am scared of any snake, rubber or not) that snake happened to be REAL, it snapped at me and I started running out of the house, then I thought, this is silly. Get in there and get that thing out of the house. Well, I guess when I screamed I must have paralized that snake because it was in the same place as when I ran out. I got a jar and put over that big snake "WOW", not really, it was small, I mean really small. After putting holes in the lid so it could breathe, (I wanted that thing alive when the kids returned home) I put it up so the kids would believe me. Well when they did come home that was the joke of the family and still we all get a big laugh out of that HUGE snake. Guess what!!! I found my laughter for today. Thanks for letting me share this. Later.....

Love
