I am a beggar of riches, not the kind this
world provides, but the riches in Christ Jesus,
my Lord, in Whom supplies, I long to know Him
better, I long to hear His voice, I long to see
His face, I long for a heavenly place.
I am a vessel ready to be poured into by His love,
I am nothing without Him, for His glory is far above,
earthly treasures, hold nothing, only Him more and more,
I decrease and He increases, the One I love, and adore.
I am waiting even now, for this body to be transformed,
in His likeness, in His love, from glory to glory forevermore,
He is everything, a treasure , far above what man can hold,
and I long to be in His presence, for when I am, I am bold.
Jesus is my treasure, but I can't put Him in a box, for I
cannot contain His glory, for in this earthly body, it's just
too much, but one day I shall be like Him, and I will behold
His face, the One Who gave me so much more, in this time,
and in this place.
