Hello, I am not a care giver but could have been. My hubby is a cancer survivor. He had colon cancer and the bowell had perforated,but thank God and all his goodness, it went into a wall of fat..They got it all.

I support caregivers, they are Gods Angels in disguise,.that is my thoughts on it .. Good Luck and Best wishes... Marlene

Dear Violarose I just found out not to long ago about blogs and so i just read yours. I also was a care giver. At first it was my job. I took care of elderly women. Then when my Mother came down with lung cancer I moved in with her and took care of her until she passed last september. It was the hardest thing that I have ever done. I am so glad that the lord strengthend me and allowed me the priviledge of serving her in her time of need.

I always thought that i would be destroyed when my Mother passed away, I wasn't though. I had already grived alot for her before her time came and so when she passed I wasn't frantic She simply sliped away. Dont get me wrong i still hurt for her and miss her something terrible.Sept 13th will be one year with out my Dear Mother and i'v already started crying. I'll get through it just like I did on Mothers day, and her birthday, and her favorite holliday Christmas.

I heard a preacher once say that he did not think of his Mother in his past, but in his future. And I have taken those words to my heart and they give me peace. I have confidence in where my Mother is now and so i have that hope, that comes only from the Lord Jesus Christ.

I will put you and your family in my prayers and pray that God will bless you with all spiritual blessings, and that He will wrap his arms around you ,and show His Great love to you.
