Glistening Sapphires
Glistening sapphires splash upon the shore of my enchanted world.
Pearls so pure and iridescent glide beneath my toes,
Because Jewels of the deep crawl upon this beach.
Misty tears spray my glistening cheeks,
while rays of gold cascade downward warming me inwardly.
Mountain peaks sing to me a song that only my spirit knows,
Beckoning me to dance as though a lonely lover I were not so.
Angels' wings whisper the Father's passionate call,
"Lonely one, oh lonely one, I want to be your all in all.
Can't you see I love you so? Please stop erecting all those walls,
and let your tender heart blossom for me --winter, Summer, Spring and Fall!"
