"Wind A Blowing In The Night"
Wind a blowing in the night,
swiftly changing all things in plight.
Force of Nature, or nature of God,
I choose the latter with a nod.
Though your face I cannot visually see,
your presence still encompasses me.
From whence you come from or where you go,
No beginning or end do you show.
Your powerful footsteps unveil your trail;
your grace and mercy once more prevail,
leaving your story for me to tell.
You are the "Great I Am", who never fails.
Gentle and quiet occasionally,
but can be loud and forceful when in need.
Forever and always it's your will indeed,
that ultimately determines my destiny.
All authority lies within your hand,
and all of creation bows to your command. Lori Ann Copyrited (C) 1999 By Lori Ann Glistening Sapphires Glistening sapphires splash upon the shore of my enchanted world.
Pearls so pure and iridescent glide beneath my toes,
Because Jewels of the deep crawl upon this beach.
Misty tears spray my glistening cheeks,
while rays of gold cascade downward warming me inwardly.
Mountain peaks sing to me a song that only my spirit knows,
Beckoning me to dance as though a lonely lover I were not so.
Angels' wings whisper the Father's passionate call,
"Lonely one, oh lonely one, I want to be your all in all.
Can't you see I love you so? Please stop erecting all those walls,
and let your tender heart blossom for me --winter, Summer, Spring and Fall!"
