Celebrate this Easter with

THE PASCHAL COVERAGE

 Introduction:

John the Baptist introduced Christ on the river banks of Jordan, as: “…behold the lamb of God, which taketh away the sins of the world.”(Jn.1:29). Jesus was well aware of His role as a paschal lamb, to shed His precious blood on the cross, so that the people of the world who are bound as slaves to the prince of this world may be delivered for ever from the bondages of sin, curses, eternal death and eternal condemnation.

The Crucifixion, death and the resurrection of Jesus Christ is exactly the fulfillment of “Passover”, the “I am” Ordinance for the people of God.(Ex.12:24). The people of the Lord were in Egypt as slaves for over 430 Years (Ex.12:40)

 

1. It was a War declared; against the nation and against the gods of Egypt:

Suffering is not for ever. There is time frame set by the Lord! No matter how huge is the battle and no matter how severe the pain is! No matter how much we lost! No matter how strong the enemy is and no matter how hopeless the situation is! Just know this that the time of your deliverance is set by the Lord. Not an hour before or not an hour later. You will be free on the 1^st day of the first month! Told the Lord to His people! Till then keep crying to me for your deliverance!. The king of Egypt can not keep the people of the Lord any more. The Lord had already devastated the nation with 9 kinds of plagues! And the enemy knows that he is no match for the Lord and his people! While the people of Egypt faced plagues after plagues, the people of the Lord dwelt in safety and security and a special coverage! “…when He has tried me , I shall come forth as gold.”(Job.23:10)

As we gather in the house of the Lord, to break the bread, meditating the sufferings of Christ on the Cross and then His resurrection, until he has returned; just remember this, that out side the prayer room or church building something is going on! The Lord will walk through the streets and houses of the nation, slaughtering and executing judgment against the gods of this world! (Ex.12:12)

Oh! The people of the Living God, pastors of churches, Heads of the Mission Organizations! World Evangelization can not be fulfilled until the people of the Living God, come in unity, around the banqueting table, to break the bread and to drink the cup and then to sing the songs of Praise.(Mt.26:30) The king of Egypt knew this and so he told Moses:

1. Sacrifice to your God in the Land.(Ex.8:25)  The church and the world are one.

2. O.K .Go to the wilderness and sacrifice; but do not go too far away (Ex.8:28).
 Be my target

3. Let only men go and leave behind women and the kids.(Ex.10.10-11) Be Divided!

4. O.K every one can go! Including the kids. But leave the cattle of all kind

    behind (Ex.10:24) Sacrificing with out blood!!!

The people of God are fighting with each other on various issues, doctrinal, national discriminations, color discriminations, and other. Let us arise as on people! all united in the name of Jesus! As His church and Bride! We are covered with His blood! Jesus is still a lamb as it had been slain.(Rev.5:6)

“And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to god by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

And hast made us unto our God kings and Priests: and we shall reign on the earth(Rev.5.9-10)

Oh! Yes! Out of 3300 millions of gods and goddesses the Lord redeemed us from India. My father’s generations were temple priests and my mother’s generations too were idolatrous. How true and faithful the Lord is! Where ever persecutions, destructions of churches and killing of God’s servants took place, the Lord walked through that nation with a war of His kind against the nation and gods!

 2. The Execution of the Coverage.

 The Lord chose to deliver His with His own plan. In ex.12 we have an account of these events. The great deliverance was achieved by the celebration of “Passover” dinner.

1. Set apart a date. First month (Nissan-March –April) and on the 14^th day was chosen by the Lord for pass over. Though the trials and tribulations are not for ever, it is the sovereign Lord, who sets the dates and times.

“My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from that persecute me”. (Ps.31:15)

2. Every Israelite who wanted to go out of Egypt should Keep the Passover. The

Lord wants all people saved. All the members of a hose can come under this coverage, if only they keep the Pass over Dinner.

3. A one year old,  sheep or Goat should be chosen and must be slaughtered and

eaten by the house hold, with bitter herb. No bones must be broken. Every one should gird their lion, put on their shoes and hold their staff in their hands and eat the Passover in  hast. This is what Jesus accomplished on the cross and we come around the communion table until He returned; celebrating our deliverance from the clutches of the king of Darkness. Jesus was slaughtered on the cross and His body hung on the cross; as the Lamb of God, for the salvation of the whole world.

4. And above all if the Israelites had to escape, the slaughter of the first born, each

House holder should take the blood of the lamb and apply on the top and on the side door posts. And every door post will be checked by the angel. And every house who have not applied the blood on the door posts will loose their first born. “…with out shedding of blood, there is no remission of sins”.(Heb.9:22) Oh! Yes pages will not be sufficient to count the covenant made by the blood of the Lamb. Our Salvation is the Lamb. Not by deeds but by His grace alone. The Lord Go Our eternal Father demonstrated a flawless “Pass over “ by Killing Jesus on the Cross , as the perfect Passover Lamb”.

 
3.The Excitement of the Coverage.

 While in the houses of the Israelites the Passover was being kept, there was “great Cry” in the land of Egypt, as the Lord smote the first born of Egyptians. Some years ago, the King of Egypt killed all the male kids of the people of Israel. And the Lord, remembered it. When the “people of God” Depart with Christ to the Land prepared for us, it will be death and destruction for the people of the World. We will become a terror for the rulers of the land. To-day the leaders would not understand the blessings the people of the Lord bring to the land, but will realize it some day!

1. The People of the Lord were blessed materially. (Ex.12:35-36). They collected gold, silver and cloths and it was given to them in abundance. The Lord knew that they needed all these in their prolonged journey in the wilderness. Where He leads there He provides.

I am not suggesting prosperity Gospel here. But certainly from my own experience and in my ministerial experience and from the scriptures I have seen a 180 degree about turn blessings in the lives of the people of the Lord.

“I have been young, and now am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.” (Ps.37:25)

In true discipleship and in following Jesus, one has to renounce every thing and even the self and carry the cross. But Jesus also said that He will give us back 100 fold now and then the eternal lie. In our “bondage state”, every one of us are in the “possessive” nature. We think, we need health, wealth, money, land, community, clan, culture, and various things and depend upon them; and use them to fulfill the lusts of the flesh and the lusts of the sins. When we are regenerated, we renounce and make “Jesus our every thing” and know our inheritance we are going to possess.

We learn to practice,”….Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee; But to the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom ia all my delight.” (Ps.16. 2-3)

The early Christians during the period of Apostles, “were together, and had all things in common; And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had needed”. (Acts.2.44-45)

If I am given untold millions, this is  what I will do! I will seek opportunities to conduct out reach ministries, youth camps, kids camps, conventions, Gospel crusades, take in more kids in the orphanage and seek out to help the suffering and the needy.

3. It was a mission mobilization.

“And a mixed multitude went up also with them… (Ex.12:38)

Who will not covet to join such a people, who have the living God is alive do terrible things? Our churches are empty and fruitless only because, the Lord is not alive and active. No matter how correct our theology and doctrines are and no matter how historical we are, the world wants to see the LORD OF LORDS AND THE KING OF KINGS, living in the midst of His people!

4. This is an eternal coverage.

The People of the Lord, under the leadership of Moses had continual revelation of His Majesty. The Red sea opened up for them. And the same became tombs for the armies of Egyptians. The Saw the Lord face to Face on Mount Sinai and received the old covenant. They ate the food of the Angels; the Manna! They possessed houses, lands and Vineyards. They lived on Miracles.

“How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by that heard Him; God also bearing them witness, both with signs and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to His own will? (Heb.2:3-4)

 The Cross My Glory Introduction:These are special seasons for Christians Universally, as all of us solemnly remember the days of Jesus’ sufferings on the cross, His vicarious death on the cross and His resurrection on the 3^rd day from the grave. And in south East Asia, people voluntarily crucify themselves to demonstrate to their community of their loyalty to Christianity and Christian faith; though this is nothing to do with “salvation we receive by faith and grace”, very clearly taught in the Word of God. I read of a man who is traveling around the world with a wooden cross, born  upon his shoulders and dragged on the main roads of the world, to let the world know that; almost 2008 years ago, the Son of the Most High” died on the cross to bring back the lost world back to God! In India, 40 days are set apart and people would not eat meat of any kind and drink and some even wear saffron cloth and grow beard and mustache.  Apostle Paul is not the least amongst us! In lifting up the cross of Jesus! He declared:“ But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ...Gal.6:14.Yes! the Cross is the centrality of our Christian faith. Jesus Christ, voluntarily taking upon himself the wrath and the judgment of the Holy God, gave his life by shedding His blood. He was the lamb of God. In doing so He removed, the power of sin, curse, death and the hell eternally from humanity. The Cross is where the eternal enemy, Lucifer was defeated for ever!!!The cross therefore is more than a symbol or an event for celebration but it deep spiritual implications and experiences.  It’s the beginning of the New Testament.He was totally broken as a person: Mt. 26.26, Mk.14:22 & Lk.22:19) Jesus faced tremendous physical, emotional, mental and spiritual pain and battle in His person, before He was crucified.  The thought of dying on the cross as a sinner was too fearful for him. He cried to the father to remove this cup 3 times. Blood oozed out as sweat. But finally he said,” Father LET YOUR WILL BE DONE”. The self was defeated! 

1. Judas sold Him to 30 pieces of Silver. Cruel Betrayal of the Treasurer!!
2. The Disciples flood, leaving Him alone.
3. Peter denied.
4. The people who received good things from Jesus de-cried! Crucify him!!!
5. The High Priest slapped Him and other priest, lied against Him.
6.  Pilot knew that Jesus was faultless to the punishment of death but handed him over to the will of the people.
7. The Roman thugs worked on his body on their free will.
8. He was slapped, mocked and was ridiculed like a buffoon.
9. He was to leave the 12, the faithful ones, the mother and the family.
10. He was made to bear the wooden cross through the streets, where exactly a week ago, he was hailed as a king!
11. He was nailed! (Oh! I weep here! Oh! See the lover of my soul screaming out in agony!) and behold! He is now lifted up almost naked! And there He hung for few hours in pains I would not ever know!
12. He cried out to the Father! “Why have you forsaken me?” And was not heard!

 He finally Died! Bro. Joseph from Aremathea and Nicodemus joined hands to bury him in a new sepulcher. Cross is Turned CrownJesus, taught his disciples about the cross and about Cross bearing to be found worthy followers. IF THERE IS NO CROSS, THEN THERE IS NO CROWN! For he said,” And he that taketh his cross, and followeth after me is not worthy of me. He that findeth his life shall loose it: and he that looseth his life for my sake shall find it.”(Mt.1038-39)Suffering, laying our lives on the alter unconditionally as a living sacrifice are the pre-requisite for a follower of Christ! Joseph the in the old Testament had a special Call and anointing from the Lord! He never went through the scholarship of modern day Christianity to serve him full time. Rather he went through sufferings, persecutions, and he was falsely implicated with the charges of adultery with a general’s wife. His brothers sold him for 20 silver pieces! That was the reward for his faith, righteousness and spiritual virtues. How many church leaders or Mission leaders will recruit such a candidate for full time ministry? Or, what would have been his thoughts and calculations of his own life? “Why is this to me Lord? Why? This Oh Lord?Think of King David! He was a shepherd boy, very athletic and strong! He was a skillful harp player! The Holy Spirit of God had anointed him! Lion, bear and Goliath were nothing before his strength! But then followed the cross bearing! King Saul; his own father in-law hunted after his life! He was never allowed to live with his wives! He dwelt in hills, mountains and forests! Then his own children coveted the throne and drove him to the jungles! His personal life was filled with egos! He committed adultery with Urijah’s wife and then slaughtered him in the battle field! All these was part of “ THE MAN WITH MY OWN HEART.”Apostle Paul Cries out for help! O, wretched man I am! Who shall deliver me from the body of this death?(Ro.7:24) He was baffled with his double nature. He was doing things prohibited by the law but was unable to to the right things He was expected to do! The law of evil was present in him.“…there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.” (2.Cor.12:7)We have to under stand the wisdom of God! And therefore Paul edifies the church in Galatia saying,” I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and my life which I now live  in the flesh I live by the faith of the son of God.(Gal.3:20)The Cross is the  Victory: “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or famine, or nakedness, or peril or sword?For I am persuaded, that, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,Nor height, nor depth, nor any thing creature, shall bed able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus.NAY, IN ALL THESE THINGS WE ARE MORE THAN CONCOQUERORS THROUGH JESUS THAT LOVED US”. (Ro.8:35-39- paraphrased)It’s only on the cross that ones faithfulness, obedience and committmentment is measured!“Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:But made himself of no reputation , and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:And being found in the fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death even the death of the Cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:That in the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;And every tongue should confess that Jesus is LORD, to the glory of the Father.(Phil.2.7-11)“Self exaltation sends us to self Destruction! But divine exaltation takes us to the throne; but only by killing that person on the cross” (Rev.Dass.T)The Cross is our Mandate:For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God (1.Cor.1:18)But we preach Christ the crucified…(1.Cor1:23) The Cross is His body In 1Cor.Chapter 11 Apostle Paul, edifies the Church on the Bread of God and Church Unity. Many grain seeds, in type, size, color, and strength are crushed and they are made into white colored flour! Christian Brethren from around the world must be crushed. No distinction of color, creed, economical status, spiritual status should be seen! And this white flour mixed with water(word) salt(testimony) and no vinegar! (No worldly compromise) and then if kneaded is well mixed and makes a right shape! And this goes into a fiery Owen! The old nature and every thing poison is burnt in the fire! The Bread (THE CHURCH) IS READY TO BE SHARED AND FELLOWSIPPED! Are we ready to bear the Cross? Remember and meditate on these things, this season? Think of the Other Christian brothers and sisters from around the world, the persecuted, the less privileged and the poor new Christian Brothers and sister! Pray for them! Educate them! Help them! And plead their cause! Build them! The new converts in your churches need your moral, social, financial, material and social support! Let us sing! That we are one in the Spirit and one in the Lord!!“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. (Ro.12:1)  The Blood of Christ is the beginning of the New Spiritual Order and authority:Jesus not only gave His body, as a person to go through the pangs of death; but He gave His life. He shed His blood! The centurion, who wanted to make sure the death of Jesus, pierced him on the side and Blood and water gushed out! (Jn.19:34). We know that in blood is life! …with out shedding of Blood there is no remission.(Heb.9;22) Let us consider the Spiritual experiences, and the Spiritual authority we have through the blood of Christ.“And He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, drink all of it; For this is the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. (Mt.26:27-28, Mk.14.23-24 Lk.22.17&20)1. Forgiveness of our sins.The Blood of Christ is the only provision by which our sins can be forgiven and the cause and effect factor. “…and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. (1Jn.1:&)And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.(1Jn2:2)And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us from our sins and washed us from our sins in his own blood. (Rev.1:5)Oh! Yes! Our sins are washed away with the blood of Christ!    2. We have peace with God through His blood.      “And , having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things     unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be the thins in earth or things in heaven. And     And you, that were some times alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet    Now hath he reconciled.(col1:20-21)            3. His blood makes us righteous.          “Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:           Whom  God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his      righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God.     (Ro.3:24-25)           â€śMuch more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from the wrath           Through Him. (Ro.5:9)    4.      His blood purchased us as his own:“Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood(Acts.20:28)“For ye are bought with a price:..(1Cor.6:20& 7:23)“…denying the Lord that brought them…(2Pety.2:1)            &nb sp; “ And they sung a new song, saying, thou art worthy to take the book, and open the             &nb sp; Seals thereof : for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us unto God by thy blood of               every kindred, tongue and people and nation. (Rev.%:9) 5.      His blood the strongest weapon:“ And they over came him by the blood of the lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto death.(Rev.12;11) 6.      The blood of Christ Purges our conscience. “How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal spirit offered himself without spot to God, to purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? (Heb.9:14) 7.      His Blood give us Boldness:“ Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Christ. (Heb.10:19&14) 8.      His blood make us holy:“ Wherefore Jesus also, that he sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered with out the gate. Let us go forth therefore unto him with out the camp, bearing his reproach.(heb.13:12-13) 9.      The Blood speaks better things on our behalf:And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.(Heb.12:24)Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witness, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us. Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy of that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. But divine exaltation takes us to the throne; but only by killing that person on the cross” (Rev.Dass.T)The Cross is our Mandate:For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God (1.Cor.1:18)But we preach Christ the crucified…(1.Cor1:23) The Cross is His body In 1Cor.Chapter 11 Apostle Paul, edifies the Church on the Bread of God and Church Unity. Many grain seeds, in type, size, color, and strength are crushed and they are made into white colored flour! Christian Brethren from around the world must be crushed. No distinction of color, creed, economical status, spiritual status should be seen! And this white flour mixed with water(word) salt(testimony) and no vinegar! (No worldly compromise) and then if kneaded is well mixed and makes a right shape! And this goes into a fiery Owen! The old nature and every thing poison is burnt in the fire! The Bread (THE CHURCH) IS READY TO BE SHARED AND FELLOWSIPPED! Are we ready to bear the Cross? Remember and meditate on these things, this season? Think of the Other Christian brothers and sisters from around the world, the persecuted, the less privileged and the poor new Christian Brothers and sister! Pray for them! Educate them! Help them! And plead their cause! Build them! The new converts in your churches need your moral, social, financial, material and social support! Let us sing! That we are one in the Spirit and one in the Lord!!“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. (Ro.12:1)  The Blood of Christ is the beginning of the New Spiritual Order and authority:Jesus not only gave His body, as a person to go through the pangs of death; but He gave His life. He shed His blood! The centurion, who wanted to make sure the death of Jesus, pierced him on the side and Blood and water gushed out! (Jn.19:34). We know that in blood is life! …with out shedding of Blood there is no remission.(Heb.9;22) Let us consider the Spiritual experiences, and the Spiritual authority we have through the blood of Christ.“And He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, drink all of it; For this is the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. (Mt.26:27-28, Mk.14.23-24 Lk.22.17&20)1. Forgiveness of our sins.The Blood of Christ is the only provision by which our sins can be forgiven and the cause and effect factor. “…and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. (1Jn.1:&)And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.(1Jn2:2)And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us from our sins and washed us from our sins in his own blood. (Rev.1:5)Oh! Yes! Our sins are washed away with the blood of Christ!    2. We have peace with God through His blood.      “And , having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things     unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be the thins in earth or things in heaven. And     And you, that were some times alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet    Now hath he reconciled.(col1:20-21)            3. His blood makes us righteous.          “Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:           Whom  God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his      righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God.     (Ro.3:24-25)           â€śMuch more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from the wrath           Through Him. (Ro.5:9)    4.      His blood purchased us as his own:“Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood(Acts.20:28)“For ye are bought with a price:..(1Cor.6:20& 7:23)“…denying the Lord that brought them…(2Pety.2:1)            &nb sp; “ And they sung a new song, saying, thou art worthy to take the book, and open the             &nb sp; Seals thereof : for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us unto God by thy blood of               every kindred, tongue and people and nation. (Rev.%:9) 5.      His blood the strongest weapon:“ And they over came him by the blood of the lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto death.(Rev.12;11) 6.      The blood of Christ Purges our conscience. “How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal spirit offered himself without spot to God, to purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? (Heb.9:14) 7.      His Blood give us Boldness:“ Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Christ. (Heb.10:19&14) 8.      His blood make us holy:“ Wherefore Jesus also, that he sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered with out the gate. Let us go forth therefore unto him with out the camp, bearing his reproach.(heb.13:12-13) 9.      The Blood speaks better things on our behalf:And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.(Heb.12:24)Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witness, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us. Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy of that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. The coming of the Lord will not happen, until this generation is reached for Christ. This generation is very modern, with the aroma of western culture, life style and even SINS. And persecution in India is on the raise all the time. On the 25 th of December, the Christians around the world were celebrating and were banqueting; while dozens of Churches in the state of Orissa were burnt down and the houses and the properties of Christians were dusted to ground!                                     &nb sp;         I AM THE RICHEST MAN

The 21^st Century, we are now living in has seen a global revolution in Economic boom and the life style of individuals and families now live in abundance of all kinds. Even in rural India, the government has electoral commitment to give out to people FREE, land, free houses, television sets, gas stoves, free bi-cycles to students, free uniforms and subsidized ration commodities to the citizens. There are Micro-loan schemes to women to have dignified self-help businesses. The university students are getting millions as loans for their education. Thus the humanity now is very busy in developing themselves in many ways and try to en-mass wealth for their future generation. No human being has ever learned to say, “NO”! It is enough!

And there are other kinds of people! They will sell every thing to go to a foreign land to find a well-paid job and green card! But the mistake they made was that they paid their money to a wrong travel agent. And either they end up in mean jobs or the travel agent gone absconding after collecting billions from these “Over enthusiastic group of People.

There are other kinds of people! They are deceived by “Attractive Advertisements”. They were lured to invest their money for certain period of time and at the time of maturity they were promised double the amount of their investment. Hundreds deposit their money and end up loosing all their money, because the company closed the doors and the management gone into hiding!

Some months ago, all the newspapers, the TV, telecasts published and shown the faces of some renowned bishops of India. They claimed they received funds from foreign Christian missions to construct houses to the homeless. And they collected money from poor non-Christian communities to the tune of billions. These men used the local pastors as their agents to collect these funds and all the local pastors were promised Church Buildings like a theater. And the building contractors coughed up bribes to the bishop’s agents to acquire contracts. It all ended as Scam! And now they are behind prisons.

There are other kinds of people! They start a business or a company or found a lucrative high paying job. And they indulge in over spending! They take up to sinful habits and loose every thing Or face losses. They end their life or some times take the full families with them to death.

You and I certainly have these tendencies of the lust for money and wealth and material prosperities, deeply concealed in our hearts and some times we will do anything to attain our gains.  None of us are stainless in the area of money, wealth, position and possessions! This is because this is our nature; wanting more and more and more!!!

THE REVOLUTIONARY POOR MAN:

I met this man some years ago! He was hardly in His 30s! His father was a Carpenter by trade! “The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nets; but I have no place to lay my head! (Mt.8: 20).  Some how His teachings, practice and rule of law was always to renounce wealth and richness in order to become the Richest man ever lived in this world! It was extremely difficult art times and I thought I perished with my full family, starving and sick! But at the right time I was eating like a king and I was wearing cloths, even King Solomon had never even saw some of them!

One day He politely told me, “ For after all these things do the Gentiles seek: for your heavenly Father knoweth that all these things. And further He told me:

Seek Ye First the Kingdom Of God , and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto You! And He Signed with His name!    (Mt. 6.32-33)

 

 

And one day He told me, “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon the earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal. But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven , where neither  moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal! (Mt.6.19-20)

The Jericho Man:

Physically, he was a short man! But socially he was the chief amongst the publicans and he was rich. He wanted to see this man from Nazareth! He climbed the sycomore tree to have a look at his young revolutionist! And Jesus! Looked up and called this rich man and desired to stay with him that day! This short little man jumped with great joy and took Jesus to his house! Jesus said nothing! Just nothing!

But! Zacchaeus! Volunteered and made a declaration!

Lord! He said! Behold!, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him four fold.”

AND JESUS SAID UNTO HIM, THIS DAY IS SALVATION COME TO THIS HOUSE, FOR SO MUCH AS HE ALSO IS A SON OF ABRAHAM.”(Lk.19.1-9)

The camel Passing through the Need’s’ Eye:

The next man I introduce to you is a ruler (Lk.18.18-25) He came to this revolutionist Jesus! He wanted to enter into the Kingdom of Christ! Jesus found him to be immaculate in keeping the commandments from the youth! He was a matured Spiritual man and no doubt about that!

But Jesus told him to go and sell ALL he had and distribute it to the poor! And Jesus said,” You shall have treasure in heaven: and come, and follow me”.

Alas! This rich ruler went away from Jesus sorrowful! Because, he was very rich!

“For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of god.”

IN LOOSING WE GAIN:

“And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife or lands, for my name’s sake shall receive an 100 FOLD and shall inherit everlasting life.” Mt.19.29

The Lord talks about not dis- owning these relation ships! He is teaching the secret of “Detached attachment”.

We invest in so many banks and financial institutions who in turn will give 10% or 15 %. But this revolutionist will reward 100%. And this is true more than 1000 times.

“….though He was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, that ye through His poverty might be rich.” (2.Cor.8:9)

And if children,, then hairs; hairs of God, and joint hairs with Christ….(Ro.8:17)

I am serving this Revolutionary for the last 40 years or more! I served in many Organizations! I always declined to receive a salary! This will limit God and His provision! I served the Lord in many states of this Great land! I slept on the roads and under trucks for the sake of preaching the Gospel!   I visited some foreign countries! IT IS ALL BECAUSE HE IS A FAITHFUL FATHER! It is not easy and I don’t demand that I never had difficulties! I had many of them. We went through starvation for months. We lost our 1^st son. And many were our obstacles. But He held us on!

And even to-day we do not know from where our provision will come! We always SERVE HIM AND HIS PEOPOLE in faithfulness!

May the Lord help us to have a 100% rewarding heavenly Business! I give all glory to His wonderful name!

My personal Testimony Introduction I Give all glory honor and praises to the living God, who by His Precious Son sought after me and saved me from my wretchedness and made me as His Servant and light to the Christ less perishing in this world. This is not an advertisement but to show you that Jesus is greater than all the sins of the world put together and He can save any one if only, one yields to His tender and loving call. My father’s parents were temple priests and were active in sorceries and demonic demonstrations and my mother’s mother was a pagan Orphan. But the pioneer missionary efforts of Basel Mission brought them to Christ. Childhood I was born in 1950 and when I was 1 years old total paralysis struck me down and the doctors gave up and I was brought to my mother’s remote village to die and to be buried. My mother being a school Head-mistress had to walk mils for her job and she battled with the Lord for life while walking 4 times in-between her school and home. She promised that I will be dedicated to become a servant of the Lord to proclaim His name free of cost and to help people who suffer. I slowly recovered and I still remember going to the local Catholic school; walking like a cripple from another planet and all the kids making fun. Our up Bringing My Christian parents were puritans and we 4 kids were brought in very strict discipline and were taught Christian virtues. As I grew up I was a notorious boy with all kinds of sins. I stood out in all Church activities yet I was a hypocrite. In 1963, during a summer camp; for the first time in life I learned that I have to be born a new to become a sinner. I saw “myself”. I was wretched! I confessed my sins with cries. It lasted for several hours and people wondered that some thing went wrong with me. The missionary stories of Dr.David Livingston, challenged me and I dedicated my life to the Lord. Running away from God As I grew as an young man, old sins returned and Missions was the last thing I wanted. I ran away from my home and joined the Indian Army. While in the Army I lived a Christian life but I was not happy. Some thing was missing in me. I started seeking the Lord that if he would take me out from the Army I will never look back. My Spiritual Encounters I joined Operation Mobilization India. People from all around the world worked in small teams, in all the states of India. I went with so many imaginations. We received no salaries. It was faith life all the way. We lived in trucks, cooked our own food with the money we earned from selling gospel packets. I was not a use there. I was on board the ship M/V. LOGOS. I sought the Lord every day in depth and with all my heart. The Lord became mine. I am still continuing in faith life and the Lord is very faithful. While in the state of Bihar, I attended a church. The worship was different from where I belonged. People sang in the spirit, prayed in the Spirit and testified in the Spirit. This ended that I obeyed the Lord with my under ground church back home, and were baptized. We were bundled out for this. Under the Leadership Of Anderson Church Of God This ex-communication from the mother church saw me home and I had to under take the Pastoral leadership. I joined the seminary and did my B.Th. I served this church in the state of Kerala for 6 years and during this period married my wife Molly on the 19th Feb-1979. Our Call to Reach the Unreached. Not soon after our marriage the Lord said,” go out to the region to the lost and preach the gospel and this call. I resigned and reached where I am now! It was all Exactly the experience of Abraham. The vast difference is that he had cattle, camel, servant and every thing. But Molly and I had nothing. True! Not a penny. Elathagiri was our Destination 29 years ago. New Dimensions: Starvations and lack of every thing killed our first-born son. All the local Orthodox churches refused a burial ground. I buried our first born in the present campus. We then had the 3 kids. We had 2 associate workers. For some years we had nothing to eat. All these adversities drove me to the presence of the Lord. I locked my doors for 2 weeks and humbled myself and sought the Lord. I came out as a new person, being filled with the Spirit of the Lord. Betty our 2nd daughter was close to death and the Lord rose her from the death. She has completed the B.Th and she is assisting me in the ministry. Molly and I went from one village to another with the help of a bi-cycle, given by Dr.K.P Yeohannan, the founder of Gospel for Asia. We worked together in Operation Mobilization. He also supported us for years with a small monthly support. All the 4 kids were with us during the ministry. Demons fled. Cancers were healed. People who were in debts were blessed. And they joined the church. He is Faithful On a Sunday morning My kids came from home and told me that a white man came to see me! And I was in all surprise. He was working with Siemens Germany. He was not a Christian. Some one hearing about our work sent him for verification. I went to Germany in 1998 Sep. Sister Doris is the person behind our Orphanage. The Lord helped us to educate the kids and one is a postgraduate, two are Engineers and the one is in the ministry. Spending And being spent The filed is very dark. It is very dangerous now to go to villages now! We have 30 associate churches now. We have 30 people in the Orphanage. I single handedly run this ministry. I gave my land, buildings and all I have for the cause of the kingdom. We need more of every thing. Please! Pray that the Lord would open the right doors of support to Build His kingdom. “For it was little which thou hadst before I came, and it is now increased unto a multitude; and the Lord hast blessed thee since my coming ( Gen.30: 30)

 

Two days ago, a relative of ours, who are missionaries in Uttar Pradesh, working amongst the Islamite, paid a visit to us and India no one gets prior appointment to visit relatives.  Molly is 250 K.M away with our first daughter and I had to play the role of a faithful host. After an hour of discussions on missions and spiritual horizons, it was time for them to depart. They started to pray. I was going through a struggle inside; whether to give them an offering or not. Finally I gave them a very huge amount as an offering..

 

On Sunday morning the Lord gave me his word, on how when we are associated with the right persons will bring an abundant increase in wealth and all other areas. Look at the above verse in Genesis. Jacob was fleeing for his life from his brother Esau and the Lord confronted him in Bethel.

 

Bethel is known as “Beith (The House) – El( of the Lord)”

The temple of the Lord was built there after some years of time.  Bethel was God’s place of dwelling and His mission oriented. Jacob finally ended with  Laban; his relative. Since Jacob associated with Laban and worked for him, feeding and tending the sheep, it increased. And so the wealth increased.

But before that, Laban had very little.

 

In human Calculations, Jacob was only like a servant and had no social significance or status. But The Almighty God was with Jacob.

Your Association with Bethel will definitely, bring increase! I challenge you to test this. Because of Bethel you have been blessed and will increase more and more; you and your children and their children for 4 generations.

 

Bethel has many missions; like the orphanage, Child evangelism, youth work, pastor’s training, Pastor’s support and building constructions and many more.

You can lend a helping hand. And I will Challenge you that the Lord will increase you!

Bethel’s Summer camp started on the 30^th April  2007 and ended on the 7^th May-2007. Very hard work was put on to make 5 class rooms with coconut leaves and poles. 125 boys and girls from different local, rural churches came and stayed in bethel campus. We invited a special directors team from VBS ministry. And there were 9 teachers. Kids were flocked out as (1.) Beginners, (2) Primary, (3) Juniors (4). Intermediate, (5) seniors. And there were 7 cooks team. This year the Lord brought a team of 14 boys and girls from Bangalore. “ SING A NEW SONG”, was this year’s theme. The Lord used me to bring the words of Salvation in 3 different sessions. Many young boys and girls stood with great brokenness and confessed their sins and have accepted Jesus as their Lord and savior.

Now it is the local church and the special team from Bethel who will follow them up! We will visit every church and meet the kids and make them grow in His grace. Many of them were non-Christian kids.  This year’s Camp ended with a 1200$ deficit. Our next camp, if the Lord be willing, will be held in 2008; May: 1-10^th. We are asking the Lord to provide us with additional buildings, Toilets and bathrooms. We give all the glory and praises to the Lord! I invite you pray for us and if possible partner with our ministry to the un reached millions.
