Fear Not!

‘Strengthen Ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.

Say unto them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, Fear not: behold, your    God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompancce; He will come and Save you.” (Isa.35.3-4)

 

“But now says the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and He that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not:  for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by my name; but thou are mine.

 

When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee: and through the rivers, they shall not over flow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

 

For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy one of Israel, thy saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and seba for thee:

 

Since thou wast precious in my site, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life.

 

Fear Not I am with Thee…” (Isa.43:1-5..)

 

Look At What Jesus Said:

 

     These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace…

“… IN the world ye shall have tribulations: but be of Good cheer: I have over come the world. (Jn16: 33)

 

Look at our Security:

 

“ I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; FOR THEY ARE THINE. (jn.17:9)

 

“And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, KEEP THROUGH THINE OWN NAME those whom thou hast given me…..(Jn.17:11)

 

“I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but thou shouldest keep them  from the evil. (Jn.17:15)

 

“And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them…( Jn.17:22)

 

“ Father, I will that they also whom thou hast given me , be with me where I am” …(Jn.17: 24)

 

Jesus!! Is our Eternal “Package” of life abundant. Take heart!!! He knows it all and He is with you till the ends of days. Our sincere prayers follow!!!

Christian Paganism “… How long halt ye between two opinions? If the Lord be God, follow him: but if Ba-al, then follow him,,,(1`King.18:21) After writing the article on the “extraordinary Situation?” “the Extraordinary God”, Extraordinary Elijah” and Extraordinary Miracle, the Lord confronted me with “Christian Paganism”, the same night. The Holy Spirit took me to the following passages and taught me with words I have never known before. It was awesome to know the mind of the Living God. On the 25th Sunday January 2009, I will be preaching this sermon in Rev.Stephan Paul’s Church in Kaveripattinam. I am sure that this message will be a blessing and feel free to elaborate it and preach it so that the body of the Lord may be edified. Elijah was a Powerful man and a fire full man! The generation who made a great escape from Egypt died in wilderness due to continuous rebellion and disobedience to His laws. The generation who crossed the red sea, the generation who saw Yahweh on mount Sinai, the generation who ate the food of the angels, the generation who worshipped the Lord in the tabernacle, sinned by worshipping idols. They mix married the heathen and thus kindled the anger of the Lord. The Lord had to slaughter them in the wilderness and extend a 3 days journey in to 40 years. it was a new generations when Ahab was king over Israel. The nation of Israel was living in total disobedience to the laws of the Lord. Jezebel, the wife of Ahab was a wicked women. He killed the prophets of the Living God and built innumerable temples and forced the worship of Ba-al. (1.Kings.16:30-33) The Lord punished the land by stopping the rain and dew for over three and half a year. What is paganism? (or) heathenism? My Webster’s dictionary gives meaning that a pagan is the one who worships idols other than the living God. And a pagan is the one who is either a Christian, a Jew or a believer in the living God! St.Paul’s Explanation of Paganism: ( Ro.1: 21-23)Because that, they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful……And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God in to an image….. 1. Not glorifying the Living God is paganism. 2. Failing to Thank God is Paganism 3. Changing the Glory of the Living God in to the hand works of human hands. (lifeless idols.) It can be the writings, paintings, songs, music, ideologies and philosophies. The enemy, the old serpent is so clever that he knows that Christians would not worship idols that easily and so he twists the Word and the Faith delivered to the saints and makes them stumble in relating their Christian life in the world and community we live in. How can a Christian be a pagan? 1. Christians too worship idols. In some church buildings, they still have idols of Jesus, and other saints. And they are being worshipped. Paul writing to the Corinthian Church, questions, “And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols?...(II.Cor.6:16) “Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee idolatry. (I.cor.10:14-15) The city of Corinth was full of temples with life less idols; like we have it here in India. There will be several of them in one village. The Christians were new and hand counted. There was the temptation of eating the meat and banquet offered to the idols! Paul tells them, No do not eat, because the animals were sacrificed to devils. (I.cor.10:20) And if you do eat, then You have fellowship with the devils. …Ye can not be partakers of the Lord’s table and of the table of the devils. In, Num. 25:2 We have an incident. Israel had to cross the land of Moabites. Balak was terrified. He hired the “Balaam” and tried to curse the people of Israel and instead of cursing; the prophet went on blessing the people of Israel. The king’s plan failed. And so they worked out a plan to seduce the people of Israel. They invited the people of Israel to the sacrifices offered to their gods, and the people did eat, and bowed to their gods. And the Lord killed that day 24,000 people. There is another scheme of the devil. Many Christians try to walk on sight and falsehood than trusting, believing and exercising their faith on the living Gods and His living word. Galatians had this problem. In Gal. 4:9-10 “But now that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, where unto ye desire again to be in bondage? Ye observe days, and months, and times and years.” Idolatry is practiced in a new form! Millions of Christians secretly practice these things. From kings to the leaders of super power nations fear the signs of sun, moon and stars. Christian weddings are fixed in “good times”. Warming up a newly built house, a journey, laying of foundation stones, giving names to the newborn babies etc ets are done in the light of these things. Are these things not professing practically that the JESUS we profess is so mean and obsolete? Let us flee all forms of Idolatry. 2.Idolatry always accompanies sensual and sexual misbehaviors. Coming back to Romans. 1: 24-28, we read how God gave such people to sexual misbehaviors. Idolatry always accompanied polygamy, prostitution and misappropriation of genders. It is in the light of this that men marrying men and women marrying women are blessed by priests and pastors and priests in church buildings. Oh! What a debauchery. Even animals and pets we grown in our homes keep up the natural laws of God. It does not take God for the animals to keep this law. Thus human nature is lower than the instincts of beasts. Coming back to numbers 25. The Moabites knew how to seduce and reduce Israel to nothing and Bring them down. They sent attractive young women in to the festival Of Ba-al. The people of Israel committed adultery. The Holy god of the Bible was jealous upon His Holiness that He killed and removed 24,000 Israelites in one day. Corinthian Christians had more severe Problem in this area. Remember this Church was a “Super Spiritual Church”. The Holy Spirit was in full operation With various gifts, fruits and Offices. But in ( I.cor.5:1- 5) we read: “ It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such is not so much as named among the gentiles, that one should have his father’s wife. …..To deliver such an one un to Satan for the destruction of the flesh…..” How many families, lives, individuals, nations, kings and kingdoms fell because of sexual failures? Cinemas, pornography magazines, Internet, pubs, dances and other cultural practices have devastated the strength, future, happiness and the prosperity of human race! REMEMBER! NO ONE IS ABOVE THIS TEMPTATION. Flee, idolatry for it will destroy the moral fabric of a society, nation and families, by seducing us in to sexual and sensual sins. Jesus said,” But I say unto you, that whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.” (Mt.6:28) 2.Christians can be pagans by exercising Lordship and authority. In Lk.22.24-26 “And there was a strife among them, which of them should be accounted the greatest. And He said unto them, The kings of the gentiles exercise lordship over them: and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors. But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger: and he that is chief, as he that doeth serve.” The greatest problem of the CHURCH to day is Power and position. Every one wants to be on the top seat. This is because of ruling and authority. Positions always bring possessions, comforts and lordship. And this strife ends in court cases, closing down of church services, divisions and separation of the body of Christ. Greed and jealousy are the root cause of these evils. The Holy Spirit Can not rule the body of Christ if a man or a man is lifted to the throne of authority. In I.Sam.8: 5-7, we read how the people of Israel wanted to …”make a king to judge us like all THE NATIONS” …….And the Lord said unto Samuel, …..for they not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I SHOULD NOT REIGN OVER THEM.” The Lord always want to be on the throne, ruling over His church. Rev.4: 1- 11 gives us the account of Jesus seated on the throne and there were 24 other thrones round about….The Lord wants to live amongst His people, ruling and judging. And there are many who acknowledge this and experience this. And the leaders of the church are servants and not Lords. How de we relate our position and authority with the fellow Christians? How do we relate our Christian power with our un saved non Christians? How do we relate our power and lordship with the members of our family? There are leaders in the church who treat Christians of poor nations as “mean” and as third class citizens! In Jn.13 the Lord showed the meekness of Leadership by washing the foot of His disciples. An aggressive leadership with man made laws and rules are Paganism. The king is coming on the clouds! The ruler of the nations is nearer than we think to meet His people. AND EVERY ONE WHO ARE RULED BY HIM WILL MEET HIM IN THE NID HEAVEN AND BE GONE WITH HIM! Jesus is Lord! He alone is our King! Worship! Praise! And Serve Him Joyfully! Amen! Christian faith stands on just two important pillars. The first pillar is, “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and the great commandment.” (Mt.22:37). The Lord expects from His people, only LOVE! and nothing else. For Him all the other things are only secondary. Prophesying, casting out demons and people who accomplished great things for Him are called : “ And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” (Mt.7:23)Oh! I tremble at this statement.  I am 59 years of age. I served the Lord with different organizations and I still serve Him. I have 40 years or more years of ministry service. I will do injustice if I do not explain this verse to you.  The Lord Jesus was not condemning the Spiritual gifts; but the people who are vessels exercising it. The Great Commission Command has all this virtues given to His servants and all believers.

In these last days, we hear more about gala crusades, prophets, interpretations and miracles. They earn the glory and pomp and propagate personal interests, than the interest of Christ.  Debauchery has entered the church. The Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, with brimstone and fire (Gen.19:24) And the Lord destroyed the whole world in the days of Noah,(Gen.6) men and women were violent, and sensual. The Lord ordered Noah to gather in his Arch of Covenant “ a pair of every foul, animals and reptiles; male and female”. But to-day the church leadership perverted theses holy commandments. Instead of loving THE LORD, people are lovers of self and practice abominations. Popularity, self propagation, wealth, money, fame, and materialism are the hall mark of to-day’s Christian leaders. Instead of reaching the lost, these leaders invent new theology, new religion and import it to all nations; that all confused.

“If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my father will love him, and we will make our abode with him”.(Jn14:23

The virtues of a forsaking-all, simple life, and the practice of discipleship are forgotten. May the Lord help us to Love Him as He demands Love from Us.

 

The second Pillar in Christianity, “The second is like un to it , Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself” (Mt.22:39)

Please! Notice the words,” like unto it”. This is the 2nd and great command.

“For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? Do not even publicans the same?” (Mt.5:46) So, what makes you a real Child of God? “But I say unto You, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, and pray for them that deceitfully use you, and persecute you. (Mt.5:44)

Love needs a revolution and it is found in 1st Cor.13. Loving the Lord strongly means loving the fellow being! Not your own church community and family and friends; but people who are in need of our love and service.

We always expect a reward. If we salute, we expect the others to salute! If we expense a dinner, we expect that the others do the same for us. AND IF WE TITHE, WE EXPECT A MIRACE. All for this life! We do not store for the life to comer! Our reward is coming with Him.

Let us be like zachaeus! “ ....Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor: and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore Him four fold. And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch, as he also is a son of Abraham. (Lk.19:8-9)

The Lord loves the poor because it is there the gospel penetrates. It is they who give their all to Jesus. Think of the good Samaritan, Dorcas, and the widow from Nain.

Salvation is absolutely by the grace of God! But the fulfilled salvation always ACCOMPANIES good works.

In India, we want to be a house that is built on the mountain top. And we want to be a light house! We want to good works, that will reflect the passion of Jesus Christ.

Thou Shalt Not Kill

 

“They shall put you out of the Synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service. (Jn.16:2)

 

Christians have a Doctrine of “Eschatology” and the author God, revealed through His son Jesus that the final end of this world will be of Religious in nature. It’s going to be history that men fought war, to possess land, gold, oil, money and other things. It’s going to be now, a war over the Lordship over this world, people and faith.

 

The so called “anti-christ”, the author of Idolatry will arise exactly during the time of Jesus’ coming to take His redeemed. In no other part of this universe, idolatry is predominant, as it is in India. In the past, this system was asleep. I personally preached hundreds of open air-sermons from behind the trucks of Operation Mobilization in India and with other organizations, openly challenging idolatry. I praise the Lord, for saving my fore fathers from Idolatry, as they were temple priest. And the Lord used and still uses hundreds and thousands of Christian organization, churches, mission agencies and Para church movements to save people from idolatry to serve the Living God!

 

            &nb sp;                        INDIA BLEEDS

 

In the recent weeks, Christians face brutal attack from pro-hindu militant groups. Orissa is outstanding with the death of more than 25 individuals. In the past late, Mr. Graham Steins, and their 2 little boys were charred to death behind their pick up truck. Then it was in Gujarat. Now it is in Karnataka and in Tamilnadu. And now it is a daily incident. RSS, Sivsena, Bajrangdhal and other fanatical hindu groups are openly taking responsibilities for this brutality. Remember, BJP, the leading political party which ruled India in the past and who are now getting ready to rule again; is made of a mixture of all these parties. Indian people are naturally very religious and they are very sensitive and sentimental. In order to get their vote bank, this political party and religious set ups, create a situation like this.

 

Muslim terrorists are killing innocent people in the name of religion. Last week it happened in Delhi. And it will continue to happen. And all these people claim that they are doing service to their gods and their religion a favor. Oh! What blindness!

 

And Naxalism is another organization, with Communist ideology kill people every where.

Jesus, rightly said, “ Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.

            &nb sp;                         &nb sp;                         &nb sp;                         &nb sp;      (Mt. 24:9)

Pure injustice

 

Indian law forbade the activities of all terrorist organizations and organization who promote violence. Unfortunately, they would not forbid any of these hindu killers. But why? The only reason is that out of more then 100 billion people, 96% of them are basically staunch hindus, who practice their religion with an equal commitment.

 

The Secret of Suppression and the Remedy

 

Let us go back to the Biblical history! King Pharaoh, suppressed the people of God. And their rights were denied and they were beaten and they were killed. Look at the plan and the secret of God in (Exodus. 1:12.) “ But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were grieved because of the Children of Israel.”  Vow! Let us not reveal this to the ignorant killers, lest they stop oppressing us. Oppression is multiplication. And soon the oppressors will wonder of the increase of God’s people, in spite of the hard schemes used against us. And this is because: “Verily verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abaideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.(Jn.12:24)! Yes! It is a proven history in Christendom.

 

            &nb sp;          Our Armory Against Oppression

 

Our Patriarch Moses is a classical example of the hour. He personally dealt with oppression by killing and concealing! But the Lord sent him with a mere “Shepherd’s Staff”. He then went on doing valiantly for the Lord and His people.

1.    The people of the living God, shed petty denominational

Indifferences and come under the ( “Shepherd’s Staff”) leader ship of Jesus Christ in unity; in all practical sense.

2.    The book of the law must be practiced genuinely – seek the

Lord, as never before, with fast and prayer.

3.    Uplift the persecuted, by providing, visiting, writing, giving and sending.

4.    Remember the new converts, rural house churches, missions and it’s leaders. They do not have a bishop, diocese or reserved funds to support themselves.

The next target could be Me! Pray that I may stay faithful, till the end. Pray for the associate churches under my care. They are struggling hard. Give a helping hand! Let us arise and build!

Celebrate this Easter with

THE PASCHAL COVERAGE

 Introduction:

John the Baptist introduced Christ on the river banks of Jordan, as: “…behold the lamb of God, which taketh away the sins of the world.”(Jn.1:29). Jesus was well aware of His role as a paschal lamb, to shed His precious blood on the cross, so that the people of the world who are bound as slaves to the prince of this world may be delivered for ever from the bondages of sin, curses, eternal death and eternal condemnation.

The Crucifixion, death and the resurrection of Jesus Christ is exactly the fulfillment of “Passover”, the “I am” Ordinance for the people of God.(Ex.12:24). The people of the Lord were in Egypt as slaves for over 430 Years (Ex.12:40)

 

1. It was a War declared; against the nation and against the gods of Egypt:

Suffering is not for ever. There is time frame set by the Lord! No matter how huge is the battle and no matter how severe the pain is! No matter how much we lost! No matter how strong the enemy is and no matter how hopeless the situation is! Just know this that the time of your deliverance is set by the Lord. Not an hour before or not an hour later. You will be free on the 1^st day of the first month! Told the Lord to His people! Till then keep crying to me for your deliverance!. The king of Egypt can not keep the people of the Lord any more. The Lord had already devastated the nation with 9 kinds of plagues! And the enemy knows that he is no match for the Lord and his people! While the people of Egypt faced plagues after plagues, the people of the Lord dwelt in safety and security and a special coverage! “…when He has tried me , I shall come forth as gold.”(Job.23:10)

As we gather in the house of the Lord, to break the bread, meditating the sufferings of Christ on the Cross and then His resurrection, until he has returned; just remember this, that out side the prayer room or church building something is going on! The Lord will walk through the streets and houses of the nation, slaughtering and executing judgment against the gods of this world! (Ex.12:12)

Oh! The people of the Living God, pastors of churches, Heads of the Mission Organizations! World Evangelization can not be fulfilled until the people of the Living God, come in unity, around the banqueting table, to break the bread and to drink the cup and then to sing the songs of Praise.(Mt.26:30) The king of Egypt knew this and so he told Moses:

1. Sacrifice to your God in the Land.(Ex.8:25)  The church and the world are one.

2. O.K .Go to the wilderness and sacrifice; but do not go too far away (Ex.8:28).
 Be my target

3. Let only men go and leave behind women and the kids.(Ex.10.10-11) Be Divided!

4. O.K every one can go! Including the kids. But leave the cattle of all kind

    behind (Ex.10:24) Sacrificing with out blood!!!

The people of God are fighting with each other on various issues, doctrinal, national discriminations, color discriminations, and other. Let us arise as on people! all united in the name of Jesus! As His church and Bride! We are covered with His blood! Jesus is still a lamb as it had been slain.(Rev.5:6)

“And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to god by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

And hast made us unto our God kings and Priests: and we shall reign on the earth(Rev.5.9-10)

Oh! Yes! Out of 3300 millions of gods and goddesses the Lord redeemed us from India. My father’s generations were temple priests and my mother’s generations too were idolatrous. How true and faithful the Lord is! Where ever persecutions, destructions of churches and killing of God’s servants took place, the Lord walked through that nation with a war of His kind against the nation and gods!

 2. The Execution of the Coverage.

 The Lord chose to deliver His with His own plan. In ex.12 we have an account of these events. The great deliverance was achieved by the celebration of “Passover” dinner.

1. Set apart a date. First month (Nissan-March –April) and on the 14^th day was chosen by the Lord for pass over. Though the trials and tribulations are not for ever, it is the sovereign Lord, who sets the dates and times.

“My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from that persecute me”. (Ps.31:15)

2. Every Israelite who wanted to go out of Egypt should Keep the Passover. The

Lord wants all people saved. All the members of a hose can come under this coverage, if only they keep the Pass over Dinner.

3. A one year old,  sheep or Goat should be chosen and must be slaughtered and

eaten by the house hold, with bitter herb. No bones must be broken. Every one should gird their lion, put on their shoes and hold their staff in their hands and eat the Passover in  hast. This is what Jesus accomplished on the cross and we come around the communion table until He returned; celebrating our deliverance from the clutches of the king of Darkness. Jesus was slaughtered on the cross and His body hung on the cross; as the Lamb of God, for the salvation of the whole world.

4. And above all if the Israelites had to escape, the slaughter of the first born, each

House holder should take the blood of the lamb and apply on the top and on the side door posts. And every door post will be checked by the angel. And every house who have not applied the blood on the door posts will loose their first born. “…with out shedding of blood, there is no remission of sins”.(Heb.9:22) Oh! Yes pages will not be sufficient to count the covenant made by the blood of the Lamb. Our Salvation is the Lamb. Not by deeds but by His grace alone. The Lord Go Our eternal Father demonstrated a flawless “Pass over “ by Killing Jesus on the Cross , as the perfect Passover Lamb”.

 
3.The Excitement of the Coverage.

 While in the houses of the Israelites the Passover was being kept, there was “great Cry” in the land of Egypt, as the Lord smote the first born of Egyptians. Some years ago, the King of Egypt killed all the male kids of the people of Israel. And the Lord, remembered it. When the “people of God” Depart with Christ to the Land prepared for us, it will be death and destruction for the people of the World. We will become a terror for the rulers of the land. To-day the leaders would not understand the blessings the people of the Lord bring to the land, but will realize it some day!

1. The People of the Lord were blessed materially. (Ex.12:35-36). They collected gold, silver and cloths and it was given to them in abundance. The Lord knew that they needed all these in their prolonged journey in the wilderness. Where He leads there He provides.

I am not suggesting prosperity Gospel here. But certainly from my own experience and in my ministerial experience and from the scriptures I have seen a 180 degree about turn blessings in the lives of the people of the Lord.

“I have been young, and now am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.” (Ps.37:25)

In true discipleship and in following Jesus, one has to renounce every thing and even the self and carry the cross. But Jesus also said that He will give us back 100 fold now and then the eternal lie. In our “bondage state”, every one of us are in the “possessive” nature. We think, we need health, wealth, money, land, community, clan, culture, and various things and depend upon them; and use them to fulfill the lusts of the flesh and the lusts of the sins. When we are regenerated, we renounce and make “Jesus our every thing” and know our inheritance we are going to possess.

We learn to practice,”….Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee; But to the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom ia all my delight.” (Ps.16. 2-3)

The early Christians during the period of Apostles, “were together, and had all things in common; And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had needed”. (Acts.2.44-45)

If I am given untold millions, this is  what I will do! I will seek opportunities to conduct out reach ministries, youth camps, kids camps, conventions, Gospel crusades, take in more kids in the orphanage and seek out to help the suffering and the needy.

3. It was a mission mobilization.

“And a mixed multitude went up also with them… (Ex.12:38)

Who will not covet to join such a people, who have the living God is alive do terrible things? Our churches are empty and fruitless only because, the Lord is not alive and active. No matter how correct our theology and doctrines are and no matter how historical we are, the world wants to see the LORD OF LORDS AND THE KING OF KINGS, living in the midst of His people!

4. This is an eternal coverage.

The People of the Lord, under the leadership of Moses had continual revelation of His Majesty. The Red sea opened up for them. And the same became tombs for the armies of Egyptians. The Saw the Lord face to Face on Mount Sinai and received the old covenant. They ate the food of the Angels; the Manna! They possessed houses, lands and Vineyards. They lived on Miracles.

“How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by that heard Him; God also bearing them witness, both with signs and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to His own will? (Heb.2:3-4)

 The Cross My Glory Introduction:These are special seasons for Christians Universally, as all of us solemnly remember the days of Jesus’ sufferings on the cross, His vicarious death on the cross and His resurrection on the 3^rd day from the grave. And in south East Asia, people voluntarily crucify themselves to demonstrate to their community of their loyalty to Christianity and Christian faith; though this is nothing to do with “salvation we receive by faith and grace”, very clearly taught in the Word of God. I read of a man who is traveling around the world with a wooden cross, born  upon his shoulders and dragged on the main roads of the world, to let the world know that; almost 2008 years ago, the Son of the Most High” died on the cross to bring back the lost world back to God! In India, 40 days are set apart and people would not eat meat of any kind and drink and some even wear saffron cloth and grow beard and mustache.  Apostle Paul is not the least amongst us! In lifting up the cross of Jesus! He declared:“ But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ...Gal.6:14.Yes! the Cross is the centrality of our Christian faith. Jesus Christ, voluntarily taking upon himself the wrath and the judgment of the Holy God, gave his life by shedding His blood. He was the lamb of God. In doing so He removed, the power of sin, curse, death and the hell eternally from humanity. The Cross is where the eternal enemy, Lucifer was defeated for ever!!!The cross therefore is more than a symbol or an event for celebration but it deep spiritual implications and experiences.  It’s the beginning of the New Testament.He was totally broken as a person: Mt. 26.26, Mk.14:22 & Lk.22:19) Jesus faced tremendous physical, emotional, mental and spiritual pain and battle in His person, before He was crucified.  The thought of dying on the cross as a sinner was too fearful for him. He cried to the father to remove this cup 3 times. Blood oozed out as sweat. But finally he said,” Father LET YOUR WILL BE DONE”. The self was defeated! 

1. Judas sold Him to 30 pieces of Silver. Cruel Betrayal of the Treasurer!!
2. The Disciples flood, leaving Him alone.
3. Peter denied.
4. The people who received good things from Jesus de-cried! Crucify him!!!
5. The High Priest slapped Him and other priest, lied against Him.
6.  Pilot knew that Jesus was faultless to the punishment of death but handed him over to the will of the people.
7. The Roman thugs worked on his body on their free will.
8. He was slapped, mocked and was ridiculed like a buffoon.
9. He was to leave the 12, the faithful ones, the mother and the family.
10. He was made to bear the wooden cross through the streets, where exactly a week ago, he was hailed as a king!
11. He was nailed! (Oh! I weep here! Oh! See the lover of my soul screaming out in agony!) and behold! He is now lifted up almost naked! And there He hung for few hours in pains I would not ever know!
12. He cried out to the Father! “Why have you forsaken me?” And was not heard!

 He finally Died! Bro. Joseph from Aremathea and Nicodemus joined hands to bury him in a new sepulcher. Cross is Turned CrownJesus, taught his disciples about the cross and about Cross bearing to be found worthy followers. IF THERE IS NO CROSS, THEN THERE IS NO CROWN! For he said,” And he that taketh his cross, and followeth after me is not worthy of me. He that findeth his life shall loose it: and he that looseth his life for my sake shall find it.”(Mt.1038-39)Suffering, laying our lives on the alter unconditionally as a living sacrifice are the pre-requisite for a follower of Christ! Joseph the in the old Testament had a special Call and anointing from the Lord! He never went through the scholarship of modern day Christianity to serve him full time. Rather he went through sufferings, persecutions, and he was falsely implicated with the charges of adultery with a general’s wife. His brothers sold him for 20 silver pieces! That was the reward for his faith, righteousness and spiritual virtues. How many church leaders or Mission leaders will recruit such a candidate for full time ministry? Or, what would have been his thoughts and calculations of his own life? “Why is this to me Lord? Why? This Oh Lord?Think of King David! He was a shepherd boy, very athletic and strong! He was a skillful harp player! The Holy Spirit of God had anointed him! Lion, bear and Goliath were nothing before his strength! But then followed the cross bearing! King Saul; his own father in-law hunted after his life! He was never allowed to live with his wives! He dwelt in hills, mountains and forests! Then his own children coveted the throne and drove him to the jungles! His personal life was filled with egos! He committed adultery with Urijah’s wife and then slaughtered him in the battle field! All these was part of “ THE MAN WITH MY OWN HEART.”Apostle Paul Cries out for help! O, wretched man I am! Who shall deliver me from the body of this death?(Ro.7:24) He was baffled with his double nature. He was doing things prohibited by the law but was unable to to the right things He was expected to do! The law of evil was present in him.“…there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.” (2.Cor.12:7)We have to under stand the wisdom of God! And therefore Paul edifies the church in Galatia saying,” I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and my life which I now live  in the flesh I live by the faith of the son of God.(Gal.3:20)The Cross is the  Victory: “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or famine, or nakedness, or peril or sword?For I am persuaded, that, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,Nor height, nor depth, nor any thing creature, shall bed able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus.NAY, IN ALL THESE THINGS WE ARE MORE THAN CONCOQUERORS THROUGH JESUS THAT LOVED US”. Many grain seeds, in type, size, color, and strength are crushed and they are made into white colored flour! Christian Brethren from around the world must be crushed. No distinction of color, creed, economical status, spiritual status should be seen! And this white flour mixed with water(word) salt(testimony) and no vinegar! (No worldly compromise) and then if kneaded is well mixed and makes a right shape! And this goes into a fiery Owen! The old nature and every thing poison is burnt in the fire! The Bread (THE CHURCH) IS READY TO BE SHARED AND FELLOWSIPPED! Are we ready to bear the Cross? Remember and meditate on these things, this season? Think of the Other Christian brothers and sisters from around the world, the persecuted, the less privileged and the poor new Christian Brothers and sister! Pray for them! Educate them! Help them! And plead their cause! Build them! The new converts in your churches need your moral, social, financial, material and social support! Let us sing! That we are one in the Spirit and one in the Lord!!“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. (Ro.12:1)  The Blood of Christ is the beginning of the New Spiritual Order and authority:Jesus not only gave His body, as a person to go through the pangs of death; but He gave His life. He shed His blood! The centurion, who wanted to make sure the death of Jesus, pierced him on the side and Blood and water gushed out! (Jn.19:34). We know that in blood is life! …with out shedding of Blood there is no remission.(Heb.9;22) Let us consider the Spiritual experiences, and the Spiritual authority we have through the blood of Christ.“And He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, drink all of it; For this is the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. (Mt.26:27-28, Mk.14.23-24 Lk.22.17&20)1. Forgiveness of our sins.The Blood of Christ is the only provision by which our sins can be forgiven and the cause and effect factor. “…and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. (1Jn.1:&)And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.(1Jn2:2)And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us from our sins and washed us from our sins in his own blood. (Rev.1:5)Oh! Yes! Our sins are washed away with the blood of Christ!    2. We have peace with God through His blood.      “And , having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things     unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be the thins in earth or things in heaven. And     And you, that were some times alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet    Now hath he reconciled.(col1:20-21)            3. His blood makes us righteous.          “Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:           Whom  God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his      righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God.     (Ro.3:24-25)           “Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from the wrath           Through Him. (Heb.10:19&14) 8.      His blood make us holy:“ Wherefore Jesus also, that he sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered with out the gate. Let us go forth therefore unto him with out the camp, bearing his reproach.(heb.13:12-13) 9.      The Blood speaks better things on our behalf:And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.(Heb.12:24)Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witness, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us. The foreknowledge of God knew even before the foundation the foundation of the world that this southern states are going to be the diabolical manufacturing hose of Idolatry; with it's shrines and temples.Asias' biggest Jain temple is 2 K.M from where we exist. The god man "Sathia Sai baba" lives in the neighboring state of Karnataka. The god "Ayyappan's" temple is in Kerala state. The "Tirupathi Hills" another hill shrine where billions of Money is collected in a single day, besides gold and silver as Offering! And there are innumerable temples and shrines now being renovated and refurbished with the aids of the government to revive the power of religion in all regions of this country. The coming of the Lord will not happen, until this generation is reached for Christ. This generation is very modern, with the aroma of western culture, life style and even SINS. And persecution in India is on the raise all the time. On the 25 th of December, the Christians around the world were celebrating and were banqueting; while dozens of Churches in the state of Orissa were burnt down and the houses and the properties of Christians were dusted to ground! Brothers and sisters who read this article must realize that it is no more easy for the Indian New churches and believers any more. They are not accepted by the main line churches and on the other hand they are confused with the curse of divisions and denominations. And they have paid a heavy prize to become a Christian. Apostle Thomas was martyred by fanatical religious leaders. His blood will be calling on the Lord to save more people! He will be asking the Lord to send more sewers, preachers, healers and apostles. The coming of the Lord will not happen, until this generation is reached for Christ. This generation is very modern, with the aroma of western culture, life style and even SINS.

And persecution in India is on the  raise all the time. On the 25 th of December, the Christians around the world were celebrating and were banqueting; while dozens of Churches in the state of Orissa were burnt down and the houses and the properties of Christians were dusted to ground!

Brothers and sisters who read this article must realize that it is no more easy for the Indian New churches and believers any more. They are not accepted by the main line churches and on the other hand they are confused with the curse of divisions and denominations. And they have paid a heavy prize to become a Christian.

Apostle Thomas was martyred by fanatical religious leaders. His blood will be calling on the Lord to save more people! He will be asking the Lord to send more sewers, preachers, healers and apostles.
