The most exciting news heard in the Osborne camp in years has been posted over on Caden’s Page. There’s way to much to repeat over here so you will just have to jump over to Caden’s Page to read Christmas Plus.
HINT: The biggest news to tell is illustrated in the picture of Caden found inline in the post once you get over there on Caden’s Page. The detailed explanation can be found in the post.

RPPT - Right people, right places, right time
Posted On 08/06/2006 21:31:17
God is Good! It was my weekend to assist with the technical ministry at our church this week. We rotate teams about every three to four weeks. Our church is an extension campus of Seacoast Church in Mt. Pleasant, SC. The location/campus that I attend is in Summerville, SC. I will explain this "One Church many Locations" thing later for those who are interested. We often get visits from the senior staff members who com up for the day to join our services. This was one of those weekends. We all join up at about 7AM to setup. We have to setup because we have our church in a rented space that is used for other things during the week so we have to setup the stage, lighting, sound, nursery areas, etc. Anyway, we gathered for prayer at 7AM. The pastor joining us from the Mt. Pleasant (main campus) location was there at 7AM also. Our campus pastor asked if anyone had prayer requests. I raised my hand. I told about my 21 month old little boy Caden who had a pacemaker put in back in June. He went in last week for a cardiologist visit. The doctors basically said the pacemaker was not working right, or at least the lead running from the pacemaker to the heart was not working right and the doctors want to do another surgery to fix the problem. Our pastor prayed and then the visiting pastor (Sam) came over to talk to me. He asked what brand of pacemaker Caden had. I told him and his eyes lite up. He just so happens to be fishing buddies with the regional sales representative for this brand of pacemaker. He asked if I would like for him to mention Caden's case to his friend. I thought that would be a great idea. After all, it appears that the problem is with equipment. Even though the lead is not made by the same company as the pacemaker, maybe this guy could help us understand what is going on with this device and offer some suggestions. I know this may sound a little silly, but it was a big deal to me. I have missed my rotation on the tech team twice in a row due to Caden's surgery in June and my trip to the Growing Families International (GFI) convention in Dallas in July. It was a small miracle for Sam and I to run into each other at Seacoast Summerville at 7AM on a Sunday morning. I will let you know what come out of our getting Pastor Sam's friend involved.

What a blessing

I am pleased with this site. I have only been around here for a couple of days and I like what I see so far. It is a great place to come on the Internet to get encouraged by other people of faith. Glory to God!
