BE CAREFUL.....
Posted On 06/20/2007 11:33:49
IMPORTANT!--Be careful how you list names in your cell phone

This lady has changed her habit of how she lists her names on her Mobile phone after her handbag was stolen. Her handbag which contained her mobile, Credit card, purse...etc.... was stolen. 20 minutes later when she called her Husband, from a pay phone telling him what had happened, hubby says "I've Just received your text asking about our Pin number and I've replied a little while ago." When they rushed down to the bank, the bank staff told them all the money was already withdrawn. The pickpocket had actually used the stolen hand phone to text "hubby" in the contact list and got hold of the pin number. Within 20 minutes he had withdrawn all the money from the bank
account.

Moral of the lesson: Do not disclose the relationship between you And the people in your contact list. Avoid using names like Home, Honey, Hubby, sweetheart, Dad, Mom etc....... And very importantly, when Sensitive info is
being asked thru texts, CONFIRM by calling back. Also, when you're being texted by friends or family to meet them somewhere, be sure to call back to confirm that the message came from them. If you don't reach them, be very careful about going places to meet "family and friends" who text you.

PLEASE PASS THIS ON.

God Loves You, Have a BLESSED day !

WHAT ABOUT YOU?
Posted On 06/12/2007 10:12:10

WHAT ABOUT YOU?

Diligence is a persistent and hardworking effort to do something. What are you diligent about today? What’s your focus; your goal; your purpose and aim? What do you strive after, without letting up or giving in?

Some are seeking after financial gain; a position; a title. Some are diligently trying to fulfill a dream to go somewhere they’ve always wanted to go, or accomplish something that will give them recognition and acknowledgement. What about you? What are you persistently pursuing? What are you working hard to accomplish?

Whatever you are passionate about; whatever you desire most; whatever is in your heart, you will pursue. When you examine the areas of your life that you have been faithful and diligent in, does it compare with the persistence you have for learning God’s Word; to grow in Christian Characteristics; to keep His commandments; to pray and seek His will?It is the will of God for you to diligently seek Him.

“…for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6It is the will of God for you to diligently keep His commandments.

Ye shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and His testimonies, and His statutes…that it may be well with thee…” Deut. 6:17-18It is the will of God for you to keep your heart, putting boundaries on your desires, because it affects all that you do.

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” Proverbs 4:23

Be diligent in the things of God. Follow the example of your Lord and Savior. He was diligent to pray early in the morning; all night; in solitary places and in front of others!

He was diligent to learn, even as a child, so that He would please the Father. (Luke 2:49)

He was diligent to finish the work and the mission He was given

Jesus saith unto them, ‘My meat is to do the will of Him that sent Me, and to finish His work.” John 4:34What about you? WHAT ARE YOU DILIGENT ABOUT?

Are You a Threat?

"One day the evil spirit answered them, "Jesus I know, and I know about
Paul, but who are you?" - Acts 19:15

Breakfast With God
Tuesday, June 12, 2007

Good Morning Saints!

Are you a threat to the kingdom of darkness? If Satan and his demons
had a board meeting and your name came before the board, what would they say? Would they say that you are one of their most feared enemies and they
needed to keep many demons harassing and opposing you? Or would they say, "Gentlemen, this person poses no threat to our activities. Leave him
alone. He needs no help from us". There are millions of church-going
believers sitting in pews Sunday after Sunday who pose little threat to the
kingdom of darkness.

If we truly believe that we war against rulers and principalities that
cannot be seen, then we must realize that their mandate is to hinder
any believer who is seeking to walk in the fullness of God. Hoverer,
"greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world" (1 John 4:4 KJV)

If you are seeking to fully follow the Lord, you can expect harassment
from the enemy. God permits temptation because it drives us deeper into the
soil of God. These times reveal God's power to keep us and walk us through
the temptations. Our message becomes fruitful when it is born out of
obedience and suffering for His name. Do not consider it strange if you find
yourself fighting major battles the more obedient you become to the Master. God desires each of us to become a feared enemy of hell in order to affect
Satan's domain. When you begin to feel harassed, chances are you are
beginning to affect the kingdom of darkness, and Satan doesn't like
this. So, how many demons do you think are assigned to you?

mmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!! something to think about.

Have a Blessed Day, and know that God loves you, and so do I!!

In Him I Have My Strength!

GIVE!

GIVE!

“Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in
My house, and try Me now in this,’ says the Lord of hosts, ‘If I
will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such a
blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.” Malachi
3:10 NKJV

Tithing! We have all heard this scripture verse. This scripture is
used to remind us to give; to give our first and best; to give back to
God, a small portion of what He gives us. The scriptures remind us that He
will bless us and it goes on to say that He will rebuke the devourer
for our sakes. We will be blessed. How about increasing the blessing?
Give!

The question today is, would you consider tithing your life? Although
we need to always serve; pray; worship; praise; study; etc., it is so
easy to get caught up in day to day activities and routines. What would
you say to tithing your time each day? 10% of your waking hours, every
day, dedicated to God; dedicated to prayer, worship, studying, seeking?
10 % of your best time; your most alert time; uninterrupted time. Give!

Perhaps you can get up a couple of hours early; giving Him your first
and your best…preparing for your daily assignments and your daily
instructions; surrendering and yielding to hear from your
Father…everyday. Not for 10 minutes, not for 30 minutes; not as you run out to your
car, or while you are cooking breakfast…Just you, God and His Word.
Imagine how much more your blessings would be. If you didn’t just tithe
money, but you are actually giving of yourself. Without excuse; not
sporadically; not just on weekends; not just on Sunday…but as you would
owe Him time from each day, knowing that without Him you would not be
here today. Give!

Can you imagine the blessing He would pour out then? Can you imagine
the relationship you would have with your Father? Can you imagine how you
would be prepared for whatever you would face throughout the day?
Give!
“pray without ceasing…’ I Thess. 5:17
“study to show yourself approved…” 2 Tim. 2:15
“Seek the Lord while He may be found…”

WHEN GOD SEEMS SO FAR AWAY!

When God Seems Far Away!

"Why, O Lord, do You atand for off? Why do You hide Yourself in times
of trouble? Psalm 10:1

One of the great mysteries of God is His ways. Some of His ways almost
appear to bring us into the most difficult places, as if He were indifferent
to our circumstances. It would appear that He is turning His head from
your sorrows. These events in our lives have a particular objective to perform
for us. That objective is to bring us to the end of ourselves that we
might discover the treasure of darkness. "yet when I hoped for good, evil came; when I looked for light, them can darkness" (Job 30:26).

When we are taken into these dark periods, we begin to see light that
we never knew existed. Our sensitivities become heightened and our ability to see through spiritual eyes is illuminated. Unless we are taken into
these times, our souls never develop any depth of character. We do not gain
wisdom, only knowledge. Knowledge is gained through understanding; wisdom is gained through the experience of darkness.

As we go through these periods, we discover that God was, in fact, with
us throughout the entire time. It does not feel or appear that He is there
when we are in the midst of the dark periods. However, He is there walking
with us. When He is not walking with us, then He is carrying us. He has told
us countless times that He will never leave us. However, when we are in
those dark periods, it does not feel like He is there because He does not
rescue us from the circumstances. He does this for our benefit in order that
we might become more like Jesus. Jesus learned obedience from the things He suffered. What does that say about how you and I will learn obedience?
Embrace the dark times and gain the wisdom that God intends for you
from these times.

DRESSED UP, BUT MESSED UP!

DRESSED UP, BUT MESSED UP!

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.” Matthew 23:25

Jesus told the scribes and Pharisees that they looked righteous on the outside, but on the inside they were filled with hypocrisy (insincerity, double standards), and iniquity (sin, evil and injustice). In other words, ‘you are dressed up, but you are messed up!’ It’s time to look within. Jesus says if we cleanse the inside first, then the outside can be clean also. It doesn’t matter how holy you look; how neat you dress; how handsome you are or how pretty your face…If you are messed up on the inside, it does not matter if you are dressed up on the outside.

Sunday morning; you put on your nice outfit with your new hairstyle, or fresh hair cut; you smell good, and you walk with grace. You paint a smile on your face, and begin your typical, usual, fake greetings. “Praise God! Good morning!…I’m blessed! I’m so glad to be in God’s house!”

You sing in the choir, usher at the door, you are a deacon, preacher, pastor or maybe a Sunday school teacher….You serve, shout and sing while in the ‘building.’ Now it is over; the mask comes off, the smile turns upside down; instead of shouting praises, you are shouting at your spouse, or at your children. Instead of thanking God, you are asking Him, ‘why am I going through such turmoil?’ Instead of studying the Word, you at home having impure thoughts, watching unclean shows, listening to filthy songs; you are hanging out with the ungodly, not because you are witnessing to them, but because you fit in with them.

You are dressed up on the outside, and messed up on the inside. You can’t continue to ignore your habits, hang-ups and hurts. You can’t keep hiding your thoughts, secret sin and feelings of failure. It’s time to stop the ‘show.’ it’s time to start cleaning house, on the inside. Begin to seek God for healing, deliverance, peace, strength, a clean heart and a renewed Spirit.

Stop trying to impress people and let’s get real…the church is filled with ‘dressed up, messed up’ people! And if no one starts to acknowledge it, a lot of people will go to church, die and go to hell!

Because God looks at the heart….We need a cleansing; ON THE INSIDE!

“Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.” James 4:8

JUST DON'T GET WEARY!
Posted On 05/16/2007 16:44:31

JUST DON’T GET WEARY!

But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.” II Thessalonians 3:13

You keep moving; doing; going and trying, and sometimes it feels like it’s all in vain. Sometimes you don’t see the results right away; sometimes you want to give up and give in. Sometimes you feel like it is not worth it; sometimes it seems that the suffering and sacrifice is not worth it and no one appreciates it. But, brethren be not weary in well doing.

The enemy would love for you to tire out and quit running for Christ; he would love for you to give up on your child, your spouse, your job, your ministry, your vision, your dream, your calling and your mission. But God says, ‘No.’ Just be patient…It’s coming, if you do not faint; if you do not give up!

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Galatians 6:9

Can you just wait on God? Don’t lose hope, even if no one can see what you see; believe what you believe or lift you up when you are down. Just wait on God, and He will turn it all around. (If you do not get weary.)

If you wait on God; continue to do good; continue to move forward; continue to follow His lead, He will give you strength to go on and He will show you that your work was not in vain ; your faithfulness was not for nothing and it was not forgotten. Just don’t get weary.

“But they that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31

NO WEAPON!

NO WEAPON…

“No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me.’ says the Lord.” Isaiah 54:17 NKJV

Aren’t you glad that no matter what the enemy throws at you, ‘no weapon formed against you shall prosper’? It doesn’t mean that you won’t face attacks; it doesn’t mean that you won’t have trials and tribulations; it doesn’t mean that people won’t try to hurt you and come against you…..But it does mean that ‘no weapon formed against you shall prosper‘. It means that even though trouble comes, it won’t take you out and it won’t take you down. God will fight your battles, protecting you from the darts of the enemy. Those coming against you will actually be going against God, because God is on your side.

And we know that, “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.”

“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31 NKJV

Don’t be discouraged, because whatever and whoever is trying to take you down will not succeed, because ‘No weapon formed against you shall prosper.”

Sure the attacks are designed to destroy you; to bring you down; to make you discouraged and depressed. But if you trust God; if you keep your mind stayed on Him; if you acknowledge Him in all your ways, and submit to His will, then, ’No weapon formed against you shall prosper.”

“Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” James 4:7 NKJV

“No weapon formed against you shall prosper….”
