Baby C's

I take my 2 & 3 yob to the library on a certain day for Story Time. The lil ol lady who is in charge is ... I believe is in her 80's. I usally sit near by and do some business on the computer. Well, during one of her stories my 3yob stops her and tells her " I can burp my 'baby C's'" ( ABC's) I bust out laughing and the lil ol lady says 'well, What ever you said your mom thought it was funny." Then She hounded me to  tell her what he really said and I tried through laughing tears. When I finally told her she just said "huff" and turned and walked away!

She must think I am a horrible mother but with 3 small ones I have to find humor in soooo many things or I will become looney! I am proud my son can burp his baby C's. If he feels that is an accomplishment then..... you go boy!

I have to share a moment that happened this weekend with my lil 3 yob. My dear friend, abba-fathers_girl, and her family and my family all went to the beach this weekend and had a blast.We fished,played frisbee,played in the sand...flew a kite (HI Aunt Nina).Well... my 3yob picked up a 6 inch crocker (fish) that one of us caught. He played with that fish like it was he newest best friend. He drove it around like a car, tucked it up under his arm, sticking his finger in it's mouth.....but we could not get him to throw it back in the water. This went on for hours. Finally we were getting ready to leave and I told him to go down to the water and throw his fish "back to it's mommy" and he went to the edge of the waves and I turned around to get my 5 yob ready to go home. I then turned back to my 3yob and he was ready to get in the car. I stopped him and said told him we had to wash off before we left so I took him back to the water and took off his "Gilligan" hat and under his hat... ON HIS HEAD was this 6" fish!!!!!!!! He was taking it home! Can you imagine the smell in the car all the way home or getting home and finding this thing had been on his head??? After the shock of standing there holding up the fish in my boys hat and yelling at their daddy to see the clever stunt his son had pulled I rolled laughing. He thought he was going to be in trouble so the look on his face was priceless when all I could do was laugh ...and laugh! Then came Aunt Nina with some hermit crabs that he had ALREADY put in the car! He cried when we had to send his fish and the hermit crabs (his babies) back to their mommies. He has such a Big heart. My baby,My Joy! He soon forgot about his fish when we got home and he could play with his brothers and 4 cousins. But for keepsake... we did get pictures of him and his fish

I heard a man say ~ You know you hear some people sit down and say Oh I am just going to sit here and wait on God. Wait on God to tell them, show them, I don't know come down a wallup then on the head? How do you know God is not WAITING ON YOU? Waiting for you to get up and do something. Waiting on you to get your life in order so He can talk to you. Waiting on you to ASK. You have got to act! Yes, there are some times you need to just be still and let God be God, but in those times you need to be seeking God and not just sitting and waiting! Yup Yup!! I gotta agree!

As the world looks upon me as I struggle along. And they think I have nothing, but they are so wrong. In my heart, I'm rejoicing, and how I wish they could see; Thank You, LORD, for Your blessings on me. I know I'm not wealthy and these clothes are not new. Vending machine sermon

Do you ever feel your pastors sermons are vending machine sermons. Push a button and get it handed to them? The ones that have their sermons pre written out? What ever happened to the Holy Ghost/Bible inspired preachers? The kind that hang onto the pulpit and close their eyes and preach. Preach with out fear of stepping on toes or hurting Ms/Mr Holier than Thou Snooty Patooty's feelings? The preachers who preached hell fire and brimstone.The preacher who preached if you do such and such you are going to hell!, and this is what you have to do to get to Heaven....This is what you have to do to walk a straight and narrow path! I think we need to hear the Truth and quick kitty footing around and quit worrying about offending someone. My biggest fear is standing there on Judgement Day and facing the souls that are going to Hell and them turning to me and saying Why didn't you tell me ? you knew the Truth Why didn't you tell me? You never mentioned Him to me! Whew! sorry guys I just needed to vent.

Good Day (1st Verse) The ship was rocking from the storm. The disciples cried in fear they would be harmed. Somebody spoke up, the Lord's not here. We're sure to perish, does he not care. Tomorrow is uncertain; As today was yesterday. But we're granted all assurance, when we kneel down and pray. Our Heavenly Father, knows the future and the past; He'll see us through whatever comes; We only have to ASK. Tomorrow's one day closer, to Heaven's perfect plan; It's good to know that while we wait, He holds us in His hands. No matter is too great, no measure is too small! He knows our needs our souls He'll feed, if on His name we'll call. So if the days are filled with sunshine, or if, they're dark and cold; As long as I have Jesus, I can face tomorrow.
