Help…I need your feedback. This Sunday morning I sit here with a sad heart. Please read all of this. Help me to try and understand something. As many of you know on April 25th I had a terrible dispute with the Sims record label about getting the re-recording of “Travel On Our Knees” along with “Keep On Keepin’ On finished. I had hundreds of people inform me that they wanted to be part of donating to the Virginia Tech tragedy. Thank God KMA records and Miranda promotions picked me up within hours of losing my agreement with Sims records. I spent a great deal of money to have the music done to these songs and get them re-recorded so I could donate the song “Travel On Our Knees” to a much needed cause. After speaking with the CEO of IAC Music (the site where my songs can be downloaded) and Paypal. I got the report. The reason I did this I just couldn’t believe my records were only showing this song being downloaded seven times in which three of the downloads came from me. The names of the individuals and the dates these individuals downloaded the songs matched up to the records I had. There were hundreds of people sent me emails saying or claiming they were going to download this song. My question is now….What has happened.? Is there trouble understanding the process? Please let me know. I went through the process three different times myself to make sure everything was working correctly with both PayPal and IAC Music. I am dealing personally with Bob Smothers at Virginia Tech on this donation commitment I made to them and Virginia Tech. It’s sad to inform them I’ve raised $7.00 for them in a matter of a week. Sad thing is $3.00 of this is my own money. I ask you……you are my friends and fans. I love you all dearly. Please be honest with me. Is the song that bad? Is a one dollar donation to Virginia Tech and issue? Is not my music worth listening to? I try hard to be a blessing to all of you. I strive and sacrifice my personal life to get my music out there and meet wonderful people as you. I put my music career out on a line to benefit a much needed cause with no income whatsoever going in to my pocket for this particular song. Yes, my hopes are you would download the others as well. This would help me to raise the necessary monies to complete my entire CD project. Folks, I must know say what’s in my heart……If I was starving to death and had to rely on selling my music in order to survive, I wouldn’t. I’m almost convinced to hang it up but I keep trusting the Lord that He would use me according to His will.Your feedback would truly be appreciated. God Bless You AllWith Love in Christ Jesus.Rick (Levi) Amburgeyhttp://www.rickamburgey.org
Hello to all of you. I love ya all.
Wanted to let you know I went into the studio this past Wednesday April 18, 2007 and recorded two new songs. Actually one of them you may have heard but it's been revised in honor of the massacre at Virgina Tech College. The title of that song being "Travel On Our Knees".
These two songs should be on my player available for download by next weekend the 28th of April if not sooner.
Folks, I stepped out on a fine line to get these songs recorded. It even costed me a contract with my previous label due to the fact that I wanted to send a message across the world.....It's time for all of us to Travel On Our Knees to these loved ones of the students that lost their lives. Thank God KMA Records believed in what I was doing and these folks are going out of their way to assist me in getting this song mastered and out there ASAP.
Your support is truly appreciated....Not only in a financial way but a supportive way that we may get this song out across the world. God will bless you. Please download the song and tell all of your friends, family, and local radio stations. WE MUST GET THIS SONG OUT THERE. IT CAN ONLY BE DONE WITH YOUR HELP AND ASSISTANCE.
Please.....keep checking back. As soon as I get the song back from KMA Records you'll be the first to hear it, download it, and have the opportunity to Travel On Our Knees to all of those who lost their sons and daughters in this ungodly massacre.
THANK YOU ALL.... I LOVE YOU ALL WITH ALL MY HEART. GOD BLESS YOU

PLEASE....PLEASE...PLEASE REPOST THIS DAILY FOR ALL OF YOUR FRIENDS TO SEE.
Today I'm a New Person
As a child I was slave to my impulses's ; Now I am slave to my habit's. I have surrendered my free will to the years of accumulated habits and the past deeds of my life have already marked out a path which threatens to imprison my future. My actions are ruled by appetite, passion, prejudice, greed, love, fear, and environmental habit. The worst of these tyrants is habit.
Therefore, if I must be a slave to habit, let me be a slave to good habits. My bad habits must be destroyed and new furrows prepared for good seed, I will form good habits and become their slave.
Today my old skin has become as dust. I will walk tall among men and they will know me not, for today I am a new person, with a new life.
Today I begin a new life, I will shed my old skin which hath, to long, suffered the bruises of failure and the wounds of mediocrity.
I will not fail, as others, for in my hands I hold the Word of God which will guide me through perilous waters to shores which only yesterday seemed but a dream.
Failure will no longer be my payment for struggle. Just as nature made no provision for my body to tolerate pain. Neither has it made any provision for my life to suffer failure. Failure, like pain, is alien to my life.
I must practice the art of patience for nature acts never in haste. To create the olive, king of all trees, a hundred years is required.
Only principles endure, and these I now possess. For the laws that will lead me to greatness are contained in God's Word.
Principles I will follow
1. I will greet each day with love in my heart
2. I will persist until I succeed.
3. I will never consider defeat
4. I will not allow yesterdays success to lure me into today's complacency, for this is the
great foundation of failure.
5. I will win
6. I am God's greatest miracle.
7. I will live each day as if it were my last.
8. The duties of today I shall fulfill today.
9. Today I will master my emotions.
10. I will laugh at the world.
11. Today I will multiply my value a hundred fold.
12. I will not procrastinate--I will act now.
13. Have faith.
14. Never will I pray for the material things of this world.
Galatians 6:7-8
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
It would certainly be a surprise if you planted corn in the ground and pumpkins came up. But it probably would not be a surprise if you gossiped about your friends and soon found you had no friends. It's a law of life--- both physical and spiritual---that you reap what you sow. Every action has results. If you plant to please your own desires ("soweth to the flesh"), you'll reap a crop of sorrow and evil; if you plant to please God, you'll reap joy and everlasting life. What kind of seeds are you sowing in the soil of your life?

Your Choice
There are only two paths of life
before us--- God's way of
obedience or the way of
rebellion and destruction.
By choosing your pathway,
you choose your eternity
Proverbs 11:14
Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.
A good leader needs and uses wise counselors. One person's perspective and understanding is severely limited; he or she may not have all the facts or may be blinded by bias, emotions, or wrong impressions. To be a wise leader at home, at church, or at work, seek the counsel of others and be open to their advice. Then, after considering all the facts, make your decision.
Leadership Since many of the proverbs came from King Solomon, it is natural to expect some of his interests to be directed toward leadership.
Qualities of good leadership Prov Ref
Hard Work 12:24
Reliable communication 13:17
Don't penalize people for good behavior or reward evil people 17:26
Know the facts before making decisions 18:13

Listen to both sides of the story 18:17
Wise planning and common sense 24:3,4

Have You Taken It to Jesus?
Have you taken it to Jesus?
Have you left your burden there?
Does He tenderly support you?
Have you rolled on Him your care?
O, the sweet unfailing refuge
Of the everlasting arms;
In their loving clasp enfolded
Nothing worries or alarms.
Have you taken it to Jesus,
Just the thing that's pressing now?
Are you trusting Him completely
With the when, where, and how?
Oh, the joy of full surrender
Of our life, our plans, our all;
Proving, far above our asking
That God answers when we call.
Have you taken it to Jesus?
"Tis the only place to go
If you want the burden lifted
And a solace for your woe.
Oh, the blessedness to nestle
Like a child upon His breast;
Finding ever, as He promised
Perfect comfort, peace and rest.
Two Cripples
Two Cripples entered a church one day;
Crippled--but each in a different way.
One had a body strong and whole,
But it sheltered a warped and twisted soul;
The other walked with a halting gait,
But his soul was tall and fair and straight.
They shared a pew, they shared a book,
But on each face was a different look.
One was alight with hope and joy
and faith that nothing could destroy;
The other joined not in prayer or hymn;
No smile relaxed his features grim.
His neighbor had wronged him--his heart
was sore--
He thought of himself and nothing more.
The words that were read from the Holy Book
Struck deafened ears and a forlorn look.
To one came comfort--his soul was fed;
The other gained nothing from what was said.
Two cripples left the church that day;
Crippled--but in a different way.
A twisted foot did one body mar,
But the twisted soul was sadder far.
TRAVELING ON OUR KNEES
Last night I took a journey
To a land far 'cross the seas;
I didn't go by boat or plane,
I traveled on my knees.
I saw so many people there
In deepest depths of sin,
And Jesus told me I should go
That there were souls to win.
But I said, "Jesus, I can't go
And work with such as these."
He answered quickly, "Yes you can
By traveling on your knees."
He said, "You pray; I'll meet the need.
You call and I will hear;
Be concerned about lost souls,
Of these both far and near."
I knelt in prayer, and tried it,
Giving up some hours of ease;
I felt the Lord right by my side
While traveling on my knees.
As I prayed on I saw souls saved
And twisted bodies healed
Saw God's workers strength renewed
While laboring on the field.
I said, "Yes Lord, I have a job,
My desire thy will to please;
I can go and heed thy call
By traveling on my knees."
