(NLT) 1 Tim 6:3 Some people may contradict our teaching, but these are the wholesome teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. These teachings promote a godly life. 4 Anyone who teaches something different is arrogant and lacks understanding. Such a person has an unhealthy desire to quibble over the meaning of words. This stirs up arguments ending in jealousy, division, slander, and evil suspicions. 5 These people always cause trouble. Their minds are corrupt, and they have turned their backs on the truth. To them, a show of godliness is just a way to become wealthy.
6 Yet true godliness with contentment is itself great wealth. 7 After all, we brought nothing with us when we came into the world, and we can’t take anything with us when we leave it. 8 So if we have enough food and clothing, let us be content.
9 But people who long to be rich fall into temptation and are trapped by many foolish and harmful desires that plunge them into ruin and destruction. 10 For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And some people, craving money, have wandered from the true faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows.
Paul’s Final Instructions
11 But you, Timothy, are a man of God; so run from all these evil things. Pursue righteousness and a godly life, along with faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness. 12 Fight the good fight for the true faith. Hold tightly to the eternal life to which God has called you, which you have confessed so well before many witnesses.
God is calling all of His people to totally come out of this world in which we live in. In the verse :8 says that we are to be content in food and clothing not having the things of the world weighing us down from following Him. The lust of the FLESH has us BOUND to this world system, that is the Job of our enemy, setting up snares of the world to keep us to the world instead of being content of what He has already provided for us which is our needs not our wants.
(KJV) Mat 6:32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
Mat 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Mat 6:34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
God already knows what we need and He has already provided it for us. It was taken care of on the Calvary. So we need to except it bu faith and depend on His for everything , not depend on the world to provide our needs. Satans job is to get God's people off of the narrow path following God by sowing doubt and unbelief. So depend on our Heavenly Father for everything.

Against these lies, you must be strong. Perhaps it is time to put a sign on the TV set that says, "This is the voice of Satan." The world's slick magazines should have a sticker on the cover saying,
"Baloney!" Ah, the dulcet voice of this world believe it not! This world don't fall in love with it!
1Jo 2:15 Do not love or cherish the world or the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in him.
Sure hope that this thread has spoken to your Spirit man to get you to rethink where you are at with the Lord Jesus Christ. We don't want to like the world or we will be judged with them at that appointed time. We are suppose to be acting like Jesus Christ did when He was on the earth, being set apart from the WORLD.

John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
John 15:17 These things I command you, that ye love one another.
John 15:18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
John 15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
So what have we done to our walk with Him if we where called by Him? Never made the separation from this world in which we live in, not to be a part of it at all but to be a wittiness in it fir Him.It sure seems today that the world has gotten a mighty hold on Christians of today in this Country that we live in.
So why don't we live for Him now like He has told us to do?
By getting out of our self Centered life style.If today this world in which we live in is getting worse so then why do we want to hang on to it and hold to their hearts, that is insane.If today the Beast or the Antichrist had taken power would Christians take the Mark of the Beast? Only the people that are walking with GOD:
(Psalms 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.Psalms 91:2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.)
So God is trying to get His people to walk with Him by obeying what His Son has told us to do in our daily life's. That is not hard at all if you are out of your self centered life style.

The church needs to let go of the world so that God can come back to the church again. The people that are attending only come to give God only one hour of there time so that GOD can bless them. That is not the way our Father operated. First we have to die to our self centered ways of living.
Matthew 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
Matthew 16:25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
Matthew 16:26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
Does the people want to pa y the price that God is asking them to do, if Jesus did it so can we do the same. Man doesn't want to separate Himself from the world.
James 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
We as Christians still have our man made programs, church building programs, etc. That is not separating ourself from the world, just being chained and bound to it. Jesus Christ is commanding us here in the scriptures to not be apart of this world, if we have not done the separation form the world we are still a friend of the world.
God can't be our friend if we still have the self centered life style.
The people that makes the church has to get God back into their life's again and set the world out.
To do that we have to give ourselves to prayer again not just coming to God an ask Him to bless our self centered ideas and stuff. He is not a gimme God, just give me everything I want. It is not about you it is all about Him.
God is the GOD of ALL.

There where NO wise men here in this scripture.
Matthew 2:7 Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared.
Matthew 2:8 And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also.
Matthew 2:9 When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.
Matthew 2:10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.
Matthew 2:11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.
As you can tell this time of the year is only about what you can buy to make the receiver of the gifts to be happy. No the real gift that was brought down from heaven which was a small baby that is a King. As you can read from the scriptures from above in verse Matthew 2:9 that the wise men followed the star until it was over the child. How many people of today seek to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit to Christ. When they found the star over the child they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. How many of the so called Christians do that today for Christ when they find Him in there secret place each morning if they have this time with Him. When the wise men came into the house they saw the young child an fell down and worshiped Him, bring gifts with them to give to the King. Do we do that today when we come into His presence? I don't think so, why not are we to good to do that? Really to be honest with you all Christians of today only what to serve Him when they feel like it or just on Sunday mornings an the live the other 6 days like they want to. He is not pleased by this action of His so called people. The road with Him is straight an a narrow way, only the ones who what to pay the price, we need to count the cost that we are expected to do when we serve the Lord Jesus Christ. We need to be seeking Christ all of the time an looking everywhere to find Him this time of the year. Really Jesus Christ was not born at this time of the year, only the world wanted to have it at this time of the year to MAKE MONEY which is Commercialism.

 The church has let the world into the church especially this time of the year. The season is suppose to be about the Virgin Birth of Jesus, not the Commercialism that is going during Christmas. We go down the road in the cities that we live in an are drawn into all of the shopping places by the big BLACK HOLE. The gravity of the buying syndrome of the perfect gift to give to the someone that we want to make happy by buying them STUFF to feed their FLESHLY DESIRES, thinking that it or the STUFF that was bought would fill that void with Happiness. Well you are very wrong in that type of thinking. The only thing that is the perfect gift all year long to give is JESUS CHRIST. So let the light of Christ shine from you all year long not just this time of the year. Bring Christ to their hearts an share His Birth an Resurrection.

1. Not grateful;not feeling thankful for favors.
2. Not making returns, or making ill returns for kindness.
3. Making nore turns for culture; as an ungrateful soil
4. Unpleasing; unacceptable. Harsh sounds are ungrateful to the ear. The nation in which we live is VERY Ungrateful for what they have. The people that are living in this nation only think about themselves and not others. We have the tendencies to focus on ME, all about us and what we can get for ourselves. The technology of today’s age is all about convince to us. We live in a very Materialism world. The time that we spend watching the T.V. it puts thoughts into our minds that feed the flesh. Then ourself centered nature the fallen man try’s to take over telling us that we need to own this thing that will give us the happiness that we are missing. We are to take captive all the thoughts that come into our mind. 2Co 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; So as you can read here in the scriptures that we are to guard our hearts by taking captive the thoughts thatdon’t line up with the word of GOD. We as a nation especially thistime of the season which is Christmas. We are just going about trying to findthe RIGHT gift to give to someone so that we can feel good about ourselves. We are missing the whole concept about giving; we are supposed to be doing that all year long. But the thing that should be first in all is putting Christ first. Do we even put GOD first in the things that we do all of the rest of the year? We as a nation has missed this, we need to be getting back to putting God the very first thing on our list of things to do.
So in all we should be grateful and thankful to GOD for what we have as a nation, personal. Here is also what we should be doing: 1Th 5:16 Rejoice evermore. 1Th 5:17 Pray without ceasing. 1Th 5:18 In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 1Th 5:19 Quench not the Spirit. So everyone pleas keep the LORD GOD first in you all lives 7days a week not just 1day a week like most so called Christians do. Be Grateful and Thankful for what God has given. When we SEE an ever-increasing Christ Who is destined to fill all things then we will be delivered from smallness and
narrow-mindedness. We do not overcome a thing by focusing our attention and directing our energies against that THING. "Things" will keep us busy from morning until night, and from night until
morning. May GOD deliver us from "things" and show us His Son! We
