Ok, I have to write this little blog because I have noticed that a lot of people are saying bad things about themselves and are pulling themselves down and cursing themselves with their words. Don't do it! It is time that we as Christians began to speak God's words over our lives rather then the lies from the devil. I want each and every one of you to know that you are special. Truely you are! Did you know that God's word says that you are so special that even your tears are kept in a bottle!!!!!!! Now that is precious! God loves you so very much! I know that you know this. I know that you know that God sent His precious son to stand in our places! It is time now that we live like we believe it. Begin to speak God's words over your life. I want you to know that I love you all so much that I hate seeing the pain that you are in and would love to be able to encourage you. Stand strong in the Lord. Hold tight to the hem of His garment. And above all know that you are never alone and are alway precious! Love in Christ, Pastor Kristin
In October my little brother ("35" this week LOL still call him little) got married to a lady in China. He has been waiting for all their paper work to go through which takes anywhere from 8 to 15 months or more to be processed.
In the mean time he is here and his wife and new daughter are still in China. But in April he is going there for a visit and he invited me and my husband to come along. What a wonderful opportunity!
Unfortunately my husband wasn't able to get that week off but being the generous and caring person he is he agreed to let me go to China with my brother if I could come up with the funding to do so.
Let me tell you... the Lord has been opening doors and doors and more doors. It is amazing to see God working. I was able to get most of the plane tickets with points that my husband gets at work. Praise God. The only one I couldn't get that way was the flight inside China. But I was able to save up enough for that and the visa.
I am so excited and I am praising the Lord for everything He is doing to make this happen. God is so good. Never in a million years did I think I would have the chance to go to China. It is such a wonderful opportunity to reach out to others for the Lord. Even though I am not going for ministry purposes I pray that the Lord will open up doors for that as well.
As for raising the funds for the rest of the trip and for blessing others with while I am there well, I am a little behind on that but I am praying that God will open up more doors for that as well. I started selling Daisy Blue Naturals items to help get extra funding for family and ministry work in November. I am just beginning so I have not done very many in home spas yet but I have a big one next monday.
I am praying that that will help me get to my goals for what I need to take to China. That would be such a blessing.
Have any of you been to China? If so did you go and do ministry? Do you have any advise?
It is my prayer that God will use me in China to do what ever He would have me do and to impact lives for Jesus!
I just wanted to share my exciting news with everyone!
Have a wonderful day!

Last week was a struggle for me, physically, emotionally and spiritually! I was put through the ringer going to 5 doctor appointments in one week! It was awefull! I was put on drug by the doctor which I do not like. I am hoping and praying that God will get me off them soon! Anyways in the midst of all the trials last week my husband and I took more time with God! It was so important and allowed me to keep my eyes focused on what I knew God would do and how I could share the victory that God has given me with others. To make a long story short I am still praying for healing from several different things but God has done a miracle in my life in the midst of the turmoil. I can see! Literally not figuratively! I have had glasses for over 20 years. Now in the midst of my trial and trough prayer and blessing from the Lord my vision is healed. Now my perscriptions were that high to begin with but it was getting worse and I was going to be getting new glasses soon. Now I don't need them at all. I woke up yesterday morning and could see everything. Then I put on my glasses and it got blurry! It was a miracle! Since I had a doctors appointment that morning I had to drive with my glasses practically hanging off the end of my nose so that I could look over the top of them....I didn't want to get in trouble for not wearing them because it says I have to on my license. Anyways when I was in the doctors room I could read all the way down to the bottom of the chart 20/15! It is truely a miracle of God! God is so good! I am so excited! The doctors thought it was because my blood sugar was being fixed that I could see better...but it couldn't be all that because my blood sugar was normal until recently! I told them it was a miracle and I know it was!!! God is my great physician! I have been asking the Lord to heal me...but I never asked for my sight to be healed. It is amazing how God cares for even the littlest details in our lives! I know that God will continue this good work of healing He has begun! I am hanging on to the hem of your garment Jesus and I won't let got untill I am completely healed!!!!! Praise God!!!! He is good and Hi mercies are great!!!! :-) Pastor Kristin
Don't Let the "I'm Busy's" Take Over... Living a Life of Worship When I woke up this morning the "I'm Busy's" began to attack. This week I am preparing for an arts and crafts show on our Island this weekend. I make natural soaps, mineral cosmetics and gemstone jewelry. I have a lot of work to do for this weekend. I have to make all new stuff because I do not like to keep an iveventory. So now not only to I have to make things but I also have to organize them, figure out how to display them and I have to label them as well. To be honest I wasn't even going to log on this morning. My husband and I make all the money for our outreach ministry so it is very important that I make as many things as possible to sell this weekend. I deffinently felt way too busy....too busy to read the word... too busy to pray... too busy to work on my ministry email... too busy to post and encouraging word...to busy to eat... too busy to sleep. Just way too busy! The "I'm busy's" had totally taken over my morning, so much so that I began to feel overwelmed and scattered. When the "I'm busy's" take over this bad there is only one thing to do. Stop, breath, and pray. Prayer can give you just enough peace to help sort out and stomp on all the "I'm busy's". Prayer can also help you get your day in order. When you pray you realize what is really important. It sure isn't the "I'm busy's". "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 In the above verse we see that prayer with out ceasing is one of the three most important parts of God's will for our lives. If we leave it out then we our opening ourselves up for un-neccesary stress, worry, confusion and fears. By continuing to pray throughout our day not only are we keeping the dialogue open with God but we are also making it possible to hear the still small voice guiding us away from things that may harm us. So don't let those "I'm busy's" take over. Instead take some time to pray, refocus and have a great day!
Have you ever recieved a rose from a stranger? Say you are walking along the street and suddenly a stranger comes up to you are gives you the most beautiful rose you have ever seen. It smells so wonderful that you were amazed there was no bees in it and it thorns were carefully cut off so when they handed it to you it does not prick your hand. Would you not say thank you to the kind stranger who gave you this beautiful rose. I am pretty sure you would...esspecially if you were having a hard day. You would be so touched by this amazing gift that came at just the right time to cheer you up. What if I said someone already handed you a rose today? It is true. God gave His son Jesus, the Rose of Sharon, for you as a sacrifice. Jesus took the thorns for you in his brow and his life was given so that you would not have to know the sting of death. The sweet smell is that of the victory that Jesus had over death and of the anointing that he has given us. When you were given such a beautiful rose, how could you not thank God every day for this wonderful gift. When ever you are having a hard time think about the beautiful rose, Jesus, and thank God for the new life he has given you! Read what prompted this teaching at www.jcfaith.com/groups/?id551 and look for the topic sacrifice of praise!
Importance of Prayer....Living a Life of Worship Psalms 5 1. Give ear to my words, O Lord, consider my meditation. 2. Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my king, and my God: for unto thee will I pray. 3. My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up. Today I was thinking about what I should write about as it pertains to living a life of worship and prayer kept sticking in my heart and in the verses I read. Prayer is an integral part of living a life of worship. In the verse above from Psalms we see the importance of starting each day with prayer. When we start out each morning praying to God we open up our lives to live in the will of the Lord for each day. We become more focused on what we can do for others as well as what we can do to praise and glorify God. It sets the tone for our days. Does it take a specific prayer or a specific time. No...absolutly not! We can use the form of prayer that Jesus taught us in the Lord's prayer because that is a good formula to follow but sometimes we just need to have a one on one chat with our Abba Father. Form and ritual is not what the Lord wants for our lives. He wants to have an intimate relationship with His creation...you, me and everyone He created. My challenge for you is to atleast say good morning to the Lord every morning and then say a little prayer. You will then see how that begins to break down barriers in your life. Have you prayed today?
Join the TV off Revolutoion! What is the TV Off Revolution? Quite simply it is about having a healthier relationship with the TV and having it off more then it is on when at home or whereever else TV is watch. With all the violence on TV's now days and all the other garbage there is a rise in toxins released in our bodies. When we view things that are toxic it causes adrenaline and other hormons in our bodys to react sometimes causing toxic reactions such a indegestion and more serious heart problems. How can you join the TV Off Revolution? It doesn't take a hugely dramatic total ban of TV to join. It simply takes one simple act. Just turn off the TV during meal times to start. Limit TV to a few hours a day...not all day! Not only will this save you from harmful toxins built up in your body but it will also save money on your power bill and save green house gasses! It is win win win win for you, your family, your funds and for the environment! Yeah! I have to admit that I was one of the biggest TV users on the face of the planet. I turned it on in the morning to hear the news and left it on all day while I worked in another room just for background noise....why? There are way better options for background noise that I have found so I have replace the TV with music. There is toxic music but I choose to listen to music that is not toxic to me. It up lifts me and makes the day go more smoothly. I still plan on watching a few of my favorite shows each week but I want to have a more peaceful home so I am going to try to keep it off as much as possible. Oh and sometimes it is nice just to sit quietly and listen to the noises that come from your environment! Give your ears and eyes a break! Join me! Let me know how you have joined the TV Off Revolution and how it impacts your life! Start Today!
Resurrection Sunday- not Easter! Living in a small community my husband and I received several mass mailing postcards from local churches asking us to attend their "Easter" service. This upset me greatly! Why would she be upset you may be asking your self? Or doesn't she believe in the Resurrection? The answer is quite simple! Yes I believe in the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Yeshua (Jesus)! I also believe that we should celebrate the resurrection bringing honor and glory to God! Here is what I don't believe in... Easter. Easter is the name of a pagan goddess who was also know as Ishtar, Eostre, Eastra, and Ostara. Each year at the at the Vernal Equinox pagan religions would celebrate the fertility goddesses ability to cause the god of vegetation, farming or planting to be reborn. This gods name was know as Attis or Tammuz. It is said that the weaping and mourning Ishtar does for Tammuz culminates in this fertility ritual time at the equinox. This is where the name Easter comes from. It does not come from the Word of God! It is a pagan celebration where they do rituals for fertility. It is said that around 300 AD the Christians began to have disagreements with those in pagan religions to whether Yeshua (Jesus) or the pagan god Tammuz (Attis) was the real resurrected deity. This is around the time that Christians began to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus around the time of the Jewish Passover. So why the bunnies and eggs? These too are signs of fertility used in pagan religions. Is it wrong to give our children Easter egg baskets and bunnies on resurrection Sunday? The answer is simply YES! Why should we as Christians standing for righteousness, believe solely on the word of God be adding pagan rituals into our celebrations? We shouldn't! We should simply celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior. I want to issue a challenge to all pastors around the world to begin to call your Easter Celebrations "Resurrection Sunday" and to begin to stand in righteousness not hindered by pagan beliefs. Churches around the world have easter egg hunts, easter egg decorating contests, and some even give out bunnies to the children. It is time we as the Bride of Christ demand that Ishtar not be celebrated or honored in our churches! Celebrate Yeshua... not Ishtar and Tammuz. God gave Ezekiel a vision of the temple in the future and here is what he saw: Ezekiel 8 14 Then he brought me to the entrance to the north gate of the house of the LORD , and I saw women sitting there, mourning for Tammuz. Read all of Ezekiel 8 and you will see even more similarities to churches of today who say they are standing in righteousness but bring idols in their temples! I pray that all pastors who read this will take me up on this challenge for next year and will tear down the idol of jealousy (The celebration of false deities) in their temples and churches! Thanks for reading this. In Yeshua, Pastor Kristin
Calling all those who are called to Exort, uplift and encourage. Be encouraged! Your work is important to the Lord. He has called you to spread His joy, love, peace, patience and understanding. You are important to the Kingdom of God. Without you the Body of Christ would grow weak and weary. Stand Firm, press forward, and know that God has blessed you with a very special gift. I know that it can be hard to encourage others when you yourself are weary but do not let this stop your very important work. Galatians 6:9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Press on, reach out, do not fall from your duties and know that as you step out in faith and do God's will for your life He will be there with you! If you are weary ask someone to pray with you, to be your armor bearer and be encouraged by the word. Thank you for all you do!
