The Bible teaches us not to be an idol worshiper, but for many of us idolizing things can be something that many of us do not know we are doing. Idols of the heart are anything that can make you give up on God, idols can also be something that changes the mood you are in toward God, others, and even yourself it is the Lords will that we treat each other with the same love and respect that we would give ourselves and when something you want, have, need, or desire changes the way you think, act, or live that is an Idol and you are an Idol worshiper. I do not mean to preach to you but I love my friends as I love myself and I think that you all should know this so thank you for taking the time to read this. I might ask that you really take a moment and consider or even think about past or present events that may have happened in your life, and ask yourself do I have Idols?
We all know that our God is a loving but Jealous God and he demands that we put nothing before him not even our families, friends, or children we are to love our God with all of our hearts, but for some we forget what it means to love. If we do not love ourselves how can we love a God who demands all of our love?
Please do not read this in the wrong manner I mean only love and respect to all of my friends.
I am trully inspired by the book of Abraham, It touches my heart everytime I read it, I set back and read it once but I finish to quickly because I just can't stop reading it so I read it again, and everytime I read it I always get a different feeling.
Now I will explain myself please don't stop reading now I promise you it is just getting good. For many years Abraham felt alone he was raised and taught to serve a God for every need but Abraham still felt a void in his life he felt empty but he didn't know why. And one day God said to him Abraham get you away from your father's house to a land that I will show you, and so he did. Can you imagine leaving all that you have ever loved to go and serve a God in a dessert that you have never known. I wonder what this world would be like if Abraham said Lord why me? I can not leave ask my brother Nahor.
Abraham was the most selfless man in the Bible, please man or woman boy or girl take a moment and ask yourself if I was told by God to kill my son or daughter what would I do? Ok the first thing that should have popped in your mind is I would gladly do it, now take a moment more and ask yourself that same question if you are trully being honest with yourself you should feel a little different in your heart. You may even look at your child and think could I really kill my child?
Even though you may not know it your child is an Idol of yours. That is why you can not punish your child for something he or she may have done wrong it is not because you love them it is because you worship them. Please forgive me for saying this but God loves us unconditionally and the Bibles tells us that a numerous amount of times, but we get punished don't we? If we did all that we wanted with out consequences, how would we learn to humble overselves before the Lord, or how would we learn obidence?
Abraham had a heavy heart when asked to sacrifice his son but he was ready to do it, and because of his faith in God and his self less act God established his convenant with his people forever, I do not know about you but I'd love to have a promise made by God that he would never leave me nor forsake me wouldn't you?
WOW! Oh WOW! you know what WE DO! God made a blood covenant with us when He sent his only begotten son to die on the cross so that WE may have a chance through His only Son, our Lord Jesus gave His life to save ours. Won't you make his sacrifice mean something in your life.
Turn away from your Idol's friends, we all know our hearts and our faults and we do not place blame on no one else it is not our place, but we all know our hearts but our Lord knows them even more if you can not be honest with your self be honest with God. Do not worship things of this world prepare yourselves and be ready for his coming the Bible teaches not to love this world for the world is wicket, we are to store up our blessing so when the Lord comes we will be ready and waiting singing the song of Moses.
If you can not say no to your idols now how will you say no to the Beast when it comes time to take that mark to feed our babies or families and friends learn today dear friends because tomorrow is too late. Please friends think about what I said because I love you all and hope to see all of you on that day. Trust in God, know in your heart that your children are fed in heaven, when it comes to a person's child we do all that we can to protect them. We our God's children and He does all that He can to protect us He said He will never leave us nor forsake us so please let God feed your child and you because we are all his children and His love for us is great.
God Bless and thank you for reading my blog.
Sorry I never knew you
Monday, September 19, 2005
Last night as I lay sleeping, this dream came to me
I dreamed about the end of time, about eternity
I saw a million sinners; fall on their knees to pray
The savior sadly shook his head, and this I heard him say:
Sorry I never knew you, depart from me forevermore
Sorry I never knew you, go and serve the one you served before.
I thought the time had come, for me to stand on trial
I told the lord, that I had been a Christian all the while
Through the book he then looked, and sadly shook his head
They placed me over on his left, and this is what he said:
Sorry I never knew you, I find no record of your birth
Sorry I never knew you, go and serve the one you served on earth.
I saw my wife and children, I heard each ones voice
They must have all been happy, it seems they did rejoice
With robes of white around them, and crowns upon their head
My little girl looked up to me, and this is what she said:
Daddy we still love you, but you can't be our daddy anymore
Daddy we still love you, but we must stay on this lovely shore.
When from asleep I awakened, with tears in my eyes
I looked around and there about me, to my great surprise
I saw my wife and children; I knew I had a dream
Down beside my bed I fell, and for mercy did scream:
Father forgive me, for I know I am full of sin
Please watch over me, forever and ever, Amen.

Day Of Atonment-7 Blessings
Current mood: Blessed With The Word
Category: Religion and Philosophy
Did you know that SEVEN LIFE CHANGING BLESSINGS are promised to you?
It all begins with the Day of Atonement. By honoring God on His holiest day - October 2nd - the Day of Atonement, you can release God's promised covenant of reconciliation and unleash these seven blessings into your life:
The high priest was instructed to approach the mercy seat, entering into God's very
presence on the Day of Atonement and offer a blood sacrifice for the sins of the people. In
return, God promised a covenant of reconciliation and seven blessings that would cover the
people for the next year:
1. A DOUBLE PORTION – "For he has given you the former rain faithfully, and He will
cause the rain to come down for you — the former rain and the latter rain in the first
month" (Joel 2:23). The Word tells us that from March to October, God pours out His
blessings moderately, the former rain. But then in God's "first month," October, God
begins sending the former and the latter rain, a double portion.
2. FINANCIAL PROMISES – "The threshing floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats
shall overflow with new wine and oil" (Joel 2:24). Joel was writing to an agricultural
society, so he wrote in terms they were familiar with. But the promise of success is
still a sure thing today.
3. RESTORATION – "So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has
eaten" (Joel 2:25). God promised that He will give back whatever the devil has
taken away from you, whether it be your good health, or family or something else.
4. SPECIAL MIRACLES – "You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name
of the Lord your God Who has dealt wondrously with you" (Joel 2:26). God promises
to do things for you that your eyes have never before seen, things that you cannot
even imagine or know anything about.
5. A DIVINE PRESENCE – "Then you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel; I am the
Lord your God and there is no other, My people shall never be put to shame" (Joel 2:27).
This promise means that everywhere you go, His presence goes with you to lead,
protect, provide, admonish, teach and more.
6. BLESSINGS FOR YOUR SONS AND DAUGHTERS – "And it shall come to pass
afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall
prophesy . . ." (Joel 2:28). It's time for the demonic powers that have encroached on our
families to move over. God's promises are conditional upon our observing His
holy days. No matter how far they have fallen, His hand of mercy can reach them.
7. DELIVERANCE TO WHOEVER CALLS ON HIS NAME – "And it shall come to
pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved . . ." (Joel 2:32). God's
only a call away! He promises to be there when you need Him.
Seven incredible blessings! The problem is that few people
see these promises manifested in their lives because very
few people honor God's holiest day, the Day of Atonement.
Now I only have one question now that you know what will you do, and if you knew what did you plan on doing? God Bless...
