some might not know who that is but that doesn't matter...still sounds crazy but it still is true, without struggling in this world we will not become truly content, everything comes with a price (which is another reason), to get to our emotional or spirutual peak we must get to our lowest point also...
here's a frikin awesome bible verse:
3Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. 5For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows. 6If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. 7And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort.

I use this a lot when I'm or one of my friends our having a tough time...it means that when we suffer it is for our own good because it allows Jesus to comfort us and to share that suffering and comfort with our friends so we could know them even better and ulimately know our heavanly father better...and through those types of experiences further our hope and love for one another...I go through this everyday, asking God to help me, to have the strength, endurence, love, patience and wisdom to help everyone I love and also myself, to grow through the hadships of my life, and guide others through their trouble....so may you be there for the ones you love, as God is there for you...
