Going into 8th grade
Posted On 07/10/2006 00:04:10
I can't believe I'm saying this but I really want to go back to school. I'm student body president so I get to be in charge. I have a lot of plans on how to change the school. For one, I'll get the lockers moved down by the middle school instead of way up at the top of campus. 2. I'll start talent shows as something enjoyable to do instead of listening to classical music for 2 hours. No offense to classical music but I like having it on in the background but not as my only source of entertainment. 3. I'll work for a great 8th grade field trip. Our last 8th graders didn't get one. I want us to do something fun like go on a cruise or go camping. I really am leaning toward the cruise. Maybe a Disney Cruise or a Carribean Cruise. That way we can get away from land. And there is so much to do on a cruise, or you could do nothing at all. Trey

Choose Your Path

Ever since I was little, I always remebered my dad standing up for what he believed in. He was, what some people call, a medieval man. There's no real code to being one. But this is the guidelines to being a medieval that I have observed in my dad. (I want everyone to know that I got a lot of this from the boyscout law and oath) 1. You have to be trustworthy. 2. You have to be loyal. 3. You have to be helpful. 4. You have to be friendly. 5. You have to be courteous. 6. You have to be kind. 7. You have to be obedient. 8. You have to be cheerful 9. You have to be thrifty. 10. You have to be brave. 11. You have to be clean. 12. You have to be reverent. 13. You have to be patient. 14. You have to be forgiving. 15. You have to be chivilrous 16. You have to be loving 17. You have to be physically strong. 18. You have to be mentally awake. 19. You have to be morally straightt 20. You have to be able to give yourself to god. I always try to be like him, but the code I've noticed he's following is a difficult one. He's chosen his path. I've chosen mine. They're both the same path. You have to choose yours whether to be for god, or for anything else. Trey

Jesus Christ

I would like to know who really believes in Jesus Christ on JCfaith. There is no bribe of a miracle or anything like that. If you truly believe in Jesus Christ, then repost this and title the bulletin as "Jesus Christ". If you don't believe in Jesus Christ, then just ignore this...thanks. In the book of Matthew, Jesus says..."If you deny me before man, I will deny you before my Father in Heaven"

Why are there so many denominations? I don't know but I think it has something to do with how somebody interprets the bible such as the sword that is supposed to come out of Jesus's mouth at the last battle against the anti-Christ. Some believe it's an actual sword that comes out of his mouth, Others believe that when he speaks verses from the bible it will seem like a sword coming out of his mouth because as he says it, enemies will be sliced as if from a sword. And other people believe that if Jesus just speaks at all his enemies will die. All the denominations are differentin how they believe and how they whorship. Some believe that the prophecies will actually come true as in an actuall sword coming out of Jesus mouth or 200,000,000 demonic horsemen actually slaying non-believers.(I think that's the right number) Others believe that both are just a figure of speech. I realized, sitting in my kitchen, that Arizona summers aren't as miserable as they seem. Your first summer here, you feel like your being roasted alive. You second one is the same story, hot. But before you know it, they become more and more bearable. I've seen people come visit here, wearing shorts during the winter, while us that have lived in Arizona for a while are bundled up in sweaters and other things. Arizona is a lot different from anywhere else in the US. Trey

The Visitation

Man, that was the creepiest movie I've ever seen. And the strange thing was it was somewhat about the bible. It's about a number of murders and disapearances that are spaced three years apart. Next thing you know, a stranger comes to town and starts performing miracles, or at least people thought were miracles, they were really being possesed by demons. This stranger started preaching, and he tried to take on the look of Jesus. He actually turned out to be a man possesed by the devil himself. This man made a pact with the devil why he was nailed to a fence through the wrists. The demon granted him supernatural powers as long as he served the devil and killed one person every three years. You should really see it or just read the book.

I love this site

I'm so glad I found jcfaith.com I've found out taht there are more Christians is the Us and the world than I originally thought. I'd like to know how many Christian there are in the world but hey more are coming to Christ every minute. Of course that also means people are going away from Jesus as well. It is so nice thought to have a site where Christians can get together and write about there thought on Jesus. Just by being on this site for one day has made me want to host a Christian event. Maybe I will. Trey

Difficulties at School

It's hard going to a school where many people in your class, or perhaps the whole school, believe in something different than you. I have to go to school where people believe in what people call dead religions. Some people at my school believe that Zeus is the almighty god and that Christianity is just a cult. Some people believe that Aztec proverbs really did come true. And others are either atheists or don't believ anyhthing at all. Also, I go to school witha bunch of Mormoms who believe that Jesus isn't God when it says in the bible that he is. We've tried to witness to these people when the subject of religion comes up. But the people in my class refuse to listen. It seems like just me and two of my friends are Christians. I pray for the people who do not believe and I pray for their eyes to open and for them to listen because the bible says he's coming and we don't know when but we're running out of time. I want these people to go to heaven. I don't want them to be seduced by Satan. Please pray for these people too.
