Merry CHRISTmas

Dear Children,
     It has come to my attention that many of you are upset that folks are taking My name out of the season.  
     How I personally feel about this celebration can probably be most easily understood by those of you who have been blessed with children of your own. I don't care what you call the day. If you want to celebrate My birth, just get along and love one another.
     Now, having said that let Me go on. If it bothers you that the town in which you live doesn't allow a scene depicting My birth, then just get rid of a couple of Santas and snowmen and put in a small Nativity scene on your own front lawn. If all My followers did that there wouldn't be any need for such a scene on the town square because there would be many of them all around town.
     Stop worrying about the fact that people are calling the tree a holiday tree, instead of a Christmas tree. It was I who made all trees. You can remember Me anytime you see any tree. Decorate a grape vine if you wish: I actually spoke of that one in a teaching, explaining who I am in relation to you and what each of our tasks were. If you have forgotten that one, look up John 15: 1 - 8.
     If you want to give Me a present in remembrance of My birth here is my wish list. Choose something from it:
1. Instead of writing protest letters objecting to the way My birthday is being celebrated, write letters of love and hope to soldiers away from home. They are terribly afraid and lonely this time of year. I know, they tell Me all the time.
2. Visit someone in a nursing home. You don't have to know them personally. They just need to know that someone cares about them.
3. Instead of writing George complaining about the wording on the cards his staff sent out this year, why don't you write and tell him that you'll be praying for him and his family this year. Then follow up. It will be nice hearing from you again.
4. Instead of giving your children a lot of gifts you can't afford and they don't need, spend time with them. Tell them the story of My birth, and why I came to live with you down here. Hold them in your arms and remind them that I love them.
5. Pick someone that has hurt you in the past and forgive him or her.
6. Did you know that someone in your town will attempt to take their own life this season because they feel so alone and hopeless?  Since you don't know who that person is, try giving everyone you meet a warm smile; it could make the difference.
7. Instead of nit picking about what the retailer in your town calls the holiday, be patient with the people who work there. Give them a warm smile and a kind word. Even if they aren't allowed to wish you a "Merry Christmas" that doesn't keep you from wishing them one. Then stop shopping there on Sunday. If the store didn't make so much money on that day they'd close and let their employees spend the day at home with their families
8. If you really want to make a difference, support a missionary-- especially one who takes My love and Good News to those who have never heard My name.
9. Here's a good one. There are individuals and whole families in your town who not only will have no "Christmas" tree, but neither will they have any presents to give or receive. If you don't know them, buy some food and a few gifts and give them to a church or charity which believes in Me and they will make the delivery for you.
10. Finally, if you want to make a statement about your belief in and loyalty to Me, then behave like a Christian. Don't do things in secret that you wouldn't do in My presence. Let people know by your actions that you are one of mine.
     Don't forget; I am Jesus and can take care of Myself. Just love Me and do what I have told you to do. I'll take care of all the rest. Check out the list above and get to work; time is short. I'll help you, but the ball is now in your court. And do have a most blessed Christmas with all those whom you love and remember.

According to a news report, a certain school in Garden City, MI was recently faced with a unique problem. A number of 12-year-old girls were beginning to use lipstick and would put it on in the washroom. That was fine, but after they put on their lipstick they would press their lips to the mirror leaving dozens of little lip prints.
Every night, the maintenance man would remove them and the next day the girls would put them back.
Finally the principal decided that something had to be done. He called all the girls to the washroom and met them there with the maintenance man. He explained that all these lip prints were causing a major problem for the custodian who had to clean the mirrors every night. To demonstrate how difficult it had been to clean the mirrors, he asked the maintenance man to show the girls how much effort was required.
He took out a long-handled squeegee, dipped it in the toilet, and cleaned the mirror with it.
Since then, there have been no lip prints on the mirror.

THE MORAL OF THIS STORY.. There are teachers, and then there are Educators

From a strictly Mathematical Viewpoint:

What Equals 100%? What does it mean to give MORE than 100%? Ever wonder about those people who say they are giving more than 100%? We have all been in situations where someone wants you to give over 100%. How about achieving 101%? What equals 100% in life?

Here's a little mathematical formula that might help you answer these Questions:

Never, put your banana in the refrigerator!!!
 This is interesting.
After reading this, you'll never look at a banana in the same way again.

Also, the lobbyist points out, Christians must remember what the Bible says -- particularly in Genesis 12:3, where God tells Abraham "I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him that curses you, and in you shall all the peoples and families and nations of the world be blessed." And in Romans 11:29, Hellman adds, the Apostle Paul said that "the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable."

As a full-fledged Christian lobby, CIPAC is on Capitol Hill every day trying to influence Congress and the White House about the importance of supporting Israel, Hellman says. "Israel is our best friend and our ally in the war on terror," he contends; "so it's very important that we support Israel so that it succeeds and prospers, as it is doing, and it secures itself, as it is doing."

Hellman says Israel continues to be "immensely helpful" to the United States in all its activities in terms of security and the American economy.

The Penny

To keep in mind, the next time you see a penny!




The Penny
You always hear the usual stories of pennies on the sidewalk being
good luck, gifts from angels, etc. This is the first time I've ever
heard
this twist on the story. Gives you something to think about. Several
years
ago, a friend of mine and her husband were invited to spend the weekend
at
the husband's employer's home. My friend,
Arlene,was nervous about the weekend. The boss was very wealthy, with a
fine
home on the waterway, and cars costing more than her house.
The first day and evening went well, and Arlene was delighted to
have this rare glimpse into how the very wealthy live. The husband's
employer
was quite generous as a host, and took them to the finest
restaurants.Arlene knew she would never have the opportunity to indulge
in
this
kind
of extravagance again so was enjoying herself immensely.

As the three of them were about to enter an exclusive restaurant that
evening, the boss was walking slightly ahead of Arlene and her husband.
He stopped suddenly, looking down on the pavement for a long, silent
moment.

Arlene wondered if she was supposed to pass him. There was nothing on
the ground except a single darkened penny that someone had dropped,and
a few cigarette butts. Still silent, the man reached down and picked up
the
penny.

He held it up and smiled, then put it in his pocket as if he had found
a great treasure. How absurd! What need did this man have for a single
penny? Why would he even take the time to stop and pick it up?

Throughout dinner, the entire scene nagged at her. Finally, she could
stand it no longer. She causally mentioned that her daughter once had a
coin collection, and asked if the penny he had found had been of some
value.

A smile crept across the man's face as he reached into his pocket for
the penny and held it out for her to see. She had seen many pennies
before! What was the point of this?

"Look at it." He said. "Read what it says." She read the words "United
States of America."
"No, not that; read further."
"One cent?" "No, keep reading."
"In God we Trust?" "Yes!" "And?"

"And if I trust in God, the name of God is holy, even on a coin.
Whenever I find a coin I see that inscription. It is written on every
single United States coin, but we never seem to notice it! God drops a
message right in front of me telling me to trust Him? Who am I to pass
it by? When I see a coin, I pray, I stop to see if my trust IS in God
at
that moment. I pick the coin up as a response to God; that I do trust
in
Him. For a short time, at least, I cherish it as if it were gold. I
think it is God's way of starting a conversation with me. Lucky for me,
God is patient and pennies are plentiful!

When I was out shopping today, I found a penny on the sidewalk. I
stopped and picked it up, and realized that I had been worrying and
fretting in my mind about things I cannot change. I read the words, "In
God We Trust," and had to laugh. Yes, God, I get the message.

It seems that I have been finding an inordinate number of pennies in
the last few months, but then, pennies are plentiful!
And, God is patient...

other people. Then sit back and watch the power of God work in your
life for doing the thing that you know He loves

It is said that 86% of Americans believe in God. Therefore I have a
very
hard time understanding why there is such a mess about having "In God
We Trust" on our money and having God in the Pledge of Allegiance. Why
don't we just tell the 14% to Sit Down and BE QUIET!!!

Hubble pictures

They will not find my Jesus bones in a box He and the Father are very much alive!  Only a living GOD can creat this.

They are Hubble telescope's top ten greatest space photographs over the years.

The Sombrero Galaxy - 28 million light years from Earth - was voted best picture taken by the Hubble telescope. 

The dimensions of the galaxy, officially called M104, are as spectacular as its appearance.  It has 800 billion suns and is 50,000 light years across.


 

The Ant Nebula, a cloud of dust and gas whose technical name is Mz3, resembles an ant when observed using

ground-based telescopes.  The nebula lies within our galaxy between 3,000 and 6,000 light years from Earth.


 

In third place is Nebula NGC 2392, called Eskimo because it looks like a face surrounded by a furry hood. 

The hood is, in fact, a ring of comet-shaped objects flying away from a dying star.  Eskimo is 5,000 light years from Earth.


 

At four is the Cat's Eye Nebula, which looks like the eye of disembodied sorcerer Sauron from Lord of the Rings.


 

The Hourglass Nebula, 8,000 light years away, has a pinched-in-the-middle look because

the winds that shape it are weaker at the centre.


 

In sixth place is the Cone Nebula.  The part pictured here is 2.5 light years in length

(the equivalent of 23 million return trips to the Moon).


 

   

The Perfect Storm, a small region in the Swan Nebula, 5,500 light years away, described as 'a bubbly ocean

of hydrogen and small amounts of oxygen, sulphur and other elements'.

(Can you make out a kind of form with a halo?  I felt that way when I looked at it.......Carol)
 

Starry Night, so named because it reminded astronomers of the Van Gogh painting. 

It is a halo of light around a star in the Milky Way.


 

The glowering eyes from 114 million light years away are the swirling cores of two merging galaxies

called NGC 2207 and IC 2163 in the distant Canis Major constellation.


 

The Trifid Nebula.  A 'stellar nursery', 9,000 light years from here, it is where new stars are being born.
