Well folks one week to go and I fly out with the Howard my tour organiser to Romania, to meet up with Ionel Dragan , my tour manager.....it is exciting and intriguing all in one breath.. As some of you know I go down to the beach to write.....where the waves rule and crash and the horizon is clear...and often silence echoes...it is beautiful in its granduer but intimate in its silence. Grace, Passion and Radical Hearts is the theme for Romania...and I can not wait to write to see what God has for me and for those I meet. We can spend a life time looking for grace and passion and radical hearts, often looking in all the wrong places.but Grace received from God, Passion awakened by God and Radical Hearts empowered by God....changes the landscape, changing the very core of who and what we are , and impacting the lives around.....to the Glory of God.. I am looking forward to this adventure..honoured that God has asked me to do this , there is much travel over difficult terraine..but I go with grace, passion and a radical heart to be used as God sees fit...and to watch in wonder as His will unfolds...blessyou and love you and do stay in touch Chrisxxxx 1:30 AM - 0 Comments - 0 Kudos - Add Comment - Edit - Remove
Romania...North I minister here in a very traditional atmosphere...They do not allow women to preach or lead but I have been invited in.....and given an open door
I must also be careful of dress ,some still object to ladies in trousers or wearing jewellery and dancing is frowned on by some.....
well maybe I should take up cross stitch again...lolol...but no I know this time God has sent me to break down those walls of tradition , gentle as a dove...for the sake of the youth and those who yearn for the Spirit and for more than they have and my voice, via the Holy Spirit, will be used to do this ....
This is also a faith mission...I receive no payment or expenses, we must fund flights, petrol , publicity and accomodation in part so do cover us in prayer that our resourses be met. I travel with Howard Measham from Seer Ministries UK and Ionel Dragan who heads up the Romanian team....
I am praying that it will be a value time of experience and joy both on the tour and amidst the presence of God. The Romanians involved are really running with this, so it is exciting.

October 29th will see Chris fly out to Romania as she holds an evangelistic concert tour over the North of Romania ,the south now scheduled for next year. The charity The Whispers Foundation is being arranged by a Christian solictor who is setting up the charity for me at a very favourable price so really grateful to Rob for that. Also Andy Leake from Chester , who runs 21st Century Child, www.21stcenturychild.org shoebox charity has agreed to become a trustee and has already been a wonderful support to me.
A lady from the USA, Suzan, gifted me a website and is designing the charity website for free....so much blessings and that can be checked out as it developes on www.thewhispersfoundation.com
We have also been given our first lorry consignment bound for Romanian this winter and transport has been provided. This simply came after I prayed and within a few days a lorry situation was offered. I have been overwelmed with this ..It is wonderful and it is something I have always wanted to be able to do.
Next , beginning this Sunday, finds me in Scotland on Tour and I am looking forward to that greatly as I have always wanted to return to tour in Scotland and it will be good to see what God has in store.

I will embark on a evangelistic tour of Romania beginning 2nd Nov 06.(ish)...that covers 12 cities after being invited by pastors to evangelise within the country.after the successful 5 day tour of the South in 2005. I have full cover on Christian radio stations to help promote the tour as well.PTL.

I had hoped to begin recording a new album , I love studio work and writing, but for now God has other plans but I have written much for it and just now need to make it tangible.
Next year ....well hopeful a Uk tour and new album but also a trip to Poland is planned after I have been invited to minister there next Spring and a few articles need finishing and some started...so all is on target and focus but as ever God can just change all this in another direction in the blink of an eye..Its all in His Will.

Well the college essays are in and I can go out to play again...whoohoo...being on the road is what i really love..and geting the chance to share Jesus and the Gospel message with all I meet and having fun too.
Romania is shaping up really well. The tour is looking like being across the whole country....and I will have on tour with me ...Seers ministry who print the word for today in romanian , and have printed 3000 for the tour already..and I will also have 21CC along and they will give out shoeboxes. filled with gifts....check out their website ..www.21stcenturychild.org .so all will be combined. should be really cool...If you would like to know more and to support the work visit http://chrismercer.net
And NZ/Aussie is brewing very nicely to...still working on the tours for that area ..and hopefully will be in the USA some day soon...will keep you posted on that....
Uk work will be in the autumn it seems so much to do.but eager to get back out and sing......
But ya know with all this buzzing about ..it is wonderful to have time to just to be with God...I have found a quiet place down by the beach, yeah I live near the coast...3 mins away infact and its beautiful , awesome early morning......all you can see is sea and sky and sand..and its silent ....and there I can hear the whisper that God has for me that day.....we can just have so much noise in our heads that God can just not be heard sometimes.....I never just to like being alone , or not busying around.....but I have lately found the value of mooching off to my quiet retreat where only my God and I can be found ....blessya folks and thank you for your prayers and blessings Chris♥
Well I just thought it time i put pen to paper ..or should I say. type to blog....
for me this time has been working hard finishing some essays for the course in theology I am doing...great.infact I am done...whoohooo...free lady........ i would really like being out gigging..though.lol.....but its a needed discipline..that will hopefully bear fruit...then Its pulling together the uk tour here and there and also this week have penned some more songs for the new album..and I can not wait to get started on that ...just love making music....for the Lord..
but in all this ..God is teaching me about His stillness...times to stop and smell the roses or just be doing just about nothing ..Todays world seems to drive us to be always busy ....if we stop albeit for a moment we hear the silence of God ..then we are able to catch His heart beat and His breathe upon ours lives...and listen
I hope you will like me in the busyness take a moment or two to stop and be still..
