No Compromise Youth Camp!!!
Posted On 08/12/2007 19:49:31

Wow. I just spent a week at the most revolutionary youth camp ever. Five churches from around Virginia attended with their youth groups totaling around 175 youth. We stayed a block away from Myrtle Beach in South Carolina and went to the beach and pool every day! We had incredibly creative and fun games every day that tended to get pretty messy! But i'll tell you about that later on, what I really want to tell you is about what God did there.

The first day was just a seven hour van ride and a welcome to camp/here are the rules kind of thing. The next day it really got started with our first night service which set the stage for the rest of the week. Pastor Bob Eyre from the City Church DC preached on new vision and restored vision. Many, many people got visions for their lives and what God was going to lead them in in the future. I got a vision of where I will be in the future and I am still awestruck at what God can do with an ordinary person like me. There was also an altercall for new salvation and recomitting your life to God. Dozens made fresh commitments to God, it was so incredible!

The next day, Tuesday, was the most outstanding day for me personally. I was filled with the Holy Spirit and got my prayer language! If you don't believe in the Holy Spirit I wish you could have been there! Many, many others got their prayer language too including many of my freinds that went. It was such an overwhelming sense of joy I could hardly stop singing much less go to sleep but thank goodness I did!

On Wednesday my friends Ashley, Jackie, and I all felt an impression from God to pray for a guy we had seen who was on my games team. He seemed to need prayer though we didn't know what for so we prayed for him. The next day, he fell off his skateboard and broke his wrist and banged up his face. We were awestruck at the irony that God has asked us to pray for him the day before. He could have been injured much worse. We then prayed that he would be back for the night service and be touched by God. He came back! I don't know if he was touched, but he was there and it was an answer to prayer! The service was so amazing, dozens of people had words that we were entering into a battle for souls and to turn our nation back to God. We had a divine time of prayer where God changed many lives. I wish you all could have been there it was indescribable.

What I want to ask you is, are you ready for the battle God has set before us? We have all been called to fight according to the Great Commission. Some of you are going back to school soon, are working in a job with non-Christians, are in college, or are homeschooled. We all have a battle field and a sphere of influence and you are the ONLY person who can reach out to the people in your circle. God wants to challenge you to join the fight for souls. make a stand to be different in your school or workplace. Let people see that you shine for God. Don't blend in to the world's crowd. I am opening a group on here called "The Bold Army." If you want to make a difference for Christ wherever you are, you want to take up the full armor of Christ described in Ephesians 6:10-17, then ask God for boldness and spend time in his Word every day to strenghthen you. Join the group And bring it to the top of the list. We are going to make a difference, one soul at a time.

Thanks for reading I know it was pretty longSmile
