United We Stand, Divided We Fall
According to the Lord Jesus Christ a kingdom divided against itself will fall. He goes on to say that a city and a house divided against itself will fall as well. We live in a nation today that is mostly divided. We are in disagreement about such issues as abortion, stem cell research, euthansia, the death penalty, marriage issues, wars, and the list goes on. I believe God addresses these issues in the Holy Bible and that He is the final Authority in these matters. It's not a matter of God getting on our side as it is of us getting on the side of God. May I suggest America return to God before it is too late and learn what He says through the written Word and apply His teachings to our lives? We started out in this nation as a nation that feared God and showed reverence towards Him and He has blessed us abundantly. Now over 200 years later we are trying to erase His name altogether from our schools, government buildings, prayers, money, and pledge of allegiance. Life is eternal, We decide where we will spend eternity!
I was never a religious man until I turned 27 years old in 1984. It was Mother's Day that I gave my life to the Lord Jesus Christ and since then there have been no regrets ( I am now 50).
The only regret I have today is watching people choose to go to hell. God never sends anyone to hell, they choose hell because they reject Jesus Christ to becoming their Savior and Lord. God has given us His Word (the Holy Bible) that there is a heaven and a hell. Each one will be eternal. The inhabitants of either heaven or hell will live eternally. If heaven is your eternal abode it will be paradise living in God's presence.There will be no more pain, suffering, sickness, or crying there. If hell is your eternal abode it will be a place of torment, fire, gnashing of teeth, pain, thirst, with all of your 5 senses intact. On top of that you will remember the good things you had and heard in life. To make matters worse you will realize that you don't want your family members that are still alive on earth to come to this place. But the really worse aspect of hell is that you will be separated from God for eternity.
Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
God doesn't want anyone to perish and go to hell.
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
He created hell for the devil and the fallen angels who followed the devil when he was kicked out of heaven.
Matthew 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
God wants you to put your trust in Jesus Christ and be saved.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
God commends His love for you even though you are a sinner. He does this so you will have an opportunity to come to Him.
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
The only time it will be to late to come to the Lord is if you die without ever coming to know Him in this life.
John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
None of us measure up. We all have sinned and separated ourselves from a Holy and Just God. Jesus came to this earth to seek and save that which was lost. Which is every human being. God has made a way for us to have eternal life through His Son Jesus.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
You need to be saved from your sins. You need the Lord Jesus Christ in your life in order to have eternal life.
1 John 5:11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
1 John 5:12 He that hath the Son hath life: and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Be fruitful and multiply is the only commandment mankind hasn't broken.
When God told Adam and Eve to be fruitfull and multiply we find out that it is within the bounds of holy matrimony between one man and one woman.
Genesis 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
God has ordained sex within the confines of marriage.
Sex outside of marriage (fornication), sex with a partner that is not your spouse (adultery), sex with animals (beastiality), and sex with the same sex (homosexuality) is all sin in the eyes of God and will keep a person out of heaven.
So teaching abstinence is the best way to practice safe sex. Bythe way, 1 Corinthians 13:4 says "Love is patient"...which means, it can wait.
For the Christians who cannot contain themselves every Christian man should have his own Christian wife and every Christian woman should have her own Christian husband.
Let's get America back on track.
