So Greatful.........I am so thankful to God for allowing me to live to see and enjoy another Year of Christmas........and I love God for loving me and being patient and gracious toward me......I also am greatful to God for giving me the best of friends.....true friends that have stayed by my side .....and have never judged me or criticized me .......but have completly loved me no matter what.......to you my precious friend....sister in Christ.....I thank you and love with the love of the Lord........I know we all struggle with something and we all strive to be like Jesus Christ.......Dont be so hard on others when they fall....and mess up....remember that they do not belong to us but to God and he is in control.....and God is the one who changes people lives......we are to love others as God has loved and accepted us......just as we are.....I dont know why I went out of the subject of thanking you my friend.....but is'nt it beautiful how God changes the topic and the Holy Spirit says what needs to be said.....Hallelujah!!!!!!!!!!!! Praise His Holy Name........I love you and appreciate you all..........Jesus is the Reason for this Season......may we never grow tired or weary of doing good for others.......because remember its the Lord through you and in you doing his will........Merry Chrismas.....

Thanksgiving........... A day of reflection for blessings bestowed
A day spent with family and friends both new and old
A day of feasting, fellowship and fun
A day to give thanks for all God has done

This day has been celebrated year after year
By people of all cultures both far and near
It’s a day most people reflect on how they have been blessed
All the ways, the people and things that brought blessings are addressed

There’s turkey and dressing, cranberry sauce and lots of dessert to eat
Everyone fixing their plates, going for seconds while all diets cease
There’s lots of greeting, laughter and eating being done
While the men look at football, children play games and women’s conversation goes on and on

This is one of the greatest days looked forward to for the year
It brings people together in unity and makes hearts full of cheer
This day is set aside to give thanks for everything
This is the will of our Heavenly Father for everyday, not just for Thanksgiving

Climbing up the wall of life
They keep on adding blocks
You never reach the very top
There's lead inside your socks
Might as well accept the fact
You're on a greasy pole
Be content with who you are
Before life takes it's toll.

To be a humble, contrite soul
Is no mark of a wimp
To have the heart of Jesus
Means you never have to limp
You can be a power base
In weakness you'll be strong
Just try your best to be yourself
And then you can't go wrong.
