I love just about any kind of music but my fave genres are hard rock, alt rock, r&b, some rap but not hardcore - mostly Christian if it's rap. There are some fantastic Christian rock groups out there that some people have no idea exist. People my age anyway. I still love music that mostly 20 somethings love - but I'm able to find alot of Christian bands who play the same genres but without the trash you know? It's great. One I have an interview coming up with is DECYFER DOWN - featured below in this video :)

I am very involved in music and do some minor (volunteer) promo for mostly unsigned and indie bands. Some are Christian and some are not, but I don't promo trash. I also am a contributing writer for an online mag called Entertainment World for their Unsigned/Indies Music page. I do interviews with U/I bands although I can do signed bands if I can get them and have several lined up currently. As I said in the Music section, I have an interview set up with Decyfer Down soon, who are a fantastic Christian hard/alt rock band and will be touring with Pillar soon. I'm hoping to be able to score an interview with Pillar too as a result of that :) or at least Disciple, who are handled by the same people as Decyfer Down are.

I have a son who just turned 21 and towers over 5'2" me at 6'3" ... but looks just like me (only quite a bit more masculine lol)... and he's the light of my life - if only I were more to him. We've always had a close bond, but it's like "outta sight, outta mind" with him and has been for awhile. Has his own life with a gf and his own apt... Mama just doesn't fit in right now. And when I need him more than ever. I miss him terribly. He'll always be my baby. And just for the record, it didn't have "separated" in the "dating status" menu... It's okay - it was time - I was unevenly yoked for over ten years. But please pray for me. It's still a very sad time for me. And I know I have the Lord, but it gets lonely. Thx. And if you run across "BSpears4JC" - that's my Mama - and my OTHER "rock"...
