The first and foremost thing anyone needs to know about me is that I am RADICAL for Jesus Christ!!! Please don't title me as "Religious". I'm not crazy about that word. I'll even take "Jesus Freak" over religious. It's not about religion...It's not about living a life of "dos and don'ts" so that I can escape Hell. It's about having a relationship and being deeply in love with the creator of this universe. I'm crazy about Him. I can't believe that the same God that created the stars and the sun and the moon cares enough about me that He stops to listen when I want to speak to Him. It just blows me away!
Second of all, I am wife to the most amazing man on the earth. I couldn't have been blessed with a greater husband. (Even if He does like to aggrivate the poo out of everyone.) I can totally see God's hand in our whole relationship...friendship to marriage. I am also mother to a delightful little boy who is 2. It has been the greatest adventure to watch him grow into the person he is. What a blessing it is to be a part of his life!
Now...about my personality....I'm very expressive. I use my hands when I talk, and my face usually gives away what I'm thinking. I guess that's why God has allowed me to be the drama director at church. It definitely comes in handy anyway. I love to have fun, and I love to laugh. Life is too precious a gift to let it pass by without enjoying it. Probably the most shocking thing I have ever done was join the army. That was interesting. If I had my way, I'd wear nothing but jeans, t-shirt and my hair in a ponytail...but I'm working on that. I keep my hair cut too short to put into a ponytail, but not so short that I get mistaken for a shorter version of my brother. :) I really enjoy photography, and I just got a job at the Sears Portrait Studio as a photographer. I like to read the newspaper since we don't have regular television in our house, only VCR and DVD capabilities. I'm definitely a dreamer/visionary...as crazy as that may sound to some of you... A "somewhat" interesting fact is that I live in the house that George Jones (country singer for you kiddos) was born in sooo long ago. Weird huh?
I guess that's it for now...I'll probably change it up again someday! :)
