Reading, writing, music, hanging out with my husband and kids, camping, basketball, softball, playing around on the computer...all in no particular order.

The Bible, of course, and anything by Dee Henderson, Terri Blackstock, Frank Peretti, Jerry Jenkins, and Max Lucado. I also love the classics...you know, those books your high school English teacher made you read...Of Mice and Men, The Grapes of Wrath, etc.

It is truly the random bits and pieces of a person that make up the whole person, so here are a few of mine: I love Jesus...my relationship wtih Him is the center of everything I do. I am a wife and a mom and I love it. I would not trade it for anything in the world. I love animals. I want a penguin, but my husband is not so into the idea of putting an iceberg in the back yard ; I am fascinated with clouds and sunsets...I think they are one of God's most beautiful creations. I love the rain...the smell of it, the feel of it...it is cleansing. I am a full time college student and work full time as a teacher's aide. I am pursuing my teaching degree because I love kids, not because I get the summers off, although it is a nice incentive : I love to watch college football or basketball. I enjoy the peace and quiet of living in the country. I have wanted to be a writer ever since I learned how to write. I love to sing...in the shower, in the car, on stage, wherever. I sing on the praise team, in the choir, and as a soloist at church...there is no greater honor than to give Him praise. I love to learn new things. I would like to spend a month in Ireland and then a month in Italy. I am deathly allergic to spiders and ended up in the hospital after being bitten by one. I am scared of clowns. I love candles. I want to skydive one time. I will stay up all night to finish a good book. I believe that sometimes the most unlikely people become our closest friends, and if you don't take the risk, you will miss out on a wonderful and fulfilling relationship.
