Jesus taught us that “he whom the Son sets free is free indeed.” (John 8:36) We are answering the call of destiny in yet another millennium. God chose you and me to be His witness before the foundation of the world. It is no accident that we are here now! Our presence in this millennium is a witness to God’s great faithfulness. The prophet Jeremiah proclaimed in Lamentation 3:22-23 “It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning.” It is morning in America. Our generation has not only witnessed the dawn of a new millennium, but we have survived a long, cold and bitter night. It is said, ‘the darkest hour of night is just before daybreak’. The night of the 20th Century was long; two World Wars, the Cold War, famines, coups and a new era of unprecedented opportunity. Thanks be to God for another millennium and for a new day; for a thousand years with God is one day. We have much to accomplish for Christ in this new millennium. We must be about our Father’s business; the business of TRUE GENUINE PRAISE, AGAPE LOVE, SOUL WINNING and KINGDOM BUILDING.
