Prayer for the Day

Dear Heavenly Father, I do want to be close to You, so help me to spend the time in prayer, and reading Your Word in order to make that a reality. And Lord, when You do speak something to my heart, help me to obey You and not resist the things You are asking me to do. Lord, I also want to be a peacemaker, so fill my mouth with Your Words of wisdom when I encounter an opportunity to minister to those who are opposed to each other. Also, help me to remain in peace with those in my circle of acquaintances. I ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Hi, I am sorry that I have been out of touch. I went to Ohio to see my Mom. She is 80 and in failing health. While I was there I injured my back. I have a history of vertebrae compression fractures and Osteoporosis. I am having a problem moving without a great deal of pain. If I am not doing better by Monday they are going to order x-rays. I just wanted to say hello and let you know I appreciate your comments, and will be in touch more often when I am able to sit longer at a time. Have a wonderful week. Blessings to you, Pat

Prayer for the Day

Dear Father God, I am ever so grateful to have access to a reservoir of wisdom, counsel, and guidance in knowing You. I know when I have a problem I can ask You how to solve it, and You always have the perfect answer. Thank you for sending my answers in many different ways, and through many different people. I have been very blessed by the family of God, as they have reached out to help us in so many ways. I do appreciate the prayers of Your people. I also thank you for speaking to people to help us financially in this ministry. Lord, bless each person back in the form of their need. I thank You for my brothers and sisters in Christ. Bless them all and meet their needs. I ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
