(Heb.11:1) True faith is not credulity, that is, a readiness to believe something without sound evidence or just because a person wants it to be so. Genuine faith requires basic or fundamenal knowledge, acquaintance with evidence, as well as heartfelt appreciation of what that evidence indicates. Thus, although it is impossible to have a real faith without accurate knowledge, the Bible says that it is "with the heart" that one exercises faith. - Rom. 10:10. May you acquire ACCURATE KNOWLEDGE and also have the HEARTFELT DESIRE to serve Our Lord by EXERCISING your faith.

Papa and I have been out all afternoon picking up everything we need to the next several days because of the weather. Today is the last warm day for a LONG time! Papa even bought me a pair of fur-lined booties to wear when I'm on the computer. We don't know where the cold air is coming from but my feet get cold when I'm on-line. That shouldn't happen now! I'm having a problem with picking up an image to post so I'll just write. We're still very tired from the week-end wedding but getting a little more rested. It is VERY COLD here in western Iowa! I don't know what the current temp is but a couple of hours ago it was 2 below with a 26 below zero wind chill!! It's colder here than in Alaska.
