We are sorry we haven’t been by to visit with you. We have been experiencing a blizzard for the last two days and it will continue into tomorrow morning. We have received about 10 + inches of snow( we don’t, as yet, a definite amount, even though, we know it is at least this much) after freezing rain and have had winds gust up to 50 mph. Papa has been busy trying to keep friend’s homes and businesses cleared out, besides our own. I have needed to take him out to a few of these locations. As a result we are both very tired but we wanted to leave you with this thought from God’s precious Word, the Bible.
“Let this one fact not be escaping your notice, beloved ones, that one day is with Jehovah as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day. Jehovah is notslow respecting his promise, as some people consider slowness, but he is patient with you [us] because he does not desire any to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance. There are new heavens and a new earth that we are awaiting according to his promise, and in these righteousness is to dwell. Wow! What a week-end! It rained all day Saturday and started snowing late in the evening until abour 2:00 P.M. Sunday. And the wind; the wind was terrible! With all the snowing and blowing we got around 6+" with A LOT of drifting. I took Papa around to do his snow-blowing jobs yesterday and today.
Hope evrything is good for you and the weather isn't too bad to deal with. My son in Georgia says it was pouring down rain there last night.
