have any of you ever been to a winter jam festival??? if that is sad because they are so flippin' awesome!!! it isnt really a festival persay, but a huge concert with several several top name christian bands. so yeah, it was a rockin' awesome time. the one i went to this year was last saturday, the 3rd. i went with my family and my girlfriend. we had a very great time, or at least i did. i guess it is completely up to the others how great of a time they had, but i had a great time. we ended up getting there on time, so there was absolutely NO seats left. we stood around for a while, and then walked around for a while, before finding seats practically behind the stage. so it wasnt a great view. but it worked. lets see here, what else. oh i know. the bands/artists of which we were blessed with the ability of hearing are as follows: Steven Curtis Chapman Jeremy Camp Newsong Hawk Nelson Sanctus Real Britt Nicole then there were several speakers. they were pretty awesome too. there were really only two, the main guy, and then a george bush impersonator. he was pretty dang funny. but anyways, that is an update on that totally rad concert. um... goodbye for now, until we meet again, i say so long... farewell, to you my friend, goodbye for now, until we meet again!!!! god bless

hey hey hey here is an update.... because it has been a while since i last updated and i figured y'all would like to know what is going on in my life. so yeah, here it is y'all. um... oh, last friday i donated blood with the red cross... and that was pretty cool. i must admit i was pretty dang nervous before the whole event. afterwards it was pretty dang cool. i got to sit and eat pizza and cake while my entire PE class was swimming. so yeah, good good stuff. but overall it was a pretty cool event. so yeah, i reccommend it. i had to change my bedsheets last night. it is kinda funny because now i have pink sheets with hearts on my bed. it is actually a comical site. you'll just have to imagine it because you obviously cannot see it yourself. unless you wish to make a trip over to visit me. but anyways, that is what is on the uppity up yo. god bless ---josh---

my day

hello there all my friends and/or family. Thank you for willingness to take time out of your sure to be busy schedule to come read my blog... it is appreciated. at least i know someone is reading them. lol. anyways i guess i will write about my day yesterday, because it was flippin' awesome!!! for one, the weather was actually nice for a change, so praise the lord. no really, it was like high 60s or something like that... so i spent a good portion of the day outside, without a coat or jacket and goodness it was great. because of the fine weather me and my girlfriend... well, that was bad grammer, so really my girlfriend and I went to go feed the cute little ducks and the geese along our creekish thing that we have. that was bundles of fun. i had a great time, but i always do when i am with her... but yeah, had like 10 gazillion loafs of bread so the ducks were well fed. but then we went for a little bit of a walk, and than a drive. oh a funny story... while we were out driving i went to go drive by an old friend's house, so i turned onto a street that was under construction so it had become a one lane road. well after i had turned onto the road, a big suv turned onto the same road... so there was no getting past each other. so after being advised by kenzie, i turned into a driveway to let the people through. out of the thousands of driveways in our town, guess who's driveway i happened to turn into??? that is right, the suv's. so i was waiting there, probly looking stupid... until i finally reversed out and went the other way. but goodness that was funny and some good good times. god bless
HOLY CRUD!!! THIS IS NUMERO TRES!!!! THAT IS NUMBER THREE FOR THOSE WHO DONT KNOW SPANISH!!!! lol, i am on a roll, although, this may be my last blog for the night, sorry to dissappoint you guys. so the other night... well, last night actually, me and kenzie went to see stomp the yard. i thought that was a very awesome movie, i loved it. i recommend it greatlly too. there was some pretty wicked dancing... and a great storyline too. so yeah, again, i reccommend it. (geeze, what is with me and redundancies???). but yeah it is kinda a sad story in that... his brother... well, an event of not so but kinda great importance occurs between him (mc) and his brother. but then the rest of the story is kinda uplifting and good mooded. although... there is a little bit of cussing in it i barely noticed... so dont worry about taht. but it truly was a great movie... actually, now that i come to think about it... that was the first time we went on a date to the movies, and correct me if i am wrong... but i do beleive it was also our first date solely the two of us. besides the others in the theater, but you get me. i had a good time though. so yeah, go see the movie yo'. god bless ---josh---
wow, this is my 2nd blog tonight. i am gonna be writing these things like crazy... so you best get comfy in that chair of yours... because you gonna be reading. lol. anyways, yes so now that you know about the superbowl... this sunday our church youthgroup hosted out annual spagetti dinner and dessert auction. basically the members of the church and youthgroup make desserts and we auction them off while everybody is eating there spagetti and garlic bread the youth group had prepared. it is more of a fundraiser for our mission trip. so yeah, that went pretty well. once again, i spent most of my time with my lovely and beautiful girlfriend... because she is so darn great. actually, my ribs hurt too. i dont know why, but they did. that is not why i was around her. that was just because i love her. lol. but yeah, had a good good time... mingling, and singing, and carrying desserts around, and of course etc. but yeah, we did a thing to see who could hold ice in their hand the longest. she won. we also did a squat wall thing, see who could do that the longest, she won. so yeah, but we had a good time. (redundancy again). i am not exactly sure how we did as far and the money raised but it was fun nonetheless. god bless ---josh---
hey fellas and um.... fellarinas??? anyhow, it has been a while since i have written a blog... so bear with me and if my blog is absolutely utterly repulsive, then uh... stop reading it. please. but yes, i shall write to you concerning our youthgroup's superbowl party, a week ago. you all probably already know, but the colts won. which actually shocked me... i expected the bears to win after that kick return the first play of the game. if not... HEY GUESS WHAT!!!! THE COLTS WON!!!!! see, now you know... so go spread your new found knowledge amongst your buddies at school. lol. but yeah honestly, i barely even watched the superbowl. the only reason i ever watch the superbowl is for the commercials, so shun me for saying so... but tis the truth. this year it didnt seem like the commercials were all that good. but some were still quite hilarious. i liked the fed ex one... with the play off of last years commercial. that was great. but i got to spend pretty much the whole time sitting next to my girlfriend, which was extra fantastic. we had a good time. i think... lol... i had a good time at least, idk if she did or not. probably not because she had to spend the whole time next to me. lol. but yeah... i had a great time and i loved every second with her. it was good, which is redundant because i have already told you that, but i am trying to waste space just because i can... so that is why i put "it was good,". god bless ---josh---
Several years ago at a prestigious university, a philosophy professor gave his students a one-question final exam. He picked up a chair, placed it on top of his desk, and wrote on the board, "using what you have learned in class this semester, prove that this chair does not exist." Most students dug deep and wrote like crazy for the entire hour. Some of them churned out more than 30 pages of heady philosophical debate and logic. One student, though, handed in his paper after less than a minute. As it turned out, he was the only one in his class who got an "A" on his test. His answer consisted of two words: "what chair?"
okay, so i just got done reading about john's story, as part of the chronicles of jesus series, just started by tim lahaye and jerry b jenkins... the coolest authors ever. but yeah, i got the book for christmas from my girlfriend's family... and I LOVE IT. actually, that is kinda an understatement, it was a very very great book. i appreciate getting it very much, so kenzie... be sure to thank you parents and/or katie and nick and/or yourself for getting me it. i really do love it. see, the book is about jesus' disciple john. he was the last living disciple of christ, and it basically goes through his life in rome, in AD.... 96 i think it was. but in the story he starts writing down his account of jesus' time on earth, the gospel of john. so, you are kinda seeing the ministry and life of christ jesus, through john's eyes. it was an awesome thing for me. not only does it stop there, but it goes through his account of receiving the revelation too... and that is soooo cool!!!! another thing that i really loved about the book, is that i have noticed it has given me a more personal feeling partaining to the bible. idk how to explain it... but it just makes me feel as if i understand it a little better and i just know kinda, what is going on during all this time. so it was just really cool, and it is a book i deeply deeply reccommend to anyone with the passion to read such things. it truly is great so thank you much for the book kenzie, and family. god bless
so i am finally updating... with much prompting from the girlfriend, lol, so here it is. now i am sorry, i realize its a little late, but i am updating for last sunday... because WE ACTUALLY HAD CHURCH!!!! see, if you have read my previous blogs you know it had been cancelled for two weeks straight, and if you didnt read my previous two blogs....... you know now. anywhoo, so we finally had church, and i was so happy because i love church. not only that but i got to spend the entire time with the majority of my youthgroup, as we have a puppet ministry team, and we were performing that sunday. PLUS, I GOT TO SIT WITH MY GIRLFRIEND!!!! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! lol, anyways, so i was extremely excited. all went fairly well, all things considered, and i had some good fun. so all is good. but oh my word!!!! just when the snow started melting, by golly we kansans got some more!!! so they cancelled wednesday services, which flustered me... because as i have previously stated, i love church. i enjoy wednesday nights more than sundays even, i dont know if that is good or not, but we have much more fun on wednesday... plus once again, i never got to see my girlfriend. but i did get to talk to her on the phone... so it all evened out. god bless
