Four little kids (about 8-12 yrs old) just came to my door and were seeling thier toys and stuff to collect money for Penny. My goodness how sweet was that? It was really refreshing to saee this act of selflessness, especially when the youth of today get a bad rap because some of them are trouble makers. Thank God for children like this God Bless, Todd

here is a quick update on yesterdays explosion. Penny is in a pittsburgh area hospital with 1st to 3rd degree burns on his head,back and arms. he will be there for about 2-3 weeks. his condition was last released as critical, but stable still no word on cause of explosion. Todd

Sad news this morning folks. the house behind our apartment building exploded at about 7:15 am. Penny, who is our apartment manager was inside at the time, but he made it out. right now he is in critical care at a Pittsburgh area hospital. the cause of the explosion is unknown at this time. He was on oxygen, and he was not a smoker, so that was ruled out. as well as gas leak being ruled out as all the units on this property are electric. Please pray for Penny's quick recovery. He has lost everything. We all were evacuated to the Fire station and were fed and we all were there for each others support. the Mt Pleasant Mayor came in about 11:30 and gave us the all clear to return home. No one else was injured (thank God) when I learn more, I will give more on this. The Lord's Prayer : One of the best i have come across I cannot pray "OUR" ,if my faith has no room for others and their need. I cannot pray "FATHER", if i do not demonstrate this relationship to God in my daily living. I cannot pray "WHO ART IN HEAVEN", if all of my interests and pursuits are in earthly things. I cannot pray "HALLOWED BE THY NAME", if I'am not striving for Gods help to be holy. I cannot pray "THY KINGDOM COME", if i'am unwilling to accept Gods rule in my life. I cannot pray "THY WILL BE DONE", if i'am unwilling and resentful of having it in my life. I cannot pray "IN EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN", unless i'am truly ready to give myself to Gods service here and now. I cannot pray "GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD", without expending honest effort for it or if i would withhold from my neighbor the bread i receive . I cannot pray"FORGIVE US OUR TRESPASSES AS WE FORGIVE THOSE WHO TRESPASS AGAINST US", if i continue to harbor a grudge against anyone. I cannot pray "LEAD US NOT TO TEMPTATION", if i deliberately choose to remain in a situation where i'am likely to be tempted. I cannot pray "DELIVER US FROM EVIL", if i'am not prepared to fight with my life and my prayer. I cannot pray "THINE IS THE KINGDOM", if i'am unwilling to obey the king. I cannot pray "THINE IS THE POWER AND THE GLORY", if i'am seeking power for myself and my own glory first. I cannot pray "FOREVER AND EVER", if i'am too anxious about each days affairs I cannot pray "AMEN", unless i honestly say "NOT MY will but THY will be done, so let it be. Prayer is one of the best free gifts we can receive and give. There is no cost,but a lot of rewards. Let's continue praying for one another.

OK, I need advice. My friend from work is 16. she is a very sweet outgoing young lady. everyone just loves her. well yesterday she came to work and we all knew she just wasnt herself, and as her friend, i tried to cheer her up and ffind out what was wrong. well she said she had a bad night the night before. so i asked her did her date go alright and she said she would talk to me later. so later last night after work she im'ed me and told me her dad found out that she had a date with a kid that he didnt like. so he got mad at her and beat her up. she had said that since he stopped drinking that he didnt do that to her anymore. but last night she was making excises for him, like it was ok. then i found out today that her father is a very popular person in our town, so to me that means she is covering it up for him. so should i back off and not say anything??? any help woul be greatly apprecited God Bless Todd

Christianity is not a bunch of do's and don'ts. It is love, life and liberty through Jesus Christ. Christianity is not dependent on race, color, sex or background. All are one in Jesus. Christianity is not an excuse for our sins, but freedom from servitude to sin. Christianity is not a get rich quick scheme, but contentment in all situations. Christianity is not all the answers on a silver platter. Its receiving Him who has the answers. John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. Christianity is not primarily churchgoing, ceremonies, creeds or conduct. It is Christ in you. Colossians 1:27 "To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:" Christianity is not a new religion, it is fulfilment of the promises made to Adam & Abraham. John 8:58 "Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am." Christianity is not momentary emotional experience, it is a lifetime commitment. Matthew 10:22 "And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved." Christianity is not something you are born into. it is being born again in spirit.
